Ninjaman
The newest Breath of Fire to the series. I was looking at the screenshots and saw a huge change. The game is in total 3D, which is diffferent from the other games in the series. And apparently, it looks like the battle system is going to be different. IMO, it looks like BoF is going under some changes. Whether it's a good thing or not depends on the players. Although I was a bit turned off by looks, I'm still going to get this game because Breath of Fire is one of my favorite series and I'm sure it won't let me down(as long as they still have the dragon system). What does everyone else think?
RicoTranzrig
Breath of Fire is one of my personal favorites too...the original being the epitome of them all. I liked how IV expanded on the graphics a little, but does it always have to be Ryu and Nina?
Charles
Heh, once again it appears that Ryu and Nina will star in the newest Breath of Fire, lol. Ryu is a security officer in the underground city of Shelter, part of the elite police faction Ranger. As for Nina, she's quieter than Ryu, but sports some neat red wings on her back. That reminds me of Millenia from Grandia 2, lol. The visuals appear to be eyecatching. I've seen many complain over the presentation, marking it off as poor, but there's definitely some potential. My major gripe is that cel-shading is being implemented in yet another game. This style is quickly being overdone. Moving on to matters of more importance, the quality of the battle system will definitely factor into this game's success. From what I've read, combos will be special attacks requiring the use of AP. Different button combinations can be used to execute Combos, presumably for each character. I'm not looking forward to this game much though, as I've never been a fan of the series for some strange reason.
