Devidramon
Second, actually. First being Zedd and that camera monster. And even though it'd been done before, it did set the stage for the Aquitians arc and the Tommy's Brother arc. 1000th post! Who da man!
Omar Harris
You da mon. I saw Saturday's episodes of Wild Force and they finally had Animus in action although his appearance was out of nowhere which really kinda killed the scene. The Animus Wild Zords look exactly like the original five except the lion is black, bison is brown, the tiger is a cheetah, the eagle is a blue condor, and the shark is a purplish-red saw shark. Devidramon
Animus usually does come out of nowhere. But this time, he was more of a slightly-more-mysterious Megazord than an ancient entity, and wasn't his usual who-the-heck-is-that self. He's not supposed to appear physically. And his component zords were just more sinister-looking versions of the usual ones. But, we should have known it was coming sooner or later: Master Org said of Animus' first appearance that he's not completely back... yet. (Though how he even knew who Animus was is a mystery to me. Animus was last seen 3,000 years ago, and Adler was born in 1948.) I wonder if Animus will be back a hundred percent by the end of the season. Anybody else hoping they get rid of Mandilok real soon? He/she/whatever is seriously getting on my nerves. Then again, Mandilok actually does something. Master Org could rarely be bothered to do anything. Zen-Aku was Nayzor's project, and the monster-of-the-week is a random Org that Toxica and Jindrax happen to run across. The bad guys just aren't into making actual plans this season. One thing I hope they explain: Just how do the Rangers get from the ground to the Animarium and back? They've never been seen to teleport.
Nerdsy
I saw the Animus episode... at first it was actually pretty good. I loved the dancing bit. I started cracking up. Then Animus showed up... I didn't recognize this guy until he went back into a floating spirit head thing. His zords looked terrible, except for the modified Shark. He looked good. I find it kinda obvious about the mystery behind Animus is... I'm not going to post it, some people might not have figured it out, and I don't want to spoil anything. And yes, I DO wish they'd get rid of this Mandilok. He's too comical to be a villain. And I bet Adler knows because he somehow absorbed the memorys of Master Org when he ate those seeds. Or a plot hole. Feh.
Omar Harris
Mandilok is a horrible villain. I'm pretty sure Master Org will come back and finish him off or something like that. The Team Carnival Episode was weird. Jindrax was actually a bit "honorable" in that episode. Sometimes, showing villains act in such a way is awkward because then I kinda feel for them for a while when I'm not supposed to. Weird. I liked the Lunar Wolf vs. Zen-Aku episode somewhat. I just wish Merrick had a weapon better than a pool cue. The Green Ranger gets a butt-kicking dagger, white has a talking sword with a head, gold had a cool staff, Magna Defender gets a gun/rifle (easily the best PR weapon ever). Hell, Zhane and the Titanium ranger even had some nifty weapons. But they give the Lunar Wolf a pool cue?:therock: Go figure.
Devidramon
Yeah, from that awesome Crescent Blade to playing pool with Animal Crystals. I'd throw the cue out entirely, and I'd still have him call the Zords by flute. Too much like the Green Ranger, I suppose, but still, it'd be a lot better than "Lunar Cue: Break Mode." And two zords and the Falcon's hiding place also smack of seasons past, so one more Morphinism won't hurt. Oh, well, at least it has Blaster Mode. Yeah, the dancing was hilarious, even better than Dischordia. But why'd the Rangers come in unmorphed? And I'd have had, when Flute Org went giant, he'd make the Zords dance too. Imagine the Isis Megazord tangoing with the Congo Zord, that'd be hilarious. Mandilok has got to go. Its obsession with eating just isn't becoming of a main villain. And I wish I could get my hands on whoever decided to make the General Orgs based on part of the face. First Retinax, who wasn't too bad if not for the fact that Eye Guy, who showed up at least twice a season, was much better. Then Nayzor, who was okay, but that costume was ridiculous and it's hard to take a guy with two noses stuck on top of his head seriously. Now Mandilok, with a bunch of mouths covering its body, and two main ones, one with a male voice and one with a female voice so I don't even know