Toe Jam and Earl

I heard they are making this game for the Xbox and hopefully it has the comedy it had in the previous Toe Jam's because I liked them all but that was back in the day when I thought farting was a funny thing and maybe it still is to some people. But is there any other Toe Jam and Earl fans. The new game Toe Jam and Earl: All Funked Up seems to have a new character hopefully she is as cool as the main characters.

I own both the Genesis games. I do think they are good, but I still don't get the attraction to them. Can someone tell me what is so amazing about these games? And don't tell me the humor as the only reason... I don't find either that funny.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just don't get it :).

Well Toe Jam and Earl was a Sega Mega Drive hit some ten years ago now. I owned both the games and thought they were great now Toe Jam & Earl III: All Funked Up looks like another brilliant hit. Latisha looks like a funny character who has joined these wicked alien dudes on a travel to Earth. It's basically a platform game where I think the idea of the game is to gather 12 Sacred Albums. 2 player game maybe bit childish for me now, but I'm not bothered really. Time to 'funkify'the uncool earthlings and Save the X-Box!

True, only moderators can act like moderators really. You didn't say anything about your life, so I'm confused at what Zidane meant. :drunk:

And Zidane, the post you just made was completely off topic, you in fact didn't say anything about the game and just lectured Tommy, here.

Edit: But on topic, I did use to have lots of fun on the old Toejam and Earl games, but didn't really understand them. I doubt I'll get this game, because it just isn't my taste anymore (I couldn't anyway, I lack the X-Box).

OK you two save the handbags untill later, so back onto the actual subject. I hear this is yet another game you will be able to play online. X-Box Live really trying to make a name for itself. You get different power-ups from the originals like rocket roller-skates, spring shoes and a silly hat lol.

Off the subject: 1. I would have to say Tommy I'm not sure if I really want it myself either just sending in some information.

2. Zidane your not really a mod yourself so you can't exactly warn him and I didn't see you write anything on the topic either!

p.s Sorry for saying the same thing I posted this before I saw Break's post. :box:

This game sounds confusing if you ask me! The descriptions remind me of a cross between Abe and Rayman, but that's probably just my imagination. This is one of those games that I reckon you can rent and complete.
*Off Topic* This whole argument has to stop. I am not playing mod here, but voicing my opinion. TommyVercetti, your posts aren't long or detailed enough, and in my opinion you have no reason to post in this thread as you know nothing about the topic in hand. (You still owe me £15). I am sure Break and anyone will agree with me, let's just carry on with the thread.*off topic*

Well now this feud thing has stopped if anyone is confused whether to get this game it should be like the other duo platformers that took Toe Jam & Earl's spotlight such as Jak & Daxter and Rachet & Clank. If they didn't take to your liking that much then I would advise you not to get it. :)

I played the orgianal 2 games to death years ago, and I still play them. I don't have an XBOX, but my friend recently got this game, and we took turns. And once he gets a 2nd controller, I'll probably be at his house everyday. XBOX owners, buy this, you won't be dissapointed

well, after Toejam and Earl came out, I've played all of their games (yes, even their crappy appearence in Wacky Worlds) since the first was so good. I guess you could call me a Toejam and Earl fanboy almost. But, my friend really likes it too, and he never evn heard of them until now. While i have read many reviews on this game, most of them have been good, the rest just OK. If you liked their other games though, I'm sure you'll like this one.
