GinnyLyn
Question! What is the best way to keep from slipping on ice in MM?
Desbreko
Answer: You just swing your sword whenever you want to stop sliding. Question: Okay, in A Link to the Past, what's the best way to stop yourself while sliding on ice?
GinnyLyn
Eh, that wasn't the answer I was looking for, Des. And for heck of it, is your answer using the Dash ability with the Pegasus Boots?
Desbreko
Bleh, fine then, you wear the Goron Mask, and you don't slide on ice. Personally, though, I find it easier to just swing my sword to keep in control when I'm on ice, since you don't have to keep switching back and forth between Link and Goron-Link whenever you come to some icy ground. Unless I'm already wearing the Goron Mask, I don't bother with it. And yes, you got it right. You start to dash, but let up the button before you actually move, and you end up just stopping.
GinnyLyn
Ah, poor you. :p OK, Question, Question...hmmmm.... Bremma
Akiday! How do you alter the sounds of the notes of the ocarina in OOC and MM, and for extra crdit, how did the pitch change? (hint: steps)
Desbreko
Answer: To go a half step higher on a note, hold in the R button when you play the note, to go a half step lower, hold in the Z button when you play the note, and to gradually shift the note to the next higher or next lower note, press up or down on the Control Stick. To add a vibration effect to the notes, push left or right on the Control Stick. Question: In A Link to the Past, what is the name of the pond where you get the Quake Medallion?
Talon
I think it's the Lake of Ill Omens, or the Pond of Omens. Was I right?
Desbreko
Yeah, it's the Lake of Ill Omen. Ask away.
Talon
Question:What creature will annoy the Hell outta you near the Dark World's version of the Eastern palace? (He'll empty your pocketbook, too)
GinnyLyn
I know exactly what you are talking about, but I can't remember the name. He's a little creature that'll sneak up out of nowhere, bump into you (you get hurt a little and lose rupees), and he runs off fast. All that info is great, but no name...>.<
Talon
Nope. THAT would be a thief. The creature I'm talking about is also a relative of the monoliths on the front of the Palace you find him on the way to. ALSO, he empties your pocketbook or rupees ONLY. You lose bombs and arrows when you hit a thief, but not this annoying lil bastard.
Valen
Is it Kiki The Rupee Loving Monkey? The little brat makes you cough up 10 every time you bump into him, then 100 to open the damned enterance...

Valen
Okay, easy one here... Question: In LttP/FS, what is the script on the Tombstone of Death Mountain, and what item do you get from it?
Talon
I forget the script, something to the effect of "He who wields the Master Sword, raise it high and receive the power of Ether.", and naturally you'd get the Ether Medallion.
Valen
Close enough. Take the question.
Talon
Question:Is the series EVER continuous for more than two games? Or is the whole series connected? Bremma
Alright... No long term continuity.. some relation with a simaliar hero and villan figure and land in MOST games. heh, really opened ended question. How does this sound?
