Guest Kaizer_Boy
Online, there is a trick called "Pokerus." I don't get it. Is it for pokemon crystal only Because I only have Gold and crystal(Whic does not work.) Please someone tell me.
G/S/B Master
I think It's short for "pokemon virus".
Nerdsy
Pokerus is a very rare condition that raises your Pokèmon's power for a short time. It goes away after a few days, but you can keep it if you breed the infected Pokèmon. As far as I know, it's completely random, and there's not surefire way to get it.

The way that a Pokémon develops Pokérus is when it is traded. I've had this happen to me on more than one occasion, once with a Smoochum, and another time with a Machoke. When it evolved and I checked its stats, its condition said "Pokérus." I don't believe that it does anything to stats or HP, just some random thing the programmers put in.
Guest Kaizer_Boy
Hee,hee, hee. I have a friend(Nikkie) Who has all 250 pokemon. Half of them( 150) have the pokerus. But, she got it on Silver virson. Is it only on silver and crystal?
Kei
No, the Pokémon that were traded to me I received on Gold. It's on all three of the Johto series games.
Guest Kaizer_Boy
(Sarcasimly) Gee thanxs. Well, Nikki said that it was only in silver and crystal Virsions of pokemon. But she never lies about pokemon.
Kevin
It is a really wierd (sp?) virus for pokemon, it might raise there stats for a short time but it stayed on my pokemon. I used the gameshark code for it and it was really wierd (once agian sp?). Oh and it spreads to the other pokemon on your team.

My Smoochum did have Pokérus when my friend traded it to me on my Gold version, so it is on all three versions.

Anyways, yeah, it doesn't do much, but it was sorta like when the pokemon's poisoned.

Juu
Only my vaporeon. My mew didn't really do much.... anyways, it seems to be contagious. It caught on to my kadabra. But really, it's really nothing serious.
Na'dou
I had that on my game, I had used a game shark, but the Pokerus is suppose to make you're pokemon stronger. It didn't do anything as far as I'm concered. It's just something they had in there so when you went to check the stats it hand Pokerus instead on the original type, I think.
