Guest Renegade V2
Finally some more hand held hard hitting action. I have loved Street Fighter since I first bought Street Fighter 2 at a garage sale. ;) I recently bought a Gameboy Advanced! Finally enableing me to play this game. While I haven't got a chance to play it myself quite yet this is a little bit Game Informer thought of it.
Concept: The best Street Fighter game ever brought to handheld with minimal sacrifice. Graphics: The sprites move quite fluidly, and are suprisingly large. Sound: The quality isn't horrible, but th variety is lacking a little. Playability: Despite the two buttons missing, I found executing combos easy. Entertainment: Again, this is perhaps the best Street Fighter made. Although it is missing the World Tour mode, it's still a blast to play. Replay Value: High
Sounds like a keeper to me. ;) I think that I will be picking it up very soon. I will give you my review once I get it.
Charles
The game does indeed look impressive. Of course, I would like to see how many of the backgrounds Capcom squeezed in that little cart. The only issue plaguing the game, will likely be the control setup. Capcom is renowned for the golden game play in its titles, but how it can effectively map the control scheme onto the GameBoy Advance (without a hitch) is beyond me. I've heard that certain combos are simplified to compensate. Nonetheless, this will be a fighter worth owning.
Semjaza
I can't say I am the best at Capcom fighters, mainly because I am not the best at hitting 6 different buttons for moves... heh. I prefer SNK fighters because they are just as deep, but don't always require so many button presses. But anyway, from what I understand the A and B buttons are weak hits and the L and R are medium, pressing weak and medium at the same time does a hard hit. Seems like a decent setup to me. I'm sure the d-pad would get annoying after a while though.
