Hideki
The future begins 9/24/02. Meaning, DVD 1 of X comes out. It includes the first three episodes. I'm very excited about this because X is my second favorite series. I love it. I've seen it 4 times all the way through allready. Kamui is the bomb:wigout: Also happening 9/24/02 is the release of End of Evangelion. Which I've been waiting for ever since I bought Death and Rebirth, which rocks. If you've seen the NGE series (all of it) and havn't seen/bought Death and Rebirth, get it. It's amazing. I can't wait to see the movie. I'm gonna skip school that day just too watch them! And then, when school gets out at 4p.m., I'm going to watch them again. But it'll be different cuz in my mind I'll act like I havn't seen them. So it's like I was at school all day and have been waiting to get home to watch them. So it's more exciting. I'm sorry I'm just strange like that;) So how many others out there will be buying X DVD1 or End of Evangelion? Or both ^_^
amiboshi
Ah! I'm deffinitely buying X: One! I've seen the first 3 fansubbed, but I figure I should buy the DVD to support X so they release all of it. ^-^ I totally agree with you....Kamui is the bomb. He's just....so cool. Although X TV did swipe Kamui of pretty much all the emotions he had in the manga, but he's still cool. ^-^ X: An Omen was pretty cool, too. I liked how they had all those clips from the show, and then I could recognize them when they were in the series. Hee hee. That was kinda neat.... SS Vegeta
X; The movie was pretty good, but I still probably wont buy the DVD. As for End of Evangelion, I am definatley going to get it. Probably not the day of it's realese, but soon after. :) I haven't been waiting that long for it, but that is only because I finished the series like 3 days ago. :p
Hideki
Awww man. You have the get the X series. It's soooo much better than the movie. The movie is crap in my opinion. :p
amiboshi
It's almost terrible to relate X the Movie and X TV. They are sooooo different. X TV has great graphics, there's actually character development this time, and the plot is there, much unlike the movie. And there are more really cool psychic fighting scenes (and some physical ones ^-^). I forgot to say this before..... I wanna get End of Evangelion, too, but I kinda need to see the end of the series and Death and Rebirth first....^^;;
Justin
X is one of those special animes that you just keep on getting new stuff from everytime you wtach it. I myself have never seen any of the episodes, but I do own the movie on DVD, and it does rock. In that 'depressed, end-of-the-freaking-world' kind of way. -Justin

But there is a reason for that, when you try to fit a whole manga series into one movie it just gets messed up. Am I right?
amiboshi
You are right. ^-^ Even with X TV, I was a bit disappointed that they left out a few of my favorite scenes from the manga, but oh well. I have a huge obsession with X, and I still don't like the movie much. I mean, I think it's cool in that mass destruction kinda way, but it just so fast and almost doesn't make any sense unless you already know the background story. ....though it did leave me with the feeling of numb depression....or the feeling that I wanted to destroy something.
Queen Asuka
I want to get the X tv series when it's released. I've been looking for the manga forever, and they don't sell it anywhere around where I live. That makes me so sad because I love CLAMP series. I have seen the movie, and it was good, but I just don't think should be able to make over 10 volumes of manga into a one hour movie! That should be illegal! But yeah, the artwork by CLAMP is just amazing and the storyline is so captivating. The TV series should be great.
Semjaza
How different is this series from the actual movie? I've seen the movie, and was honestly let down. The only thing I've seen since then that was hyped to no end and was just as disappointing was Blood. I've never gotten around to reading the manga. I've really avoided it all because the movie didn't interest me. Is this worth seeing anyway? And what makes it so good?
amiboshi
The TV series is really notihng like the movie. The series isn't just "there's this pair, then they kill eachother. Then this pair, then they kill each other. And then this guy will just chop off his head." I like X because it's got lots of plot and characters and everything, but it has some cool fight scenes, and something about the apocalypse is just interesting. But seriously, I'm not really sure what's so appealing about it, but I recommend it, so you'll just have to see it for yourself. ;)
Hideki
X the series and X the movie are completly different. The series is way more developed. The ending is completly different. The stories for the characters are a lot different. It's 100% more in depth in every way. Better fights and you get more of the music too. I think the movie is crap too. But that's only cuz I love that series to death ^_~
amiboshi
Oh yeah, I love the music of the series. EX Dream is an awesome song, the opening, I mean. And that one song they usually use in the background, Sadame, I love that one. ;) The movie had kinda crappy music.....and its animation can't compare to the series' animation, in my opinion. Hideki
eX Dream rules. Sademe rocks too. Even the piano version ^_^ I like STRENTGH too.
amiboshi
Yeah. I love EX Dream and Strength, and Secret Sorrow. Like that one, too. ^-^ I also like Kamui's theme from the movie, though, but it sounds a bit more dry than music from the series. Secret Sorrow and Strength seem to have a kind of jazzy sound, or maybe it's my imagination. lol. But I love how they sound. ^^
Def_Kun
I love X TV, mostly because of the tragic fate bestowed upon Kamui. The movie was nothing much though... X TV and the movie are independent from one another. You can watch the movie or the series first, it doesn't matter since some events that happened in the movie does not happen in the series and vice-versa. The only problem is some people avoid the series since they think it's exactly like the movie. And I love eX Dream by Miyugi!!!
