[/B][/QUOTE] I think you are right about the RX-78 showing up. I do not remember the GP01, but it has been a while since I saw it. As for Wing Gundam showing up before Gundam W was made, I would have to guess that it was a "sign of things to come" by the creators. If I remember the dates of release correctly, I would bet that Gundam W was in being created at the time that G Gundam was airing on TV. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However I agree with Lalaith Ril, the pilots of Gundam Wing kicked butt. Espeacially Heero and WuFei. Have you ever seen such cool fighting ? I really love the way Heero fights. I also love the way he says "I`ll kill you". woops a little off topic buy anyway yeah I love the fighting. Domon and Kyoji really kick butt. As for the whole series known as G-Gundam its one of my less favorite animes mainly for the fact it's a cheap dbz clone. However, it does have its fair share of fun points to it. It does a great job also at paying homage to the late 60's animes like Gigantor and the Giant Robot Genre. After giant robo week inturpted my recording schedule, I wasnt sure if they would go back to airing it, but it looks like everything is ok. But like I said, it sure is good to have G back. I just love the second half of the series. The love story between domon and rain and the action take on a whole new level of excitment. oh yea, I though it would be nice to ressurect this thread since it should have never died, being that there have been 2 new G gundam threads while this one was there the whole time. Oh well, I mean, who would look for a thread first... Im just suprised that domon would post in one of the others without mentioning this threads existance. oh well. I think I would defintely rate it better than the original series, but Zeta and Double Zeta are on another level completely, and I would defiately recommend those to everyone. Zeta was released in Japan in 1980 or 1984, if my release dates are incorrect please correct me. I just know that Zeta was released in Japan sometime ago. I thought it was boring and the story was weak:sleep: It was turning out like the Zoids series (the one with Bit not 'Chaotic Century') I did the like the character designs and that each country had a gundam designed after it. Wing was full of little kids piloting gundams with controls that only come close to resembling the controls of a jet and a helicopter combined. Then take into account that wing is full of wishy-washy philosophical ideals like total pacifism... Yea, I want to stick with my earlier statments. G gundam was awesome. The first part, maybe the first quarter of the series, sucked compared to the rest, but it was still awesome over all. The final 15 or so eps were awesome. They had emotional content and story line that was able to stray from the cliche gundam ideas seen in the UC timeline. I also think that the animation was awesome. And I just noticed a coincidence worthy of mention... Both of the most recent anti-g gundam replies were done by newbies with wing avatars and even qoutes qoutes from wing. I gotta say though, wing was ok. It had awesome animation and a decsent story. However, tying together kids and military plans is a big no-no. Especially Master Gundam. That thing just looked pure evil. Which was odd because when Master Asia piloted it in the finals he saved Domon several times. Even teaches him a new technique. Oh well. Oh. Here's an interesting fact. The Master Gundam's head is made in the shape of a heart, representing Master Asia's former title as the King of Hearts. I was told horrible stories about it, and that I should pretty much stay away from it at all costs. I didn?t quite like it as much as the other series I have seen, but it was a great show. It balanced love, fighting, and a pretty weak story. The only big flaw I found was the repetitiveness. Until the last 20 or so episodes it was the same thing every episode. [b]Shining Gundam VS.
