Juu
Well... this happens to me all the time. Since I've been moving to different cities/states/countries, since I was three..... I have alot of those moments. But most revolve around music. Some of the older, music (like that titanic song.. *shudders*makes me remember a refreshing breeze in Denmark... And 'a thousand miles' by vanessa carlton, makes me think of all my best friends, mom, and scenery that I had grown used to in Galveston... since the song was played over..and over in Galveston.... It sometimes makes me cry because of all the people I miss... So, to sum it up... Yes I have alot of those moments.

PiroMunkie
Whenever I listen to the Mighty Mighty Bosstones or the Offspring reminds me of our long since last seen on this board member Topaz. The Bosstones because it was part of her email address, but it was just MMB and it took me forever to figure out that's what it meant, and the Offspring because that is/was her favorite band and I share the same birthday as Noodles, which coincidentally also happened to be her favorite member of the band. A lot of good memories there. Whenever I see a hamster I always thing of my first pet, that I had to myself. Indeed it was a hamster, if you haven't already guessed, by the name of Furball ( RIP ). Whenever I see something about myself I also get reminded of how much of a loser I am, lol. :whoops:
Sara
Most of the memories I've been relishing lately are pretty recent... Last summer and fall.... I'll spare you the details. As much as I love those memories, there are few of you who would care tohear me go on about them.
Shy
I would love to hear some of those Cera.. heh... A lot of times when I visit the boards I get a strong feeling of Deja Vu. I have been here a pretty long time, and every topic seems to remind me of an older one. Now that I am reaching the end of my high school career a lot of places remind me of past events, and people who have left. I had a lot of fun at high school, it is a shame that this will be my last year.
Mist
I get Deja vu whenever I hear any song. I love music, and if I knew you well enough, I'd have certain songs that I could name of the top of my head that I thought you could relate to. I often get memories of my great-grandfather who died when I was six. He was so cool; he made me breakfast and would pop his dentures out for me...^^
Hyper
de ja vu? well i always think Aries looks really familiar. There was this one time where the class had gone to the teachers hose for a party and i had felt like i had been there before. The front room looked exactly how it looked when i had seen it but i dont remember where.
Corey
That's unconsious precognition Hyper. I have it all the time. You dream something, you don't remeber you dream it, and then when you go to the place you dreamed of, you get DeJaVu. I'm not sure of the real name but that's what I call it. Whenevr I hear this one song by Savage Garden (shudders), I remember this one boss fight in a video game I used to own. The music sounded exactly like the song. Mitch
I think everyone has had at least one of these kind of moments, even if they won't admit it. I get these alot, I'll be writing a poem or whatever, or just sitting there thinking really deep, and out of nowhere, I'll remember something. Like my dog, Bitsy, we had to put her to sleep. I think about that alot. Anything sad reminds me of her.
James
If I ever see a rerun of Saved by the Bell on TV, it makes me think of the good ol' early 90's... Ahh those were the days. What? They were! o_O;;
Sara
.....I watched that show when I was in maybe....second grade...? Eight years old-ish, and obsessed with it....
James
Heh, yeah. I can't say I watched it all that much...I watched it occasionally. But for some reason, shows like that always make me feel warm and fuzzy. lol Probably because I had less responsibility then or something...I just have very fond memories of those years. And seeing shows like that, which were really popular back then, kind of makes me remember everything really vividly.

Kei
When I was looking through my drawers the other day, I found a French assignment that I'd gotten a bad grade on and hid from my mom. It reminded me of my best friend James (Not our beloved admin, but a different one). He moved to Miami to go to college, and I really miss him. Oh, the times we had. Like the little WWE (back when it was the WWF) incident....that was hilarious. And whenever I look at my little Kittay plushie, it reminds me of my friend's cat named Fluffy. He was eaten by Rottweiler, may he rest in peace.
Hyper
Eaten by a Rottweiler? There are some things you don't want to remember.
Kei
Yeah, that's true. But it was really his fault. Fluffy was bold, and in all honesty, he owned all the dogs in his neighborhood. My friend took him on a trip with her down to Alabama and he tried to pull his tricks with her grandma's Rottweiler Killa. He ain't named that for no reason. To make a long and gruesome story short, there were kitty scraps everywhere. *sniff sniff* Poor Fluffy.

Kei
Originally posted by genkai_yyh aaaahhh! i didn't know dogs ate cats!
Apparently, you've never seen Disney's "Oliver & Company." I was just watching CN and saw those new little song snipets of Cartoon Cartoon shows called "Prime Cut." It was a song from Johnny Bravo called "The Sensitive Male Song" and it reminded me of those School House Rocm cartoons that came on One Saturday Morning when I used to watch it. I used to love those cartoons!

Kei
Serious ouch. I forgot to mention that I went with her on this trip. I saw it happen. He looked like a Beanie Baby in Killa's mouth. It was horrible. Had nightmares of being eaten by a gigantic dog for two weeks. *shudder* Now watch that traumatizing experience come back on me 10 years from now and cause me to have to go to therapy.
