[i]Vampant Bat falls to the ground in pain.[/i] [color=darkblue][b]Chaotix:[/b]Take that Maverick.[/color] [b]Vampant Bat:[/b]You shouldn't have done that. [i]Vampant Bat grabs Chaotix and begin to drain him of his energy. After being mostly drained Chaotix breaks free and jumps to the nearest wall.[/i] [color=darkblue][b]Chaotix:[/b]Great attack but how do you handle this.[/color] [i]Chaotix knocks out all the lights with his energy star and dons his shadow cape. All of a sudden loud slashes are heard in the darkness and the lights come back on showing Vampant Bat Layingon the ground in pieces and Chaotix standing at the door.[/i] [color=darkblue][b]Chaotix:[/b]Zero I'm reporting back to the base to recharge I'll be back after that to help. Having Treble transform into his jet carrier mode, Bass lept on the dogs back and the two flew directly at the Island's main complex.The automated guns on the roof top begin to unload at Bass, while the ground based land to air missle system fires a number of anti-aircraft missles in his direction.[/i] Bass - [i]Smirking[/i] Alright Treble, lets take out those missle launchers first. [i]Dodging in and out of enemy fire, Bass changes his Buster configuration to Storm Tornado mode. He locks onto on of the many missle launchers and fires a concentrated tornado at the weapon, causing it to fire in the air, spewing missles randomly, a few of which end up hitting other missle launchers, and eventually crashing to the ground in a heep of junk.[/i] Bass - Man, this is all too easy! [i]Turning his attention towards the automated guns on the roof, he switches his Buster to Shotgun Ice. Aiming between sets of turrets, instead of directly at individual ones, Bass hits the complex walls with his initial shots, but as they hit, the ice shatters and the shards rip through the turrets. After only a few shots in such a manor, almost all of the turrets on the North side of the building where destroyed. The rest of the turrets and missle launchers on that end out the building, he took out with charged plasma shots.[/i] Bass - So much for the "Dangerous" Vile Island. ........................................................................................... *Inside* One - [i]Seeming to have just gotten a message[/i] Affermative, send out Flame Stage and Blast Hornet to deal with the situation. ........................................................................................... *Back Outside* [i]As Bass was about to contact Zero and hed back to the reinforcements drop ship, he noticed a hatch open up on the roof and 2 mavericks fly out with great speed.[/i] Bass - About time they sent me a challenge. A shield of ice formed in font of him, turning him into a sub-zero bulldozer. He was glad his head technician had suggested that he bug every inch of Vile Isle. He would have to remember to give him a raise? He typed a new command into the small screen on his command chair and watched Zero and three of his friends were being attacked by fifty of base six's Maverick warriors. He used his personal comm-link to talk to the unit commander who was fighting Zero and his friends: Vile: "Commander, I you to order ten of your troops to get as close as possible to Zero, then self destruct. Do you copy?" Commander #32: "Yes my Lord." Vile turned off his comm. Link and looked up at the map of Vile Isle, which was now covered in tiny dots that represented battles. He studied it carefully, it looked as if his opponents were going to try something unexpected, but what could it be? Vile: "Base computer, do you have any recordings from the minefield that Zero cleared?" Base Computer: "Yes, would you like to see them?" Vile: "Display them on my command chair." Vile read Zero's remarks about an impending subterranean attack. He groaned, and pressed a button on his command chair. Alarms went off all around his command room. Vile walked over to the main computer and told it to copy all its data to his troop carrier, and then set the base for self destruct, with a count down timer of three minutes. Vile then called for One and Two to come with him to his private lab. Together Vile and his guards walked into his private lab, which was now filled with technicians preparing to leave the base. He boarded his troop carrier and went to its command chamber, which was smaller but otherwise identical to his own. Vile then ordered twenty mavericks from each base to come onto the troop carrier. IC: ........Protoman finds a secret passageway that he assumes leads straight to Vile. He goes in and after many twists and turns he reaches an empty room. Voice: I have been waiting for you! Protoman: Who are you? Gutsman: I am Gutsman. I work for Vile! Protoman: Lets get this fight started then! Gustman runs up to Protoman and gives him a gut punch, leaving Protoman on the ground after falling from the ceiling. Once Protoman got back up, he shot Gutsman in the shoulder with his mech-cannon, busting off Gutsman's shoulder. Protoman: Where is Vile? Gutsman: I would rather have you destroy me before I tell you where he is!! Protoman: Fine, I will destroy you, then! Protoman fires his mech-cannon at Gutsman's left arm, completely knocking it off. Gutsman then tries to gut punch Protoman again. Protoman knows what Gutsman is doing this time, so he dodges it, but gets hit slightly on the arm, leaving minor damage to it. Protoman uses two of his e-chips, the one that increases his speed and the one that