whether to call it 'he' or 'she.' What's next, a big walking ear whose favorite phrase is "ain't tryin' to hear that?" Toxica and Jindrax are the only thing I really like about Wild Force. Instead of blindly following whoever laughs evilly, they didn't trust Master Org from day one, and actually did something about it. And though they're the usual scumbags where world domination is involved, they do watch each others' backs most of the time, which makes them more like real people than most other baddies. They've always been the real stars to me. While Master Org never did much of anything, and the Rangers don't seem to have lives outside of orgbusting, Toxica and Jindrax are the ones that actually bring life to the show. The only reason I watch WF at all is to see what they're going to do next. I just wish they were better fighters. They're always made to look Team Rocket-ish whenever the Rangers show up. Jindrax calls himself the Master of Blades, I'd like to see some swordsmanship. And Toxica's staff packs a good bit of punch, but she never uses it for much of anything except for that growth spell. I'd like to see them do some Ranger-stomping on occasion. Maybe even toss back a few growth seeds and kick Megazord over a few times, like Goldar and Scorpina used to do. (Well, it was Rita's wand and not seeds back then, but you know what I mean.) As for "Kite," I'm sure he's Zord-related. Of the three weird kids in Wild Force so far, two turned out to be Zords and one led them to a Zord. This guy's probably the same. I thought that from the first time I saw him. Or he could be one of the Ancient Warriors, with the way he gets sad whenever he looks at the memorial. Of course, don't say it if you actually know for sure. Devidramon
I distinctly saw Skull in one of those pictures. In fact, since we saw Bulk a few times in Lost Galaxy but Skull for about five minutes in the premiere and that's it, we'll probably see more of Skull than Bulk this time around. What would be really cool (though I know they won't) is to bring in next year's Red Ranger as well. You know, have him show up, reveal just enough about him to tantalize everyone as to what Ninja Storm will be about, as well as showing us one of the new costumes. They have to have some idea as to what it's about at this point. The Japanese version's got to have started already.

Devidramon
Yeah, it's pretty bad. Break Mode is when he makes some motion in the air to create a field of green light that traps the monster. Then he places Animal Crystals on it and launches them at the monster like pool balls. To call the Zords, he does the same thing, only pointing upwards. And you know when Zen-Aku would call his Zords and the crystals would bounce off of each other? Now they do the same bouncing scene, only playing the sound of pool balls bouncing off of each other. Then there's Saber Mode. But a saber is supposed to be sharp, and the cue isn't. So I'm supposed to take it seriously when that thin little wand bounces off of the monster, causing the monster to holler in pain and dramatically flop over. I swear, it's like a WWF match. Blaster Mode is when it re-forms into a gun. But the way he holds it is so wrong that you can't even take that seriously.
Hyper
Nerdsy what was the secret of Animus? Post spoilers if needed.
Devidramon
No, don't. Please. It'd be kinda nice to be able to discuss without being afraid of having the whole thing ruined for you. It's why, though I love discussions like this, you'll never see me on an actual Power Rangers board. We'll learn about Animus soon enough, it's called "watching the show," which is more fun when you don't know what's going to happen. Let's remember why 'spoilers' are so named. Please, if you do know, just PM him.
Schrat
does anyone have any idea what the red ranger episode will be about ?
Devidramon
I haven't heard anything from what looks like a reliable source. All we know is that all the Red Rangers are there, as well as Bulk and Skull, as well as Shadow Borg and a couple of Astral Borgs. Or at least the costumes. Rumor has it the Machine Empire is involved. (But the show had it that the Machines were turned into sand, so I doubt the validity of that.) Of course, the info might be out there, but I'm not looking for it. Like I said, more fun when you don't know what's going to happen next. But, there are a few sites that might have the info, like Sentai Sanctorum. Or Grnrngr might know. Just do a Google search for them.

