GinnyLyn
Mmm, depends on what shooting range you want. There's the Gerudo one, the Shooting Gallery in Kakariko, and the Slingshot one in Hyrule marketplace. So a little specification, please? (I do believe two of those three also have several different patterns that the rupees pop up.)
Krillen
It is the one in the Hyrule Market. And there is only one pattern each time. ....sorry......
Desbreko
Hmm, guess I'll give this a shot. Been a few months since I did that on Master Quest, but I think I can remember. (And by the way, the shooting gallery in Kakariko Village, when you're old, doesn't have a set pattern. And the horseback archery game by the Gerudo Fortress doesn't use Rupees as targets). Answer: First a green Rupees pops up in the center. Then a blue Rupees pops out from the side, followed by another one from the opposite side. (I forget which side is first). After that, a green Rupees comes up and out from the center, and then falls back down in. Then two more blue Rupees come out from either side, this time both at once. After that, two red Rupees come out from the right side, moving along side by side over to the left side where they disappear. Then the same thing happens again, with two more red Rupees, only they go from left to right. So, am I right?
Insane Idiot
I looked in this handy dandy guide I have, and it turns out you got them in the correct order. Ask away, Des!
Desbreko
Whee, okay. I guess I could have done that too, since I have two OOT guides (three, actually, they gave me a duplicate of one with the bonus disc, lol), but I never thought of checking my answer. :cross: Anyway... Question: In The Wind Waker, what do blue ChuChus always give you in addition to or instead of a piece of blue Chu Jelly when you kill them?
Mei
YELLOW RUPEES!^^ *goes to ponder up a question* OKIE! I've thought of one! Question:There is a certain item you get from the eskimo dude*can't remember his name for some reason* on Windhill island. What is it called and how do you get it?>>*this one's easy!*
GinnyLyn
I believe you mean Red's Sail? You get it by talking to the eskimo guy and he sells it to you in order to get money to start his business. If I'm right, then Q: In Majora's Mask, a new picture is carved into a tree stump. What is on the picture (I expect to hear all the carving, or no go.) Krillen
Actually Ginn, I think Mei meant a different item. Is it the magic shield you get from the eskimo's shop after completing the trading quest?

GinnyLyn
I'm pretty sure it's: Bottle-500, Heart Piece-950, and Chart-900. If I am right, then identify all 29 masks from Majora's Mask as hinted at below: 1. Put me on and see you cry. 2. Talking to bones. 3. Wearing me hurts you. 4. Insomniac, are you? 5. ARGH! Dog! ARGH! Fire! 6. I cannot tell a lie... 7. A full moon, complete destruction. 8. Bugs, bugs, and MORE bugs. 9. Don't forget the stamp. 10. Can't see me, can you? 11. Two of the hosts, only one of me. 12. Twisted sword, easy win. 13. Mooooo... 14. The only time it's polite to snort. 15. Answer me these riddles three (or any number of questions). 16. Making an adult look like a kid? 17. Turning kids into adults. 18. Baaah Bahhh big sheep...sheep? Oo; 19. Dancing the night away. 20. Just because I have the pigtails doesn't mean I scream with insane laughter. 21. Ring of fire, lost in shadow. 22. Size DOES matter. 23. Bringing enemies together to sing. 24. Pirahna. 25. Breathe underwater. 26. Time to Rock and Roll. 27. When the Sun and Moon are together as one... 28. Speedy little thing, ain't cha? 29. Silencing the undead. GinnyLyn
Not true. You can only use 24 masks, you can obtain 28 of them, and the 29th one is the namesake of the game. Try again, Dessy dear. :p

GinnyLyn
Hold your horses, Mr. Happy. ^^;; You got 27/29 correct, so two of yours are in the wrong place. Switch 'em and it's all good.
