JCBaggee
No, literally, just saw it...like 30 minutes ago. Must say, impressive. The plot was a little confusing at times, and I'm sure I lost something in the dub process(I taped it off of Action Channel last night), but still, a very deep, emotional anime, and I'd recommend it for anyone... --JC
spike speigel
Yes this is a great movie. I totally agree
Def_Kun
Lots of blood and gore. Great fight scenes. Sadly, there just wasn't enough time allotted to the whole thing. If you want to know what X really is, read the manga or watch the series. The movie just seemed like one big teaser.
Shy
The storline if "X" is a great thing, but because of how short the movie is there isn't enough time to cover all of it. The animation is superb, and it has one of the better english dubs. I highly reccomend the movie to fans of a good action movie, even those who are new to anime. I believe that there is a tv series based off of "X" but I haven't seen any of it...
Sensei-San
Yep, gores galore! I recently had the opportunity to see this popular anime import in my friend's house. X was originally released in Japan in 1996, meaning it's quite old, lol. It is just so typical though, seeing as Kamui is "the chosen one", and that Fuma is his mystical counterpart. X has all the elements you've come to expect from anime, from character emotions to gore. One thing I didn't really like was the X's anti-climatic battle sequences, they were quite poor. I never had the chance to read the Manga, somebody beat me to it. What was it like Def_Kun? The only thing which I don't get about X, even to this day, is what "X" stands for. SephirothNIN
I thought X was a pretty good movie, but I hated how Fuma just....became evil for no reason. Just because that bozo sister of....the...whatever the other dreamwatcher, told him that he was Kamui's counterpart and he had to destroy mankind he was confused at first, and then just said "okelly dokelly" and that was that, wtf is wrong with him? grrrrr. The battles between the dragons of heaven and earth were good too, but it seems the heaven dragons got the crap beat out of them, and if the earth dragons die who cares, every time one of them die there goes another power barrier, u think they'd think a bit more before going into battle. Def_Kun
Haven't really read the manga. Just saw some shots of it. But some of my friends have read it and they say it was totally different from the movie and anime. :) I did see the series though. It's quite different from the movie. The storyline didn't follow that of the movie. For one thing it was wayyyyyyy better. More character development, more fight scenes plus a much more complex storyline that would surprise almost anyone.

In a Manga, you can read with different moods, meaning that you defy the way the characters speak, whether you want them to be big and angry, or small and feeble. I for one don't really read Mangas, but it sounds like this one could get me started. Thanks. :)
wrist cutter
The best part of that movie is the ending theme by (you guessed it!) X. And the band X (known as X JAPAN sometimes) came way before the anime was even thought of, just to make sure you know.
