If you could change GTA3

[color=teal]I would probably change it so that you could buy and upgrade cars like in GT, this would also mean that if you were arrested you could just get your car from the impound lot instead of losing it like before, also bring back the motor bikes with same treatment to cars. Players should be allowed choose their characters clothing[/color]

I must admit that would be cool. To be able to buy your own car, and fully customise it and stuff. But imagine if you crashed it, or flipped it!

That would just be torment.

Now, about the clothes. You can use a cheat to change them. Although all it does is makes you into another character. Like a Police officer or something.

The cheat is - Right, Down, Left, Up, L1, L2, Up, Left, Down, Right.

Just do it as many times as you need to, until you find the character you desire.

[size=1][color=blue]If I could change anything I would make it so you can go inside buildings and exploe there interiors s many times I wished i could rob the bank.I also would like to have all the Glitches fixed. All of the glitches ruined the game expirence many times for me. Almost every GTA:3 player has expierenced what Rockstar calls Blue Hell after the third time it gets annoying. I myself have expirenced it about 100+ time. [/color][/size]

what exactly is Blue Hell? is it a certain glitch?

anyway, i would change the whole bridge thing, unlinited access to the entire city from the start, like Vice is going to be ;)

Y'know the opening sequence, where the main character and what's-her-name are robbing a bank. Well, outside the city, is that little block of buildings, which you can find using a Dodo. However, if you touch the ground, you're fall through it, and into this 'Blue Hell', where you're pretty much stuck...

[color=blue][size=1] Blue Hell can be expirenced in many places sometimes you go speeding into the side of a building and see bluehell for a few seconds. But then you come out other times you get stuckin blue hell. Blue hell basically is a black space where you see the color blu in like what looks kinda like flames it' a glitch.[/color][/size]

[COLOR=darkblue]It would be cool if there were branching storylines where you could pick the group that you like working for and stick with them instead of having them try to blow up the car you're in. All the while the other gangs would become more hostile towards you or attempt to manipulate you into their group.[/COLOR]

Just like in GTA2, man that would rule. In my opinion GTA2 had the best mission system and the coolest gangs, like the Zaibatsu, the best GTA gang created.

It would be fun to be hated by some gangs, and loved by others, just like the old days. Instead of just getting blown to smithereens whenever you go driving through Saint Marks, no matter what you previously did.

About Blue hell. One of the freakiest places to get it is in the middle of the stadium. Try flying the Dodo in there and landing. You will hit the ground and begin to spin uncontrollably picking up speed, until you suddenly appeared outside the stadium.

And No, blue hell will not be making a second appearance in Vice city, as wit the inclusion of controllable flight; Full wing aircraft, Helicopter. Comes the need to eliminate the clipping previously seen in GTA III, which was the main reason for blue hell. This is because with the helicopter you will presumably be able to go basically anywhere, and land on any building. Hence a fully 3D completed city, no roofless buildings and so on.

But of coarse, as is to be expected of any game, there may be a few minor glitches, maybe like blue hell, but nothing as wide spread as we have previously seen.

[B][color=royalblue]I've always wanted the ability to use aircraft. Simple as that. GTA: Vice City seems to be much more "aircraft focused"...so someone's answering my prayers. ^_^[/color] [/B][/QUOTE]

[size=1]Yeah, on GTAIII you could blow helicopters up, see them and walk past them on top of bulidings but you never got to do anything with them.. 'part from blow them up..[/size]

[color=royalblue]Yes! Exactly!

I really like the free roaming environment in GTAIII...even now, I still play the game and just muck around.

But GTA:VC seems to be going so much further. The ability to use aircraft is a truly awesome feature...and the apparent lack of loading time for different parts of the city is also extremely welcome.

Can you imagine how cool it'd be to fly a helicopter down into the street and hover over the cars...or better yet, direct the chopper into a big line of traffic and jump out at the last minute?

