What was the best N64 cutscene

Personally, I think it's in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It occurs happens when Link descends back to Hyrule from the Chamber of the Sages for the first time. It's right after the Sage of Time, Rauru tells him to go forth and free the Sages in all the Temples.

After Rauru has finished, Older Link is teleported back to Hyrule by something that looks incredibly like the Stargate wormhole. It's a class cutscene that really made me appreciate the game. But anyway it's not my opinion that counts it yours I'm looking for.

Hmm... out of all the cutscenes in N64 games that I've seen, I think my favorite is the ending to Super Mario 64... Yeah, I know, it's not from a Zelda game. I'm having a hard time believing it myself... The song that plays is one of my favorite songs on any video game, and it's quite satisfying to sit back and watch the ending after getting all 120 Power Stars, and beating Bowser by throwing him into three bombs with only three throws. And yeah, I've actually done that; I was quite good at timing the throws, since I went back and faught him quite a few times after beating the game. I used to beat him over and over, just to see the ending.

Hmm, initially I would have chosen an ending or cut scene from a Zelda game or Mario 64, but shockingly I too choose Conker's Bad Fur Day as the game with the best cut scene.

I found the ending hilarious for some reason.

Spoilers

It was quite clever how the game "locked up". Conker's interaction with the "programmer" furthered my enjoyment of the concept and featured the unlikely protagonist cheating to win.

The further parody of the Matrix scene was also neat for the simple fact that a squirrel had the option of choosing from so much high-powered artillery.

The disgruntled new king's quote, "Out of all the people I don't like in the world, I have to be in a room full of 'em," was comical as well considering that he was referring to silly creations. Hearing their lame chant was the icing on the cake.

All very clever on Rare's part. :)

Nope. Sorry. My fav cutscene is in Resident Evil 2. Yes, they made an N64 version of one of the most awesome games ever to bless the Playstation. Why they didn't make a 64 version of Nemesis or RE1, I don't know. Maybe they did and my Blockbuster doesn't carry them. I dunno. But my fav cutscene is when you're Claire and you've just blown the helicopter to Hell with the plastique, you walk into the cheih of police's office and see the mayor's daughter, bleeding and dead, on a desk. The cheif is behind the desk, putting on a show, a very fake one, of emotion at her death and telling how he had to kill her before she became a zombie. Which is a load of crap because the only wound in her is the bullet in her side! I just really liked that scene. I dunno why.

I've never run out of time in Majora's Mask, but I have seen where the moon crashes down on Termina.

My favourite cutscene is at the end of Majora's Mask where the four guardians hold up the moon. There are a few more good cutscenes at the end of Majora's Mask, but I don't want to spoil the end for everybody.

Ah! From Conquers Bad Fur Day! I loved that game, I totally agree that it is truly the best Nintendo 64 cut scene.

I'd have to agree with Desbreko. The most memorable cutscene from an N64 game for me would have to be the Mario 64 ending. I guess that was mainly because it was the first ending for an N64 game that I'd ever seen...so perhaps that made it more memorable than other games.

I also liked the music...and really enjoyed the rest of the ending sequence.

Oh definetley Conkers Bad Fur Day, I have two favourites from this....

------------------- SPOILER ALERT--------------------------------SPOILER ALERT----------------------------------

Saving Private Ryan take off was magnificent and touching for a take the p*** game. But the quality of the Matrix and godfather scenes was hilarious, squirrel in leather suit and cape, having the ability of aposable thumbs on guns and jumping in the air on two feet, magnificent :D Also the Firing Squad scene on Rodent, he he, I got 'em Tediz good.!

I believe you mean the one when you first talk to Princess Zelda in the Hyrule Castle Courtyard, and she tells you about the creation of the world and it shows the Three Goddesses flying through the sky and whatnot. The one when you get the Kokiri's Emerald doesn't show too much of the goddesses, it's mainly just to tell you that the Triforce exists, and where it came from. (The Three Goddesses left it behind on earth when they left).

But anyway, yeah, that'd probably be my second favorite cutscene from a Nintendo 64 game. It is quite cool. :)

My favorite (get ready this is really lame) cut scene on the 64 was by far the ability to hold Z when choosing a course and then you get to see your racer verbaly abbuse the track favorite.

Its just so funny!
oO;; What game is that from?

Uhh.. I think my favorite would have to be from OoT, the one from Link's dream (which does become reality) where it's dark and raining and you see Impa and Zelda on a horse, followed by Gannondorf. I don't know why, but I think the mood of it is really cool. I also do like that goddess one that you're talking about. Good stuff.

I like in Mystical Ninja Goemon's Quest in the beginning when Goemon and Obisharamu get kicked out of the store because Obi tried to do his "Hypnotic dance" on the store owner. And even though this isn't a cutscene in Oot when you first walk out into Hyrule Field, I was entranced. But, like I said, that wasn't a cut scene

   Sorry... I guess it just slipped my mind! Maybe it was late or somthing. I think I was sick when I posted that originally. You know, conjested head, blocked sinuses, achy body, the whole bit. Yeah sorry 'bout that, sometimes I can just go on and on...:babble: Eventually I'll just forget what I had set out to say in the first place.
So, I hope this hasn't made anyone's head get swollen or swell up or something... No, wait... Thats like the same thing! Why do we even have both sayings? Swollen, Swelled up, what's the difference?!?
