[color=indigo]It looks pretty good. I might see it, I might not. Just the semi-common plot of needing a bad guy to be the good guy to beat the real bad guy. Like in that one movie with Sylvester Stallone... Demolition Man, I think..[/color]

Something about this movie just looks really stupid to me. Maybe it's the whole concept behind it. Looks like a good mindless action movie though. Am I the only one that thinks Vin Diesel looks like a caveman?

Oh, it comes out on my b-day haha. I guess that's a plus.

I just love that part in the commercials where he says,

Vin Diesal didn't dissapoint me with Pitch Black and Fast and the Furious so hopefully nothing changes. Looks interesting, how long you been a spy?

It looks like it might be alright, but that remains to be seen. Every time we see the sign on a billboard, my mom's always thinking "Why are they advertising something like that?", and I just start laughing to myself.

[color=red]If this movie's better than Signs I would see it. But that isn't going to happen now is it :nono:? All it looks like to me is a modern version of James Bond. Although this sounds inventive, I doubt that it will be. Mindless action movies just aren't my style. It has to have more of a plot than [i]good guy saves the world from bad guy[/i]. So no I am very so not going to see this movie.[/color]

[color=deeppink]I hate to sound like a total girl, but I think that Vin Diesel is [i]incredibly[/i] good looking (and that VOICE!), and I'll admit that he's one of the reasons I want to see that movie.

[color=indigo]Well one of my friends invited me to go see it last night. It was quite an adventure just waiting before the movie, lol. My mom is gone and bringing me home dinner. My friend invites me to the movie. I accept, but my mom's not home yet, and I'm hungry. My friend leaves on his way to pick me up. I quickly get offline and call my mom to see where she is. The phone rings, and then I hear the garage door opening. My mom has just pulled into the driveway. She gets upstairs, I eat about half of my fries and my friend arrives. His truck is [i]really[/i] running on empty. I eat dinner in his truck on the way to the movie (we coasted most of the way there to conserve gas). We get there, and as it usually always is.. we're the only non-preppy people there, lol (not that that has anything to do with anything, it's just an observation we made). We wait around 20 minutes outside for these people we were supposed to be meeting. They come. They had previously bought the tickets and we just had to pay them back. Yes, they [i]did[/i] have the right tickets, but they [i]didn't[/i] have the right time. The time they had the movie has started two minutes before we noticed the times on the tickets were wrong. There was big discussing. I, obviously being the only sensible person there, knew that we would have only missed a few previews and we all walked into the movie... People these days. :whoops:

Anyway, the movie was a really good action flick. A little predictable at times, but other than that I liked it. It had its humor and it was loaded with action. The action sequences are great. The acting is good, nothing too unbelievable about anything. Rammstein fans will enjoy the opening scene (I know I did). In short it was pretty much, probably a little more, what I expected. I wasn't disappointed at all. They even mentioned the Vandals in the movie... and I bet I was the only one in the theatre who even knew who the Vandals were. I do reccomend the movie. :)


[edit] I forgot to mention, my friend and I found it funny how much they advertise in that movie, lol. When nothing big and flashy is happening you'll be sure to see brand names everywhere. :p[/color]

Yeah, and brands basically equals just Playstation. He says "Think Playstation" a bunch of time in the movie, and I just found that really idiotic. There is also a scene where he sits by a computer monitor that is showing an image of the PS2 game Kinetica the entire time. It's all pretty blatant.

It was alright. Nothing amazing. I'm still trying to figure out why some critic is quoted on the commercial as saying "move over James Bond." It can't even compare.

Decent mindless action movie though.

I wanna see it, but I'll have to wait. I'm seeing AP3 on Tuesday and I can only afford one.