I don't know if the latter is possible, BUT I do know that you can jump out of moving vehicles now. So imagine the possibilities when it comes to using aircraft...*drool*[/color]

[size=1]Yeah, and hopefully the plane can be a bit easier to fly this time. The Dodo was a hunk of crap. ;)

I like the idea of like "fighting" the police while you're in the air, I think it will be such a cool game.[/size]

Yes, yes it was. But the question is, do you want it to be easy to fly?

The Dodo provided so many hours of fun, becuase it was so hard to fly, if you could fly it really well, you felt proud, you acheived something. If it was easy to fly, it may not be the same.

But then we have to look at controlled flight, and how much fun that would bring... Bleh.

[color=royalblue]Controlled flight would be better. You'd be able to fly under bridges...skim the water...and come across so many close calls! ^_^

Of course, different aircraft will probably handle differently. So it'll be interesting from that point of view as well.[/color]

I don't know about you James, But i can do most of that already. I can do a loop de loop under the bridge, barrel rolls, water skiing, swan dives. All fun stunts to do in the Dodo.

The thing that excites me, is leaning out the door of the helicopter and shooting people from 100 meters in the air (Already confirmed).

[B][color=royalblue]How on earth is that stuff even possible with the Dodo?

I don't have the time to really sit there and learn all the nuances of the Dodo...I'd rather just hop in a plane and go for it. lol[/color] [/B][/QUOTE]

[size=1]Lol, the Dodo sucked, it was completely uncontrollable.[/size]

It is pretty hard, but there is a trick. dont pull up actually keep tapping down to keep the speed up. small decrease in elevation helps pick up speed and gets you more altitude. Ive been able to fly for like 5 mins. turning is the real pain in the *** part.

[size=1]Maybe it doesn't suck if you know how to fly it then, lol. But I think in Vice City there should be an plane that is easier to fly, like car. The problem with a plane is you don't just have right, left, forwards and backwards.. you have that plus up and down..[/size]

[B][size=1]That's.. not what I meant.. I meant if the plane was as easy to fly as the car is as easy to drive.. if you get what I mean. Basically if you got in the plane you could fly it straight away with no practice.[/size] [/B][/QUOTE]

No I knew what you meant. I was just saying how fun it was to fly the car. It was fun.

[color=indigo]I agree that it would be ice to actually go inside buildings and look around and terrorize and such. I can really imagine the fun one could have with that. Shoot one person, have the cops chasing after you, run around will causing more damage, hop in an elevator, go up or down a few floors, the doors open only to find more cops waiting for you, but you were ready for them :naughty: BAM!! Blow them away, lol. Simple acts of terrorism was my most favorite thing to do in GTA3. I'd just plot myself on top of a building, with the [i]All Weapons[/i] code in of course, then start blowing people away, and blowing up any cars that dared to drive by. Then eventually the police come. They get out of their cars. They have terrible aim so I would take out the sniper rifle and get a close-up of their head and watch it gush blood. If they were out of view, I would merely blow up the car they came out of, which in turn causes a chain reaction with any other cars in close proximity of it. A great way to gain money, while having fun. Shooting helicopters out of the air is always fun too.

Speaking of which, I would think it would be awesome for damage upon buildings to actually occur. Most of the time when I shot a helicopter down it would hit a building and blow up, yet the building remained intact. I think it would be awesome if such things like that took damage from being shot, run in to, or blown up. Then eventually they might fall from too much damage. It would add a really nice twist to the game since if something crumbled it would block the street below and you would have to find another way around. Just imagine having to do that with the cops or a gang hot on your tail. A good thrill factor, in my opinion. Also opens up a new window for missions.

Lol, when it came to the flying car, I could never get a grip on how to fly the thing. Or find any uses for it. I always found it more fun to get a sports car, put in the code for [i]Perfect Driving[/i] and ramp that baby of anything and everything I could find, lol. That and just planting car bombs in front of the police station...

Oooooh, how I lust for mass destruction. ^_^[/color]
