RPG MegaMan Zero: Reawakening[RPG]

[color=crimson]OOC:Hey. Didn't want too many people to clog this thing up, so I kept it down. Members of this Rpg are: Me, Mstyrios WX, Schratn9, Final_Flash, and Ykonis. Note that most villains will be resurrected Mavericks or Robot Masters, and that the surprise character will indeed be well known by most MegaMan fans.

[i]The smoke cleared, and before Ciel stood the legendary hero of the year 2179, Zero Mavericke. He towered over his enemies, firing his Z-gun into them mercilessly. He led Ciel to an area unguarded by the robot Guardians and Spyders, and she stopped him. She wanted to talk.[/i]

[b]Ciel:[/b]Umm....you're Zero Mavericke, aren't you?

[b]Zero:[/b]........

[b]Ciel: (to self)[/b]Dammit, I just had to resurrect this guy by accident.

[b]Zero:[/b]I heard that. And yes, I am.

[b]Ciel:[/b]What happened? Why did you seal yourself away?

[b]Zero:[/b]To remove all strains of Maverick data from my program. It worked.

[b]Ciel:[/b]Thank Go-AHH!!!!!!!

[i]The floor gave way, and Zero dashed into the area where it had been just before Ciel fell to her death. Zero landed on his feet with her in his arms, hers wrapped around his neck. Zero got an odd feeling from this close contact, but he shook it off as nausea after having been awakened. He raced forward with Ciel....

The flashback ended, and Zero stood in his jeans and shirt, staring out into the ruined city. He now led a small group of freedom fighters that hid for the most part in the ruins of Robotropolis, a once noble city.He looked back to the sleeping Ciel, aching to be in her arms, but he shook it off again, knowing a scientist would never accept a warrior. Suddenly, an alarm blared, waking her from her deep slumber. She had been dreaming of Zero getting destroyed at the hands of a large, evil reploid with a red gem in his forehead.She screamed aloud, not knowing who was in the room. Zero stopped and decided not to let her know he was there, so he jumped out the window and grabbed his sabre. He did all this for no reason, as the alarm wasn't the warning alarm. It was simply Ciel's bedside alarm. When Zero got into the briefing room, he found four of his soldiers sleeping or heading to the kitchens.[/i][/color]

Lidono say Zero walk into the hallway and decided to talk with him.

Lidono: Hey Zero. How's it hanging?

Zero: I'm alright, pissy but alright.

Lidono: I hear ya Zero. When am I gonna see some action. I'm getting bored staying here all the time.

Zero: All in good time my friend, all in good time.

Lidono: What was my grandfather like? I mean, I never knew him but my dad told me he served with you.

Zero: ........He was a good warrior. Loyal. Honest and willing to do what it takes to reach the goal even if it meant life or death.

Lidono:............Oh. Well, I'll see ya around Zero.

Lidono ran to the training room and put his armor on. He needed to think about some things. He powered up his buster and got his beam-sabre out. He really needed to think about things.

[Schrat]

[size=1] Awaiting in the breifing room was second in command of the freedom fighters, Ion. Zero walked in...

Zero: Ion, whats going on.

Ion: Not sure. I saw some movement on the radar but its most likely just some loose Robot.

Zero: In this day and age I would doubt it. Check up on it.

Ion: Sure.

Ion types a few things in on the main computer and the camera zooms in to a shadowy figure on the outer rim of the city.

Ion: Should we....

Zero: No, we dont have enough......

Ion: We can take that thing, we dont even know if its evil.....[/size]

[i][color=crimson]Zero decided to go for a jog in the desert, so he hyped up the Trance hyperlink machine and teleported to the Outer Rim, running towards some ruins. As he ran, he decided to check out the ruins of what looked like a laboratory. Inside, he found destroyed computers, file cabinets, and other such stuff. Suddenly, as he walked over to a blinking console, he tripped over a trap door. He opened the door, walked down the staris it had hidden, and founs something extremely odd...[/i]

[b]Zero:[/b]What the hell is this place. It's like a bomb shelter or something. But it looks familiar. A lab coat...the ID is dusty. It says Dr. Thomas Light. Wow. Sounds like I should,,,wait! Thomas Light is the scientist that built Rockman and X!

