Yes yes... very soon... :blowingup :all:

That's the first remix I've ever heard (Long story, don't ask), and I was like whoa, so that's a remix... cool.

I found the remixed "One Step Closer" best.

I am not really interested in Linkin Park in general... but I remember hearing about this CD at Seems Like Salvation because Manson was providing a remix for it. I lost all interest in the CD once I learned it wouldn't be included on the LP. It's on the single though, which I plan on buying.

My friend tells me it's a great remix CD though. He made it sound like vocals and things were completely different. Is this true?

Though I've only heard the Runaway remix, I plan on buying the CD, I always have. From the second I saw the Gundam on the TV commercial, I knew I was going to get the CD. I'll probably have it burned for me. I only have to pay 2 dollars for it. :p Linkin Park has been my favorite band since I first heard "Crawling". Really good music to vibe to when your depressed.

I had to pull a few favors with my good buddy Char!.
He went to Blockbuster, or Bestbuy (I can't remember which), when there was a sale on them. 10 bucks each. I asked him if he would buy me a copy. He said sure and I said I would pay him back.
I came into some tickets for a certain event recently and I offered to sell him a ticket if he paid me back. He said he would just take the price off of the CD.

Now, I don't want to jump on the Linkin Park bandwaggon like the majority of America has, but I like Linkin Park because their music is unique and not because everyone else does.... now anyway, Linkin Park's new "album" Reanimation was released July 30th and I must say this is a weird step for them.

Not everyday do you hear of a rock band making remixes... and Linkin Park is probably not what is considered the typical rock band though.

Anyway, has anyone heard this album yet or picked it up or anything? I am a huge fan of remixes. I love remixes and coming from a fan who loves Trance music, I hear TONS of them. An interesting twist on alot of songs. Kinda goes hand in hand with Crystal Methods new remix album released recently. Which had a remix of POD I'm sure you've all probaby heard. A nice direction for music to head in. Deffinantly adding a little something more to America's semi-bland music industry.

Not to mention this album has what looks like a Gundam on the cover. I hate gundam, but thats kinda cool.

There is already a thread for Linkin Park: Reanimation Transitic.

But in responce to your question, i have only heard a few of their songs on the remix CD. From what I have heard, though, they are great. I love the original CD and will most likely love this one as well.
And your right... It does look like a Gundam. :D

Well, the chorus for "In The End" sounds different, but isn't. Cool. The lyrics for "Run Away" have been subtly tweaked, which is real awesome.

"Points of Authority" turned out real nice too, by the way. :)

I see that now. I didn't before because I was looking for threads with the title "Linkin Park" and since this is just called Reanimation, I just skimmed right over it. And thanks BG

Yeah they changed tempos throughout the whole mix or various songs. Thats how remixes are done typically. Hmm, however, are you sure the lyrics for In the End are the same from the original to this, might I add CRAPPY, version of it on the remix CD.

Are you all kidding me ... the cd sucks!! linkin park didn't turn into rap ... nope .. they turned into pop!! 0_0 (Listen to In The End Remix)

I only like the By Myself Remix, the rest sucks!!!
Ok, you must be smoking crack. In the End remix is nothing but pure hip hop. It's not pop at all. And as far as your theory goes, what friggin American rock band hasn't turned into pop in the last 5 years? America is so messed up on their labels EVERYTHING goes from one thing to another in a matter of days. I understand people like groups to stay with their roots, but guess what? They normally don't. I thought some of you would be able to figure that out on your own, but I guess it's to difficult for the simple minded, ignorant America.

There are plenty of rock bands that have changed their style over time, but usually it's about progressing... not some lame attempt to change and become popular. Sure, it might be like that if all you are familiar with is played on the radio. But with most of what I listen to, that's rarely happened. And if it does, it generally adds to their sound... not radically changes it.

Well ... I used to be a linkin park fan ... (before they went to MTV) ... ehh ... well ... i'll give them a chance to improve in their " newer cd " and hopefully it will have new songs. :D

Either that I can stick with metal or punk ...

Even Trance (real Trance ;))
