Guest Vermifuge
I just stumbled across this board and tight I would post a note I would like to welcome any of you interested in computers or anime to visit my site otaku!PC The site has been around about a year now but we are currently expanding to cover games and anime. otaku!Game should launch Monday covering games on all platforms and genres. otaku!AV will launch shortly after. This site will cover all other forms of entertainment including Anime, movies, music, even RC cars. We also recently launched a new look. What you see on the site is the current layout planed to be used on all three sites. Your welcome to post suggestions, questions, or comments in this thread or in our own sites forum. Any help is appreciated as we need to learn what YOU need and want from the site. Again thanks for your time. I hope I?m not intruding on your forum it just seemed like the right place to make this announcement because of the obvious relevance.
Kei
Apparently, you haven't read our rules, or you would know that advertising here on OB is against them.
Guest Vermifuge
I didn't read but i'm not selling anything either
Kei
When I said "advertising" I meant making this thread to tell people about your site. Having a link or something like that in your signature is okay, but this isn't.
PiroMunkie
I reccomend you read the rules before you post again, if the SM's or James decides just to give you a warning. You're advertising you'r own site in a thread. It's agianst the rules. Period. You don't have to be selling anything. If you want to advertise, that what your signature is for. I, myself, am appalled that you couldn't come up with something original for a name. "Otaku PC"? Why does that sound familiar? OtakuBoards, Otaku Poetry, Otaku Artist... hrmm...
Guest Vermifuge
Lady Katana: I'll make a note of that =) PiroMunkie: i did a quick search in the Verasign just to ease minds OtakuBoards was created 4/26 2001 OtakuPC was created 4/30 2001 I think it is safe to say that both sites were created independent of the others influence. All that i can say is 'great minds think alike'
Guest Vermifuge
Well, I?m audi. If you wish to let politics spoil a good time then do so. On the other hand the site MAY be of use to some people, and if that?s the case they are welcome to come visit. Letting rules govern evety action will lead to a ver boring life. BabyGirl
Yes, advertising is not allowed on these boards, and is specifically stated in the rules. Please don't do it again :) *Edit: Advertising the site in your sig, however, is quite all right.

Lol, you must live on some other planet then... apparently the government didn't do a good job in school for you. Anyway, it specifically sayd to read the rules before you post, yet you obviously disregarded that.... and it's not ruining a good time, it's stopping stupid people from posting stupid things... like SPAM for example, and a good example of SPAM would be this topic. Like BG said, if you wanna advertize (which means to enilighten people about a product or item or anything in ameans they would want to become interested in it... which is exactly what you did) then you can do it in your sig.