[i]He noticed a capsule glowing in the corner, and inside was....Dr. Thomas Light. Zero released the seal on the capsule, allowing the good doctor to breathe and speak once again.[/i]

[b]Light:[/b]Ah. Thank you, Zero. And yes, I do know who you are. You see, in that capsule, I was linked to all computers. I found the Maverick Hunter HQ and learned about you and X. It pleases me to know that X chose the right path in life. Oh, and do you like your new design? I knew how muck you liked your hair, so I let you keep it, but I changed your armor while I was in the capsule, using a specially designed program. Don't just stand there! Help me move this capsule. I made more reploids than just X! There are a total of 3. Roll, X, and Bass. Roll and Bass are here, and Wily made you as an upgrade to Blues, though Blues was on Rockman's side, not his. As for X....I am afraid he is no longer in this plane. He lives on in comuters, and he has many a spare body, but.....he does not wish to fight.

[b]Zero:[/b]Well, let's get Roll and Bass outta here. And nice look for a reploid doctor. You remind me of Doppler....

[i]He and Light began to move Roll and Bass out of the desert without reactivating them, as the sudden jolt of awakening might cause permanent erasure. Just as they were hooked up to be released, Neo Arcadia attacked!...[/i][/color]

[size=1]Ciel walked into the breifing room and sat down next to Ion. Out of no where the alarm sound and Ion turned to his computer. He zoomed into Zero and saw him standiong infront of a reploid.

Ciel: What! Who are they?

Ion: Not sure. But he looks like he could use some help.

Ion zoomed in again and saw Neo Arcadia attacking them.

Ion: Stay here, Im going to help.

Ion hit the switch to open the roof of the base. He opened his wings and flew into the air and over the city.

Ciel: But Ion........

[Flash]

[I]Flash aimed his Cannon, and continued to fire, without mercy, without focus. He had sensed her--Roll. She was somewhere there, under the desert. Perhaps it was insanity, or the years corrupting his circutry. Or both. But then again, maybe this was the real thing. Flash was scared, and at the same time, estatic. Emotions ran through him. Emotion--Something that didn't come naturally--A mere flaw in his programming.

A barrage of energy slammed into the the Sandy desert. Little did Flash know that the below the wasteland lay the Resistance base. He felt Roll's CPU nearby, and was willing to go to any means to get her. It had been more than a hundred years ago since they were last together.

Flash watched as his Buster fire shattered through an underground bunker wall. A massive grin spread across his face, and he fell from the sky. Two chrome angelic wings fold into his back, tucking behind his Trenchcoat. He lands in the lab, coming face to face with a Reploid Dr. Light, and an all too familiar face... Flash cocks his head to the side, and squints, before uttering his name...[/I]

[B]Flash:[/B] Zero..?

[B]Zero:[/B] A Neo-Arcadian maverick. I'll take him down.

[B]Flash:[/B] Zero...

[I]Flash looked behind Zero, seeing the deactivated Bass and Roll lying on the floor. His eyes widened, then focused back on Zero. There was a deep anger in them now, like wildfire. Flash reached down to his belt and grabbed his Sabre.[/I]

[B]Flash:[/B] You've killed them...

[B]Zero:[/B] What are you talking about? Doctor, stay back, this one's insane. I'm sure enforcements will arrive soon. Not that I'll need them.

[B]Flash:[/B] Argh! I'll kill you, Zero! I've waited [I]centuries[/I] for this!

[I]Flash turned his sabre on, and lunged at Zero, who responded with a blocking blow from his MechaStaff. As they exchanged blows, Zero slowly began to remember... The fighting style, the appearance, the need for revenge...[/I]

[B]Zero:[/B] ...Flash...

[B]Flash:[/B] You remember me now, eh? That won't save you, traitor.

[I]Flash quickly sheathed his sabre, and pulled his MechaScythe out from over his shoulder, with one fluid motion... In an instant, he spun the Scythe around, slashing Zero's staff clean in two, ride across the centre... Flash smacked the back side of the scythe into Zero's face, and pressed him up against a wall with it. He pushed hard, crushing Zero at the neck.[/I]

[B]Zero:[/B] Flash... Please... There's... Neo-Arcadia... attacking...

[B]Flash:[/B] That was no Neo-Arcadia attack you sensed. It was me, burrowing in here. You killed Roll, my lover, and Bass, my brother. I can imagine you were going to make short work of the Doctor as well. Well I won't let you! Last words, Zero?

Don't get me wrong, Flash is in no way a bad guy. He just got the wrong impression. Hopefully you all share my affection for little... twists like this? :whoops:

[color=crimson][i]Zero grabbed the Z-gun from his back holster, aiming it right into Flash's ribs. Suddenly, Dr. Light began activating Bass and Roll....[/i]

[b]Roll:[/b]Fl...Flash?

[b]Bass:[/b]Bro...ther?

[i]Zero pulled the blaster away, looking into Flash's eyes. He aimed the charged shot at a button on the wall, resealing all passages that Flash had opened. He spoke directly to Flash as he let him go to embrace his love.[/i]

[b]Zero:[/b]You see! I killed her under the influence of the Mavericke Virus, and now I am resurrecting her as reconciliation. Damnit, how do you think I feel about X's death?

