Hmm.. lessee...

not funny... not entertaining...

I hate adam sandler movies...

why?

He always plays some stupid guy.... that's in some sitution he doesn't fit in, in, and then ends up with some 'happy ending'....

in other words... waste of nine dollars...
although I did have a good nap on those comfy seats! ^^;

Not as funny as Little Nicky?????? Little Nicky was easily the worst of all of the Adam Sandler movies. But anyways, Mr.Deeds was okay. It was more of a regular movie, not really Sandler style. That doesn't mean it was bad though, just not the "stupid funny" Adam that we all know and love.

I was never into Adam Sandler... I liked his first couple movies, but the other ones were just bleh. I remember when Waterboy was doing so well at the theaters, everyone was talking about it. I rented the thing a bit later and did't laugh once. I don't even remember smiling.

After that I have no reason to expect much from his other movies, and I doubt Mr. Deeds is an exception. But if you love it, that's cool too heh.

I love Adam Sandler. Happy Gilmore was a cult favorite with our group. We would watch it almost every time we would get together. It was just awesome.

I was never a fan of Billy Madison *ducks* I know everyone else is, and that is usually their favorite. Waterboy was really funny too. I liked Little Nicky and Big Daddy. Airheads, while not really HIS movie, was really funny, but I loved it, so I had to mention it.

As for the topic at hand - Mr. Deeds - It felt like a mix of an Adam Sandler movie and an attempt at a real serious movie. Most of his others are just flat out comedies, this one tried to be more of a love story, and I think remaking an older one is hard anyways, let alone with someone who is not THAT experienced with producing movies anyways. Not to slam on Adam Sandler any. I LOVE his movies. But this one just felt a bit off from all his other ones. I like the movie, and found it absolutely hillarious watching John Turturro as the butler.

Oh well, while I did enjoy this movie (though, not as much as I would have liked it to be), I hope that his next movie will be a bit better =)

Till all are one!
