Krademon
Who does lucid dreaming? It's fun and weird, but alot of people do it. Are you one of these interested few? I never knew about lucid dreaming untill my brother got into it, he's a big lucid dreamer and has lots of books and visits sites often. I'm what you might call a pazzive lucid dreamer. I have never had complete conciousness in my dreams but can enforce alot of control on my dream state. I once drempt about being chased by raptors, but instead of running I used my head. soooooo. I threw grenades at them up (didn't work). I pegged doors shut. (same) And eventually surprised the back of its legs with a baseball bat. Crazy? No!..because it was a dream. So Lets hear of your crazy dreams, even your sane ones.
zidane11
So you can basically control your dreams? I can wake up if I want and I think I have some control. Dreams are just that way. It makes you feel like you are in control when your not.
Juu
Dreams can just seem like reality, when it's not. I have alot of dreams where I'm in my bed, and I wake up with everything where it should be, and I walk out of the door, and all of a sudden something is different. Corey
I seem to Lucid Dream, I had no idea that it was called that, on a random basis. One night I would have a guided dream, and the next I will have a lucid one. Some of these websites our brother visits, could you post them? I always seem to have the bast days when I lucid dream. Ok, here's one of my insane dreams. I was walking in the desert. Then i came upon something that looked an aweful like the gaping mouth thing from StarWars: Return Of The Jedi. It's tounge came up and nabbed me. I was carried down it's gullet. Suddenly I was in one of the hallways from the game HalfLife. All of the wierd aliens were attacking me and all I had was the crowbar. I was whacking them and then turned and ran when they were dead. I ran into the locker room and hid there untill the big green boss monster came in and killed me. As it turns out I had just came back from a StarWars marathon and fell asleep playing that game. Bizzare huh?
User Name
I thought lucid dreaming was where you knew you were dreaming, nothing to actually do with control. Show's how much I know . . .

Turkey
I only lucid dreamed once. A car wanted to run me over. Suddenly, I noticed that I was dreaming, so I stopped and smashed the car with a punch (or kick? I forgot). Then I made a harem appear. Sadly, my Mom woke me up just before....Let's leave it at that. amibasuki
I've only had two lucid dreams I can remember. in one dream I flew around my room on a really small broomstick and flew out the window (wow, huh?). in another dream I had powers like the dudes off of DBZ, and me and Android 17 were beating up Piccolo in my bedroom. no clue why though... Amphion
I have never had a lucid dream. I have never had any control over my dreams at all. In fact, I usually wake up and hit my self in the head because some of the things I did in my dream where so stupid. I think lucid dreams would be awesome though. Its like the ultimate experience. Kinda like being in a Movie or something. Anything would be possible. If you can post some links, I am sure we would all like to study some more about this. Juu
one time I had a dream where I was running in some sort of alley, Just then, I ran into a shadowy figure. It pulled out a gun, and shot me, I felt myself stop breathing, and I thought I felt something watery, but sorta thicker in hand.... I woke up, sweating, and for some reason, I was a lil paler.... Fall
I don't really know if I actually "lucid dream" but I tend to dream about something, wake up in the morning, and if it was a good dream I go back to sleep and have the dream again, except changing a few things in it. Pretty cool actually.... :D I once had this dream about an atomic war erupting in our school yard, with guns, bombs, planes, etc.... I even felt being shot. I dreamt this dream over a week.....I would go to sleep thinking abotu having that dream again, and then I would dream about it. Of course, continuing from where it left off the last night. Sara
I prefer dreams where I'm not in control of anything but myself. It's too much work running the whole show. ;)

Show's how much I know . . .
That's correct: LUCID DREAM (loo' sid dreem): a dream in which the dreamer is fully aware of the fact that he or she is dreaming, being fully lucid in the dream and fully conscious while dreaming. Krademon
That unability to move is called drem paralasis. It is actually a state you're body enters everynight and why you can have an operationand not roll over.Dream signs are a good way to become lucid: DREAM SIGNS: Clocks time will change Ie. 4:00 than 11:30. you just look than look again. You can't read. Or actually scentences and words change all the time. Starange stuff, like a pink elephant. The way to use these is to look for them all the time during the day. Like if your watch alarm goes off than do the time check, set it for an hour. And always ask yourself "am I dreaming", don't answer it just ask it in your head. When lucid (fully lucid) you can. FLY:induced by climbing invisible steps in the air, jumping hight or just taking off. SUMMON: Make objects appear. INCORPREAL: Walk through walls, usually end up in a new place. VISION: you can see infinitely and everything is clearer. SHARED: dream with others, dunno if it works. If you start to go lucid and "feel" your control slipping than spin close your eyes and spin, grab onto something tight or rub your hands together. I'll post some helpful sites later. Sara
Same day every year, eh? Okay. I dream every night. Sometimes it's a bit of a saga, with one dream being set after one I had at a previous date. those are kinda cool. Last night I had a dream that Justin was trying to kill me.... oO;;

Mitch
Whenever I dream, I never remember anything, except for occasionally random bits and pieces. ..it kind of sucks in some ways. You know what they say--dreams are sometimes a view into the future...
Kinetic
Same here. I remember little bits sometimes. I remember one time...I was in Australia, and I was talking to Squashed Snail, and we were in this minority group, I don't even know what the group was meant to achieve. It was wierd o_O;;
zidane11
I wish that I could control my own dreams. By the way, you talked to a squashed snail or the squashed snail. lol
Mike
When I sometimes have dreams, like I fall or jump off a cliff or something, before I hit the bottom I always wake up. When I do, my whole bed shakes, like I was floating above it! :wigout: Either that or I just shake the bed, lol. It's scary, but at the same time really cool. :D :p :D  [Edit] Oh, one more thing I almost forgot! Every year on christmas, I used to have a dream that a skeleton wearing a target on his chest was chasing me. He had a whole skeleton army too, lol. I would run down my street, go into my house, and sit behind a blue hair we used to have(now at my dad's.) He would always come in, look behind the couch, then look behing the chair and find me. Then the dream would end. I think I stopped having that dream when the chair moved to another area in the living room, lol.