adds shoulder vulcans to him. He then races around Gutsman and shoots his shoulder vulcans and mech-cannon at Gutsman, directly hitting him. Protoman: Will you tell me, or do I have to finish you off? Vile: I will never tell you! Protoman fires the shoulder vulcans again and finishes him off for good. Protoman: Man, I did it again. I should have tortured him instead of finishing him off! Oh well. The base is going to blow. Zero:We're on our way. Rage:All right but hurry. I think its gonna blow so-*static* Zero:Rage! What s happening now. Rage looked down a his shattered radio, then up at the huge maverick before him. Lava Ox: Come on little guy, see if you can hurt me! Rage jumped and fired a couple buster shots at him but they barely effected his thick hide. Even a fully charged shot didn't hurt him much. Then he remembered his earlier battle and switched his buster to chameleon sting. He ran around back and shot lava ox right in the back. Tearing a large hole. Rage:Yes! I knew those spikes would pierce him. come on fat boy! Bring it on. Lava Ox:RRR...You'll regret that!!LAVA BEAM! He sent out a beam of heat that nearly melted rages arm when he jumped aside. Then Lava Ox charged at him and tackled him hard. But while rage was being tackled he put his hands on lava o's broken circuits and read their data. Little Voice in head:You learned Fiery Blade! Rage got up off the ground and pulled out his sword. He switch \ed his buster to fiery blade and used it to set his sword on fire. He charged at the ox and begin slashing rapidly in a few seconds the ox was lying in pieces on the ground. At that moment zero came running out. Zero:Come on lets go! Rage:right! He extinguished the flame and put his zsword away. Then they all got in the dropship and took off. They got away and vile's base exploded right behind them. Rage:Now what? Rex Mantis: OOOO! A big shot rookie huh? Well you can taste some Dino mines!!! Lidon: Listen Barney boy! I am not in a good mood right now and your gonna get your a** kicked! Lidon opened his arm panel and put in his Fly E-chip and his alpha buster E-chip. They were almost completed when Rex Mantis charged. Rex Mantis: I'll give you a Barney boy you incompetent fool!!!!! Lidon jumped in the air just as his wings activated. Lidon: Hey! Shouldn't you be purple and saying nice things like you love me or somethin'? Rex Mantis: Get down here you little bastard! Lidon: And here I thought you were supposed to be a star of a kids show! Man, it's no wonder they took you off of the air! Lidon activated the power-up to his buster sword and dived at Rex Mantis. He jabbed down, slashed left, then right. Rex Mantis: AAARRRGGGHHHH! You'll pa- All of a sudden Rex blew to pieces. Lidon: Whoa! Dr.Lights up grade to my buster sword kicks a**!!! Lidon turned on his comm. unit. Zero: You paged Lidon?(sounds of battle in the background) Lidon: Yea. Rex Mantis is done for. You gotta check out my new upgrade later! It kicks some major a**! Bass is barely able to dodge the attack and is thrown off ballance. Quickly regaining his compoiser, he turns around just in time to see FS flying at him again. FS fires two blazing balls of fire at Bass, but Bass is able to destroy them with his Buster. He than dodges out of the way of Flame Stag, this time catching him with a Shotgun Ice attack as he passes. The Shotgun Ice freezes FS and sends him crashing to the ground.[/i] Bass - One down, one to go. [i]Turning around, Bass finds himself under a barrage of small Bee like objects. He is able to dodge most of them, but one laches onto his left sholder and explodes, damaging his left amr to the point where it can't be used.[/i] Bass - Grrrrrrrrrrr, you'll pay for that! [i]Switching into Storm Tornado mode, Bass unleshes a small tornado on Blast Hornet. The metal bug is able tyo dodge out of the way of the first one, but in a mad rage, Bass fires off several more, catching BH and sending him crashing to the ground near Flame Stag. Treble lowers down to the two disabled Mavericks, letting Bass off on the ground.[/i] Blast Hornet - Please, don't kill us. Flame Stag - Yes, we promise to never committe evil again. Just, let us go! Bass - Somehow, I doubt that. [i]Bass reaches down an copies each of their powers, the small voice in his head saying: you got........ Parasitic Bomb! you got........ Speed Burner![/i] Bass - God, that gets annoying. [i]Bass then switches his Buster back to it's normal fireing style and destroys both Mavericks with a fully charged blast. However, Bass doesn't have any time to recover before Zero calls him on his radio.[/i] Zero - Bass, this is Zero, do you read? Bass - Copy that, this is Bass. Zero - Bass, we need to evacuate now. The Island is on selfdesruct. Bring your carrier to the drop point and pick us up. Bass - Alright. I'll be there. His sabre and his buster felt stronger, and his body gleamed silver instead of crimson. His leg armor, too, was silver, and his helmet gleamed in the light. Looking at Zero, X strolls to his brother in arms, wondering exactly what may be pulsating through his mind.[/i] [b]X:[/b] "Restless are we?" [b]Zero:[/b] "You would be too if you had as much to worry about as me....damnit...its hard X..." [b]X:[/b] "Heh, This I know Zero, dont let it get to you...we are a team...right?" When a final slash, he destroyed Magma Dragoon for the eighth time. He was getting a bit bored... He desided to get a systems scan to make sure nothing was wrong...
