Krillen
Yes, yes. In the GCN game Animal Crossing you can search out hidden video games for your Atari,NES, or SNES as a side objective when you become bored. Offering up to about 20 classic games, not all include Mario but here are some that do. Atari: Donkey Kong Tennis Nintendo: Super Mario Bros. Duck hunt SNES: Super Mario Cart There are much much more of coarse, I just cant think of them right now, I hope this helps and when I find out more Ill let you know in this thread. And yes, each Game you find, lets you play the entire game, I kid you not.
James
Animal Crossing has Super Mario Kart?! That has to be reason enough to buy the game! lol
Desbreko
Naw, just that isn't enough reason to get it. After all, Mario Kart Super Circuit has all of the tracks from Super Mario Kart. But yeah, there are supposed to be a bunch of NES games that you can get. Maybe I'll have to get AC just for The Legend of Zelda, if it's on there. ;)
Semjaza
I don't know where you are getting this info from... Nowhere ever have I seen SNES games listed. I even go to a place where a guy from NOA posts, and even he has never mentioned it. He has been telling us specific things about the game for like 2 months at least now. Tennis, DK, Balloon Fight, Golf, Excitebike, Pinball, Clu-Clu Land and DK Math are the "common" games. Punch Out!! is one of the more rare ones. I've yet to hear anything about Zelda or Super Mario Bros., but both were in the Japanese version. All of these are NES games, not Atari games (I actually own all of these NES carts). Anyway, I wouldn't believe anything about SNES games yet til I saw some real proof lol. Here's hoping though.
BlueGender
It is said that Super Mario Brothers and Zelda are either very hard to get and you get them after a year of play or you get them through the e-card's (when you scan the e-card you get letters nd ther items throuh them). As you said both gameswere in theJapanese game so I hghly doubt they were taken out. Many people re bying thegames to unlock the oriinal Zelda game.
Semjaza
I wonder how many people know Zelda was in the Japanese version at all. It wasn't really publicized much. Neither was Super Mario Bros. Both were available through Nintendo promotions in Japan, there was no way to get them in the game otherwise. I don't see why they'd take them out considering how much was added to the US version.
slasher
Ok........I dont have the game yet,so you are saying you can play those games opn AC?
Semjaza
There was a list on some boards of NES games included in the Japanese version of this game... I'll list the ones I can remember. I'm not sure if all of these made it into the US verison, if some were replaced, removed, added, etc. Here's what I can remember off hand: Common games (found in the grabbag at the start of the game, or otherwise easy to get): Donkey Kong Pinball Donkey Kong Jr. Math Balloon Fight Cluclu Land Tennis Excitebike Donkey Kong Jr. Uncommon Games: The Legend of Zelda (Given away via promotion in Japan) Super Mario Bros. (Given away via promotion in Japan) Wario's Woods (Found on the GBA Island) Cluclu Land D (The Famicom Disk System verison of the same game) Mahjong Punchout!! There were 5 or so others that I can't remember, for a total of 19 games. Dunno about the US version's total as of yet.