Desbreko
But . . . uh . . . all of my answers fit the clues: 1. Circus Leader's Mask - Put it on to make Gorman cry. 2. Captain's Hat - You can talk to the Stalchildren while wearing this mask. 3. Blast Mask - It hurts you to use this mask. 4. All-Night Mask - You don't sleep while wearing this mask. 5. Deku Mask - Both the dog and fire hurt you while wearing this mask. 6. Mask of Truth - It's a Mask of Truth, so it can't lie. 7. Majora's Mask - When the moon gets its largest in the sky, a "full moon," Termina will be destroyed. 8. Don Gero's Mask - You conduct the frogs to eat bugs with this mask. 9. Postman's Hat - Being a postman while wearing this mask, you'd want to check letters for stamps. 10. Stone Mask - Enemies can't see you while wearing this mask. 11. Twinmold's Remains - There's two worms but only one giant. 12. Fierce Deity's Mask - You have a twisted sword, and any boss is easy to beat with this mask. 13. Romani's Mask - This mask looks like a cow, cows go moo. 14. Mask of Scents - You snort while wearing this mask, if you stand still for a couple seconds. 15. Keaton Mask - If you wear this mask and get a Keaton to appear, it'll ask you questions. 16. Kafei's Mask - While wearing this mask, you look like Kafei, but you also look like a kid. 17. Bremen Mask - You can use this mask with your Ocarina to turn chicks into full-grown Cuccos. 18. Goht's Remains - Goats aren't too far off from sheep, and Goht is quite big. 19. Kamero's Mask - Kamero dances during the night, and you dance for the Rosa Sisters at night, using this mask. 20. Great Fairy's Mask - This mask has pigtails, and Great Fairies scream with insane laughter. 21. Garo's Mask - Garos are lost in shadow, and you fight them in a ring of fire. 22. Giant's Mask - Size matters in the fight with Twinmold, and you use the Giant's Mask to get up to the right size. 23. Odolwa's Remains - Odolwa sort of sings as it dances around the room. 24. Gyorg's Remains - Gyorg is pretty much just a huge piranha. 25. Zora Mask - You can breathe while underwater when you wear this mask. 26. Goron Mask - Gorons are rocky, and you can roll along the ground as one. 27. Couple's Mask - You get the Couple's Mask from re-uniting Anju and Kafei, who are going to wear the Moon's Mask and Sun's Mask at their wedding. 28. Bunny Hood - You're twice as fast while wearing this mask. 29. Gibdo's Mask - Gibdos, being undead monsters, don't attack you while wearing this mask.
Mei
He's right Ginny, all his answers DO fit the clues...^^()
GinnyLyn
Don't ever question me. :p ^_^ Ahem. #8-The reference to the bugs refers to the multitude of insects Odolwa throws at you, thus Odolwa's Remains. #23-"Bringing enemies together to sing"--If I remember correctly, Odolwa sang and then there were bugs, not the other way around. This clue refers to whacking the Geckos in the dungeons so they would turn back into frogs and sing in the chorus, thus Don Gero's Mask. But 27/29 ain't bad, so go for it, Des!
Desbreko
Yes, but it's not the enemies that are singing in the frog chorus, it's the frogs. So you're not bringing the enemies together, you're bringing the frogs together. And besides, only two of the frogs come from enemies (the Gekko mini-boss in Woodfall Temple and the Wart mini-boss in Great Bay Temple), so that doesn't match up all the way. And for Odolwa, I seem to remember the enemies coming at you while he's dancing and singing, not after. My answers match up just as good as yours, so :p yourself. :toothy: And my question from before still stands: Question: In The Legend of Zelda, what color is Gannon normally, and what color is he when he's stunned?
Talon
Gawd....years since I bothered to get that far. I think he was blue, and when he was stunned he'd turn grayish. Of course, I might just be confusing LoZ and LttP...
Desbreko
Heh, close enough. He's blue normally, and he's red when stunned. Go ahead and ask a question.
Talon
For what reason were you allowed only to carry 255 rupees in LoZ, and for what reason did using arrows deplete said Rupees? Bonus:What game was the first to resolve both of these inconveniences in the Zelda series?
Desbreko
I already asked the bit about the Rupees at the start of the quiz, but not the rest. So here goes: Answer: You can only carry 255 Rupees because Nintendo only used one byte of information for storing the amount of Rupees you have. You can have 256 different values with one byte, meaning that you can carry 0-255 Rupees. The reason why firing the Bow & Arrow uses Rupees is because you don't get separate arrows. You just buy the Arrow once, to go with the Bow (making it the Bow & Arrow), and from then on it just takes one Rupee per arrow fired. As for the bonus, the answer would either be Zelda II or A Link to the Past. In Zelda II you don't get Rupees or a Bow & Arrow, so I guess that could be seen as resolving the problem. In A Link to the Past they used more space for storing your amount of Rupees, so that you can carry up to 999. They also made it so you get arrows separately, so that it doesn't just take a Rupee for each arrow. Question: In The Legend of Zelda, how much does the Blue Ring cost?
Talon
250 rupees. Question:What enemy from the Zelda series usually needs to stop moving before you can kill it? Hint:They did away with the "unmoving" kill factor in the 64 titles and in Wind Waker.