[i]With that, Zero collapsed to the ground, tear streaks once again staining his cheeks. Ciel walked in, saw Zero's pain, and dropped the tray of E-capsule upgrades for him. She took him in her arms, cradling him in her arms. She felt him shudder as he realized his position, and she looked into his eyes. He pulled her closer, and she moved closer willingly. As their lips met, the alarm went off, but Zero did not care. As he pulled away, he slipped something into Ciel's hand as he stood up and gripped his sabre, heading out to destroy the Asute Falcon, an airship that threatened the compound. As he walked away, Ciel opened her hand,and inside was a single diamond ring.....[/i][/color]

Ion: Dr........Light? Zero!

He saw Flash standing there along with two familiar bots. He didnt recognize flash, but he saw a cannon in his right arm, and he knew this one was behind all this.

Flash aimed his cannon at Ion. Ion jumped into the air flying down witha firey kick to Flash's head.

but Flash got up.......Ion turned on his com device on his right wrist, yelling back to the base.

[color=crimson][i]Zero dashed onto a hovbike and flew at the airship, prepared to battle to the death. However, a thought crossed his mind, a thought involving Ciel. He clenched his teeth and jumped off of the hovbike, landing on the Halberd Carrier, home to the Asute Falcon. He dashed forward, into a corridor filled with Guards and Spyders, and he knew he'd need help. His comlink was busted, so he had to get a signal out manually, but how....?[/i][/color]

[B]Flash:[/B] Roll... But I thought you were killed... All those years ago... And Bass... I saw you blown to pieces by the Red robot, Zero. How is it possible that you're both here now?

[I]Flash, Roll, and Bass sat around a table in in the mess hall of the resistance base. Flash didn't care whether or not he was welcome here, it was just a place for him to stay for now. After a silence, Roll spoke.[/I]

[B]Roll:[/B] My body was beyond repair, yes, but my CPU was only suspended. I was found--By Bass nonetheless, and taken back to Dr. Light.

[B]Flash:[/B] He survived?

[B]Bass:[/B] Not entirely. You see, Dr. Light's body died, but his conciousness was transferred into a robotic body.

[B]Flash:[/B] I see. What about you?

[B]Bass:[/B] Well, we scavenged around the lab, and Dr. Light made a temporary casing for me. We found Wily's lab a few years later... I was able to find the plans for my basic chasis, and we built it from scratch.

[B]Flash:[/B] So you were here all this time? Why didn't you contact me?

[B]Roll:[/B] We couldn't--We were encountered by Sigma.

[B]Flash:[/B] Dear lord...

[B]Bass:[/B] We held him off for the most part... But we were all heavily damaged... And he buried us in here...

[B]Roll:[/B] Dr. Light managed to turn these upgrade pods into Repair pods, all with one arm... He put us in them, and turned them on. We've been there ever since, the pods constantly monitoring us and keeping our vitals level...

[B]Flash:[/B] Then... Why did I only sense your CPU now, Roll?

[B]Roll:[/B] That I can't explain...

[Ryo the Tamer]

Crimson Fighter:Wh...where am I? This place...I've never seen it before.

[I]Not knowing where or when he was, this Crimson Fighter walked in the direction that he thought right[/I]

Crimson Fighter:Can't...go on...much longer...there has to be someplace out here....thats friendly.

[I]He kept on walking not knowing where he would end up[/I]

[color=crimson]OOC:Watch out, Ryo. You probably know that Zero is often called the crimson warrior, too. BTW, WELCOME!

He placed his buster-arm on the remaining buster of the last Guard, memorizing the data on the communications disc-sat. He rushed to the comms station, dialing he set-in for the comms of every reploid within eight miles.[/i]

[b]Zero:[/b]This is resistance leader Zero calling for back up. Repeat, Crimson Warrior is aboard the Halberd Carrier and is in need of assistance. My comm-link is broken and I am heavily outnumbered. All reploids within broadcast range, please assist Reploid Renegade resistance unit Alpha! Repeat, help the resistance base! Renegade base, please send assistance. Zero out![/color]

CF:Ugh...My..head. Can't remember..anything. Hmm, that cave looks like it will be good shelter till I can move better.

[I]He sat down in the cave before he fell into what was thought to be sleep, and he dreamed[/I]

CF:What is this?

Voice:You are simply dreaming, but what I tell you is real, your name shall now be...Ryo Crimson. You don't belong here. You were transported here from---

CF:WHERE!!!

