Gavin
Now correct me if I'm wrong but the head Namek during the Frieza Saga (can't remember his name) created the first dragon but it seems that nevery dragon since has been vastly more powerful that the original Porunga why is that
Domon
I'm guessing because when the original Namek was destroyed the old Namekian Dragon Balls were destroyed and whoever created the new Namekian Eternal Dragon made it more powerful. Just like Dende did with the Earth's Eternal Dragon. Cause when Kame joined with Piccolo the old Dragon Balls dissappered. But when Dende became Earth's new guardian he created new dragon balls. And this time the new Dragon Balls give you 2 wishes, I think.
Chaos
Actually, the Namekian dragon is the most powerful, as it is the original. He can grant three wishes, and restore life as many times as he sees fit. The other dragons cannot.
Impact Player
True, the Namekian Dragon Balls are powerful and can restore life aslongest it's not a natrual cause(ex. Heart Attack, age, etc.). The Dragon Balls on earth were not that powerful, they could restore life only 2 time and must not be a natrual cause. Kami had the power to make the Dragon Balls but they weren't as strong as Guru, but when Kami and Piccolo fused together and brought Dende to be the new gardian he knew how to make the Dragon Balls more powerful becuase he spent sometime with Guru. Chaos
Pretty much it, except one little thing to clear up so some dubbies won't get confused... Dende's dragon could grant two wishes; Kami's could not.
Dragonstar
:D The power of the drgon is connected to the power of the guardian, so if the guardians get more powerful.... Also, when the namek died, he passed the dragonballs on, or at least it looked like he did, so they weren't destroyed. Correct me if I'm wrong.:D
Gavin
Wait hang on now I'm tlaking about all five differant sets Namekian Old/ Guru's Namekian New/ Dunno Earth Old/ Kami Earth New/ Dende Black Star/ Kami Out of all these the Blasck star are vastly more powerful and if Guru created the first shouldn't they have been the strongest

Sanek
As long as the original gaurdian passes the dragonballs to someone else it is the same such as guru and the other guy...Kami created the black star fused with piccolo before db. BTW-gt was NOT made by or had anything to do with Toriyama. He just did the character designs.
Manic Webb
Puronga has always been more powerful than Shenlong. The second Puronga (passed on by Shouchiro/Guru) was more powerful than the first Puronga (when Shouchiro/Guru was alive.) One thing has always puzzled me... why did Kami's dragon balls disappear when he fused with Piccolo? Kami and Piccolo were practically the same person (okay, so Piccolo was more like his son. whatever). Couldn't Piccolo have just revived the balls like Dende did? He should know how, since he has all of Kami's knowledge and powers (and then some) after the fusion. And... let's not count the Black Star balls from DBGT. In my opinion, Grand Tour is nothing but "the ultimate Dragonball fan fiction."

Darkened Skye
DBGT is an official series and a fanfic at the same time. It's a fanfic in the fact that Toriyama didn't make it, it's a series in the fact that FUNImation did. Remember, as long as Toriyama or FUNImation gives it the OK, it's an official series. Like the Star Trek books.

Marron347
i am a little confused. if porunga could bring someone back to life, wouldn't guru have been able to do that too?If he coould do that then why didn't he just bring piccolo to Namek himself during the freiza saga instead of making gohan and kirillin find all seven dragonballs? Darkened Skye
Toei does DBZ too? Wow. What DON'T they do? They've done Digimon and DBZ and Transformers...gods below, that's a lot.

It has always been my explanation for that question, that the Dragon is pretty much all-knowing and ever wise. It is going to know how to do things that it's creator can't, but the things it can do are still within the creators power. The creator just doesn't know how to do it. If you go back to the Saiya-jin Saga when they tried to wish the Saiya-jins on their way to Earth dead, the Dragon couldn't do it. He couldn't do it it because Kami could not have been able to defeat Nappa or Vegeta, thus neither could the Dragon. So in my reason, the Dragon can do things the creator can't simply because the Dragon knows how to do them. :whoops:
Darkened Skye
Of course, if Kami and Piccolo had still been together, then they could have done it. Anyway, no one's awnsered my question here, so I posted it instead in the Immortality topic and I am now going to go and edit the question out of this topic. Depending it's even here. I hate my memory...
Shadow Night
Right just curious, when the planet earth is destroyed by buu its wished back. Dosent this exede the dragons power? or is it in fact whether the maker could do it over a period of time? for example a house is destroyed and is wished back is the dragon able to do this because given enough time Kami (or whoever the guardian is) could do this?