Devidramon
In the commercial for Forever Red, we distinctly hear Cole say "You're not going to bring back Serpentera!" And there's a scene of one of the Rangers taking on Shadowborg. Unfortunately, Shadowborg's voice isn't the same. He sounded so cool in Beetleborgs. Argh, it's not like Bob Papenbrook's that hard to get ahold of. (Or at least, I assume not, because he's on every third or so episode as monsters of the day.) Then again, since they probably don't want it to be the same character, they probably made sure he sounded nothing like his Beetleborgs counterpart. Wonder if he'll still have that Deep Freeze weapon. But mainly, I wonder who the villain will be. There's no way Mandilok knows about a planetwrecking spaceship hidden on the dark side of the moon. Omar Harris
I was doing some information searching for times for the Forever Red episode and decided to research Ninja Storm. I finally found 1 site with very limited info. *Spoiler The team is five as usual but instead of red, yellow, blue, pink and green/black there is a blue yellow and ninja storm ranger and then two of what are known as Shadow ninja rangers. The Shadow Ninja rangers have some armor, resembling Samurais, and are blue and red. The 2 blue rangers are female. There will be a green ranger as the confirmed 6th member. The zords are: Blue-dolphin Yellow-Lion (again) Red-Hawk Shadow Blue-Scarab Beetle Shadow Red-Rhino Beetle Green-Some sort of helicopter like zord that turns into a warrior Edit: Here is the site if you want more info. Nerdsy
Forever Red was incerdible. This was one of the best episodes I have ever seen, and is all ready one of my favorites. I'm not going to go in depth in it, some of you might not have seen it yet. After all, it was never advertised as to when it was going to air on ABC. For those who didn't see it, it aired on ABC Saturday, October 5th. (Today. ^_^) I will say a few things. Rocky wasn't in it, at any capcity. No Ninja Suits, no cameo, not even a mention that he was a Ranger. Serpentera was completely redisigned. Remember how he was green? Well, now he's silver. And a lot thinner. He's done completely in CGI this time, like all the other Zords of Wild Force. Aurico never shows his face. I'm not sure why, probably because they didn't want to pay another actor. The action scenes were great. They had a Matrix thing going on. But enough about Forever Red, I want to talk about the other episodes now. I was right about who Kite was. Turned out, he was Animus. Anyway, about today's episode, "The Sole of Humanity". I'm curious as to why they spelled sole that was. I thought the Org was going to be some type of shoe monster. Thank Zordon it wasn't. Turned out to be some sort of toy robot thing. Not much better, but at least they didn't have to fight a giant shoe. So why spell it Sole if their's no pun involved? Did they all ready use the title "The Soul of Humanity"? That's all I have for now...
Omar Harris
Forever red was pretty cool. I just wish they had done something else for the villains instead of getting the old Beetleborg costumes. I saw: Shadow Borg, Lady Borg, Dragon Borg, Green Hunter Borg, and I think Lightening Borg (I get him and Fire Borg confused sometimes). I miss that show :( Anyway, Nerdsy, why doesn't your link work? I've been trying to go there but I couldn't.

Omar Harris
You've got to see it. I also agree that it could have been prolonged a bit but it was still a good episode. There were a lot of plot holes though: It is constantly mentioned that the Zeo rangers destroyed Mondo, when it was Zordon's wave that did so. How did everyone know everyone already, when there was no mention of it? Word of mouth probably? How did Tommy, Jason and TJ morph, when both Command Centers went sky high? And how'd Bulk get back to Earth? (We need more of him and Skull. That was a great touch to have them running a rec center this time.) And where's Rocky? He can't still be recuperating from a broken back after 5 years away. And if they could bring back The first 3 red's they could bring back red ninja ranger. Vengix was a cool villain. He reminded me of Chatsuramon and the Predacon version of Ravage from Beast Wars: All of them were ruthless, loyal to their master, and went down calling out their praises to their lords. (Zhuqioamon, the original Megatron, and Mondo respectively) *Spoiler for those you haven't seen it* I also like the quotes at then end: Cole: He really is the greatest ranger ever. (My sentiments exactly about Tommy) Everyone: lol TJ: I'm not so sure, after all I was the one who replaced him (Yeah for all of one season. It was great to have a change in status quo with a black leader, but I hate that it didn't last as long as all the other's time) Jason: And I was doing all the work while he was kissing Kimberly (Yeah and he always came and saved your butt in like every episode) Andros: I saved two worlds (Which ones? Didn't he save the universe?) Leo: I discovered a lost galaxy (No, Deviot sent you there; big difference) Eric: My Q-Rex'll eat his Dragonzord for breakfast (I agree there. Q-Rex kicked butt. Did you see that face Eric made? lol That was funny) Wes: I changed history (for the worst at first, that rhymes, but he did better.) TJ: Did I ever tell you how I got baked in a giant pizza (lol. Theodore J. Jarvis Johnson. lol. What Kinda name is that? ROTFL) And it was cool how some more personalities developed. Like when Jason kept calling Cole "rookie". I never knew he had that whole arrogant side to him. And Tommy was so mysterious, like some sort of FBI agent (MIB Agent T anyone?) And I like Aurico's playfulness when he's zipping around everywhere. When I saw the preview, I didn't see it too well,so I thought is was either Wes or Eric. I wonder why the Time Force Rangers don't didn't bend time so much like they did in Episode 2 where everyone was doing the Matrix. (my new word for the effect.) All in all, it was a great episode. They should have a ending to PR with a reunion with everyone. I've had an idea with a clone of Zordon as the villain for a very long time. *sigh* *End Spoiler*