[I]He awoke from his dream angry, and confused. He decided just to stay there for a while, to ponder on his dream.[/I]

[i] Ion walked up to Dr. Light who was sitting in his room.

Ion: Dr. Light I must have a word with you...

Dr Light: Sure Ion, and might I say I am pleased with your work here.

Ion: You know what this is about, im made of scrapes!

Dr Light: Well before X and Zero's battle there was nothing...

Ion: It was completed, I know it!

Dr Light: Ion, no...Its too dangerious, that model it was to...

Ion: To perfect!

Dr Light: No Ion, it was imperfect. To much power is a bad thing!

All of a sudden the alarm sounds

Ion dashes out the door, only turning back to say one thing

[color=crimson][i]Zero threw the comm link down in disgust, shaking his head. No answer had come. He moved onto the bridge, wrecking the weapons and navigational systems. Just as he coordinated the Halberd to land in a molten lake of steel at a foundry, a large needle-arrow shot into the wall next to his head. Zero whipped around to see the glaring face of Asute Falcon. No words were spoken as Zero dashed forward, pulling out his Boomerang Shield. He activated the laser edge-blade and threw the weapon, severing Falcon's wing. Falcon fired a needle shot into Zero's shoulder, pinning him to a wall. Zero gripped his MechaStaff, hiding it cleverly. He pressed a single button on the weapon's handle, causing it to extend. Asute did not notice as he dashed at Zero, needle-arrow at the ready. Suddenly, Zero pressed the button again and again, and Asute did not have enough time to scream as his core shut down. Zero pulled himself from the wall and grabbed Asute's needle-buster. He copied the program's power into his Z-gun, once again feeling the surge of victory...[/color][/i]

[color=crimson][i]Zero dashed from the Halberd, staring into space. He landed close to some ruins, and he slowly walked inside. He found a cave-like crevasse and walked inside. He found a red reploid inside it, and he slept next to the figure, hoping not to wake him. Zero dreamt of his past betrayals and woke in a sweat, the red reploid still asleep. Zero shook himself and decided to stay until the reploid woke up...[/i][/color]

[I]Ryo Crimson woke up, stood up, and stretched. He looked around and noticed a red reploid in the cave[/I]

RC(thinking):who is that? He doesn't look familiar. I wonder where he came from, he looks like he was in a battle. He looks pretty strong, I wonder who he came out here to fight, he must have killed. I hope he doesn't try to kill me, I don't know how to use my sword.

OOC:his personality for anyone who uses him in there post, doesn't like killing, acts crazy, but he is actually trying to hide his feelings of pain and sadness. Is nice to anybody, doesn't remember how to fight, yet. Thats all I can think of right now.

[i][color=crimson]Zero stared at Ryo, unknowing of anything. He held out his hand cautiously, and smiled when Ryo took it. Zero led Ryo to the Renegade base, hoping to see Ciel. As they walked in, Ciel rushed into Zero's arms, thankful he was alive. Ryo walked into the lunchroom, hoping to get some food. Zero and Ciel walked into their room, Zero stripping off his armor for his jeans and longsleeve shirt. He kept his sabre strapped ro his belt, though, expecting a familiar visitor...[/color][/i]

Crimson was walking around and, while he walked not knowing where he was going, he thought about something.

RC(thinking): I wonder what this place is. I mean even though I have no memory of myself I would at least like to find out what this place is, and who these people are. And what was that dream about? Why can't I remember anything? So many questions...

Voice: And no one here to give ou the answers...

RC(thinking): What? How can you hear my thoughts, and who are you?!

Voice: You forgot more than expected, Shiro, you couldn't even recognize my voice or your fake name from your real one.

RC(thinking): What are you talking about?!

Voice: Well, Shiro Yoki, why can't you remember the name of your enemy? Remember me? I was Strike, the smartest man and strongest bio-android alive, untill you came and destryoed me. You even forgot Zero, of course he also believes he never knew you.

RC(thinking): Now your not making any sense. I never knew a man named Strike or this Zero. And if you were my enemy why are you helping me?

Strike: Well, I can tell you more, but I'll just keep you thinking while I wonder what to tell you next. Oh, and about Zero, everyone you met has forgotten you except me, it's kind of in your "programing". Later, Shiro.

RC: ... What's happening to me? Am I hallucinating? Is this real? There I fo asking more questions. I'll just go find this Zero.

[i]Zero saw the "familiar visitor" he spoke of. He pulled out his sabre, staring at the insane, charging form of Sigma. The reploid Maverick leader had somehow resurrected AGAIN, and rose to become the leader of Neo-Arcadia. He smiled grimly, drawing his Z-sabre.[/i][/color]
