Gavin
Hmm I was just wondering because when ever I wake up I seem to lose all memories of my dreams after the fist few seconds. The only dream I have ever been able to remember is that I am flying way above a city with a jet pack and a rocket launcher in my arm, blowing up cars and stuff.........weird huh
Sephiroth
I remember a few of my dreams, the longest one being a dream I had about 8 years ago, funny thing is that dream became true the next day.... I dreamt of moving this table in the dining room with my Aunt, I did so the very next day....
No-Name
I only remember the good ones mostly. There are 2 bad ones, but I only remember them because I keep having them.
Subversive
A dream technically at the most lasts like 3-5 secs. Its also very hard to remember dreams because there quick glitches in brain waves, and are created by a random assortment of thoughts you've stored in your brain... No-Name
actually i heard it was 30-50seconds at the most, not 3-5. But ya, u cant really remember all of your dreams because you have hundreds maybe even thousands each night.
Darkmoon
I remember some of my dreams but most of the time I forget them as soon as I wake up. I just remember if I liked the dream or not. My favorite was one were I was a little bat trying to get away from something. I remember haveing alot of trouble flying but in the end (a few second's before I woke up) I was able to fly high and glide... Have you ever noticed that it's always hard to run in a dream? It feels like your trying to run through quick sand.

Cloud_Strife
A couple of things... About the 30-50 seconds thing...that's both true and false. Dreams don't last that long they just switch ideas and thoughts then. That's why sometimes in a dream...you'll be running from the cops or something and then you run through some door in some strange alley and you find yourself in a party with the sexiest women in the world!! That's just your brain switching from thought to thought. And remembering dreams...well you have to wake up at the right time to remember them. But then usually after that you'll lose it and it'll just slip away. Usually the only ones you'll remember for a long period of time are the ones that affect and reflect you the most. It's weird. That's why you usually only remember the really good and really bad dreams. If you have some stupid random dream it'll probably slip away once you get out of bed. And Red...you said the one you remembered with a jet pack and the rocket launcher. You should have that annilyzed...because dreams are your deepest thoughts that you might not even know you have. I know I've had some about terrorists attacks when I was aroung because I hate em...so what's your deal!? LOL. You're probably just a pyro and you exaggerated it. But still pretty cool. Guest Morph
Well, yes I do, like Safer, I have also had dreams that are actually turn into a reality in the near/distance future. I've had some dreams that I remember and don't understand, but later on in the future, I understand...

Subversive
arrrrgh...the two extremes I rarely remember, but when I do I jot them down, they do seem to come true or have a meaning in the future. Maybe dreams are a lesson for the future from a higher calling...*hint,hint the Man Upstairs* :D
Ninjaman
I remember the dreams I want to remember. Because in my dreams I know it's a dream and I tell myself to pay attention and remember it. But, that's only when I find it interesting. I remember dreams that include events that I want to happen. Basically I dream my dreams! And yet I still remember some of the bad ones. Guest Matt
I remember every dream that wakes me up in a cold sweat. Other than that, I really don't remeber my dreams, unless they are very very good.
Juu
I remember only the 'good' dreams. In other words, some useful ones..... sometimes I imagine what the next day will be like. Usually at least one of the many events come true.... the others, go into my stories, rpg's, and manga....
Semjaza
I've never actually had a nightmare before. The oldest dream I can remember is from when I was about seven years old... Generally, I remember the dream totally when I wake up and nearly forget all of it within the next few minutes. I remember parts, and sometimes the basic plot of the dream... but that's it. I remember hearing that people cannot read in dreams, some don't see color and some cannot feel in dreams... I specifically remember reading things in dreams, mine are color and I feel what's going on. Dunno how most people are with all that. I do know, that if I have a weird dream, I wake up because of something I did. Like if I fall in my dream, my whole body like jumps and I wake up feeling like I was going to fall. I also had one where I was drowning... the scariest part about that was that I woke up and I couldn't see or take in any air for a few seconds. It freaked the hell out of me heh. PiroMunkie
I can recall my dreams sometimes. Usually only the ones that are 'psychi' though. Like I have them, and then it happens sometime later in life (like Seppy's dream :p). What was even more weird is that one time in third or fourth grade, I had a dream (that all black men and white men.... lol)... but yeah, I had a dream and it was all weird and stuff, so I told my friend about it, and then the day after that he came and told me he had the same dream, but just different. Like it was a continuation of mine. :drunk:
amibasuki
I almost always remember my dreams, had some pretty strange ones too (Anna and QA can back me up on that, lol). if I don't remember them when I wake up, I usually start remembering bits and pieces after I start moving around and then piece 'em all together. if I don't remember, I'll still know if it was a good or depressing dream by how I wake up, like if I want to smile and go back to sleep or if I want to shoot somebody in the head and go back to sleep. No-Name
when i say good dreams i mean the ones when you wake up you wish had never stopped. Whether your sky-diving, a secret agent, or enjoying an evening with that special someone, you don't want it to end. Note: the sky diving dream is just a personal fav, not all ppl like them.
