Talon
By automatic, I meant that YOU COULD NOT CHANGE THE BUTTON ASSIGNMENT. And I hven't played LoZ in four years, now matter WHAT my New Year's Resolution was. (Play every single Zelda game legallized by Miyamoto end-to-end in a single week....) Anyhow, to the question. Question:Which character in OoT is found at the base of a tree, then later at the base of a tree stump. Also, what character replaces this character after you complete a part of an item quest and what is her favorite word (it seems like her favorite word to me, anyway)?
GinnyLyn
I think I understand what you are asking. Cojiro's owner is found at the base of a tree in Kakariko village when you are little Link. As adult Link, you find him in the Lost Woods, leaning against a tree stump. Later, he is replaced by a Kokiro girl, and yeah, I noticed a repetitive word in there, too--something like "always", "forever", or some other eternal type word. She kept saying it over and over again as she was talking about how Cojiro's owner was forever a Stalfos now.
Talon
She got it, but the word was "Stalfos".
GinnyLyn
Coolies! ^^ Describe the locations of five of the Big Poes that wander the "future" Hyrule Field in OoT. (How many are there in total?)
Bremma
Alright... there are 10 big poes. One byt he tree at the ranch entrance, another by a canal, one at the overhand byt he entrance to Kariko(sp) Village, one down the hill near the entrance to the Gerudo Domain and one by a rock near the fence past the entrance to Zora River. Good?
GinnyLyn
OK, it's all good. Go for it, Bremma. :)

Desbreko
When you say trials, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean things that you have to do to get Small Keys, or what?

Valen
Chris Houlihan's Room, and it has 45 blue rupees with a telepathy pad on the north wall. Q) In Lttp/FS, how many fly zones are there?? The fly zone thing is the map with numbers after you free the bird from Kakariko Villiage.
Talon
I think it's eight.
Valen
Nope, but close. Look closely at the map when you call the bird.
Talon
I can't know, then. It could be nine, but i never got the flute on LttP/FS, just on LttP which has only eight.
Desbreko
Answer: Yeah, there's nine, but you only start with the original eight when you get the Flute. Once you get up to where Turtle Rock is in the Light World, though, the ninth one appears there. Very handy, since you you don't have to hike up through the mountains from the first drop-off point in front of the Lost Old Man's cave in order to get to Turtle Rock or Ganon's Tower. Question: In A Link to the Past, what is the most powerful weapon in the game, besides one-hit-kill items like the Fire Rod and Bombos?
Talon
If you mean aside from the Golden Sword, it's the Magic Hammer, which I think deals as much the Master Sword or the Tempered Sword.
Desbreko
Nope, it's not the Magic Hammer. (It does as much as the Tempered Sword). And I am counting the Golden Sword; it's not a one-hit-kill on everything, just most things.
Talon
Well.....*runs through the list of items*....maybe the Bow and Silver Arrows.
Valen
Or maybe it's the... hmm... no.... the ice rod?
Desbreko
Heh, the Ice Rod is either a one-hit-kill (except against bosses, where nothing is a one-hit-kill), or it doesn't actually do any damage, it just freezes the enemy. The Bow & Silver Arrows is correct, though. Try hitting a Hinox (big, bomb throwing cyclops enemies in the Dark World) with the Golden Sword, and you'll find that they take two hits to kill. Hit one with a Silver Arrow, though, and it only takes one hit. Ask away, Eterah's.
Talon
Question:Link learns magical spells that are symbolized for use by a special item on the inventory screen in two games. What are these two games, what are the spells, and what items symbolize them? Where do you get the first of each item, if you begin collecting the items as soon as you can?
GinnyLyn
I only know one of the games. :bluesweat LttP: Ether (lightning bolt medallion): found on Death Mountain *Bombos* (four curved lines radiated out from center medallion): found in the circle of stone pond (name? eep!) when you chuck a rock in it. Quake (wavy horizontal line): Some Light/Dark world skipping here, but up on a cliff going toward the desert area.
