Liam sighed and leant back in his seat. The day had been long and boring, physics, then chem, and math....and german.....and english... Such things can be drain on the senses. He glanced up at the clock at the wall, counting down the seconds, 5...4...3....2...1...1...1....1.... Liam felt the nerve twitching on his temple, not now...he could feel every part of his mind screaming at him to snap, to give in. The teacher gave him a sideways glance, eyebrows raising at the irritated nerve, not surprisingly he quickly glanced up at the clock, and sighed with relief as the bell rang out. Liam quickly gathered his books and threw them into his locker down the corridor.

Michael: sheesh, you were about to snap then weren't you? You should've let go man, I mean, how hilarious would that be? Not to mention it would bring up the tally of teachers I've seen you throw out the window up to two, and the tally of people I've seen you mangle up to uh...he began counting fingers twelve.

Liam glared at Michael, annoyed.

Liam: If you speak another word about what happened last year, I am legally bound to kill you.

Michael: Sure, sure, whatever, I know you'd never kill your best friend. Besides, the government wouldn't let you...
Michaels eyes strayed over to the now exposed Desert Eagle, and the hand reaching for it.

Michael: ahem...well....so what are you doing this weekend?

Liam: better. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm getting out of this hell hole...

Michael: erm..school doesn't finish for another two hours....

Liam slams his locker shut and jangles his car keys in front of Michaels eyes

Michael: ok then, well I'll seeya tomorrow then eh?

Liam: you're learning quickly.

Raellyra, Rae, to those few who knew and liked her, sighed and slumped against a wall. The day had been hell, and it wasn't over yet. She watched as Liam jumped into his car and drove away. So he was gone. Rae checked her watch. 2:30. Not bad. He hadn't hurt anyone yet, amazingly.

Part of her task was to watch him. She never interfered, but she always watched. He drove out of the school, and Rae turned around and walked back into the main school.

The breeze whipped her hair around, and she wished she'd put it up. Too late now though. Sighing, Rae pushed a black lock out of her face.

Her eyes darted from place to place, and she caught snatches of conversation from each clump of people standing, or sitting, around.

"Jules, what are you waering to the party?"

"New kid at school..."

"I can't believe Miss Walther..."

"I was thinking jeans."

"Do you know how mcuh homework she sets us?"

But one voice stood out. "Look at her. She just stands there. Why doesn't she speak to anyone? All she does is stares...." Rae turned to face the voice, her lip curling. She could feel her fingers twitching for her gun, although it was strapped to her thigh, under her skirt. Maybe her daggers would work, Rae thought idly. They weren't far away; one was in the sole of the shoe, the other strapped to her forearm, covered by her sleeve.

The girl stopped and stared at Rae, eyes wide. They were, for some reason, afraid of her. Why, Rae didn't know. They at least had reason to be afraid of Liam, but Rae hadn't done anything to any of them...yet. She wondered how long that would last.

After english class, Iitashi walked up to his friend who had helped him reduce his accent.

Jack: Hey Iitashi, how's everything going?

Iitashi: I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. And Jack...?

Jack: Yeah?

Iitashi What's the story on that Liam guy? He just drove away and school isn't even out yet; can he do that?

Jack: I'm not sure. Most kids that don't know him try to avoid him, they've heard stories...

Iitashi: What kind of stories?

Jack: I don't know exactly, something about what happened to him a year ago...

Iitashi wasn't paying attention to his friend, he was staring at a student who was walking along the second story pathway.

Jack: Hey Iitashi, what's wrong?

Iitashi: Hold on, I'll be right back.

Iitashi ran inside the school building.

Jack: Man, Liam isn't the only one that's acting strange today...

Siren lounged on the roof and laughed sweetly as she watched Liam storm out of the building... She Walked confidantly to the edge of the roof and lept to a tree several feet away... She climbed halfway down then droped the remaining ten feet... She spotted Rae and the girl staring at her... She smirked and sliently crept behind her... She took a deep breath...

Siren: BANG!!!

The girl passed into a dead faint... Siren looked amused...

Siren: Oops...

She steped over her and made her way to Rae... She grinned and sauntered into the building, stoping to roll her eyes crazily at a boy that was staeing at her... She laughed madly then skiped into the hall on her way to her next class... She slowed as she got into her class... Math... Her favorite... The teacher thought she was stark raving mad... She tugged at her shirt then marched into the classroom

Ryan walked out of his Geography class and down the hall towards his least favorite class, Latin.

He was almost there when one of his friends walked up to him.

Dave: "Ryan, looks like Liam left again. What emotional wreck."

Ryan: "Dave, shut up. If you had been through the thing he's be-

Dave: "Not this boring speech again. You take this SYF thing too seriously."

Ryan ignored Dave's comment and continued walking down the hall. He didn't think that he took his SYF job too seriously; it was a very serious job, that's all.

He sat down at his desk and waited for the teacher to arrive. He really wanted to get out of school today; he had made plans to go to the shooting range...

OOC: I think I'm the...youngest(is that the right term?) here according to, like expirience. Wow!

Rae watched as the girl fainted. She chuckled as Siren winked and walked away. Most people thought Siren was insane, and it wasn't far from the truth. Siren was...not one to follow the crowd. It suited Siren, just as isolation usually suited Rae.

Rae whirled suddenly and grabbed the boy who had been following her, then sighed and relaxed. It was Iitashi. She glared at him.

"What do you want, Iitashi?"

Liam changed gears as the car somewhat slid around the corner. He was silently fuming, mad at himself, mad at his school, and most of all mad at the nagging feeling that the SYF had watchdogs tailing him. The lights ahead blinked red, he drew the car to a halt and started searching the pockets of his spray jacket for his headset. Just as the lights turned green again, he fished out the blue object, placing it somewhat grudgingly on his crown. Instantly a channel opened and a cranky voice roared into his ear.
?Bloody hell Liam! You?re on bloody probation, you?re lucky we got the school to keep you, let alone with your gun! And what do you do to thank us? Leave early and throw it all in our faces! And what do you have to say for yourself huh??
Liam rolled his eyes. ?And a good afternoon to you sir.?
The instant the words were spoken, the car screeched to a halt, the engine dieing.
Liam gritted his teeth. ?Right. The immobiliser. Great.?
The voice over the headset began speaking again, ?Now. Get your head outta your a** and wake up to yourself. You?re on call. That means you?re on my territory now. I don?t want any of your attitude, and nor do I want a cap busted in me. You hear??
Liam sighed. ?Yeah, I do. Now give me back my car.?
?Yessir, now the commander wants you to report to the base. He?s got a squad mission planned for you.?
Liam swallowed the mammoth sized lump in his throat. ?No way. You know my stance on that kind of thing since...the event.?
?Big deal kid, not my orders, high commands orders. This time the whole freaking planet?s involved in this mission. Now get your butt over here and we?ll start calling in the rest of the squad. That is, unless you want to pick ?em up yourself. Might give you time to get acquainted.?
?Right,? Liam laughed, ?and where exactly are these multinational secret agents??
?The place you just left.?
?Ah-huh. Well now the SYF is getting a bit damn repetitive isn?t it? I mean, wouldn?t it be easier to send the greens to a more sheltered environment, away from the heat I?ve created??
?The reason why they?re at Gryphon College is because of the heat you?ve created.?
?Babysitters?? Liam spluttered, ?you?ve got babysitters on me??
?Yup, that?s about right.?
Liam pulled the car over in the street, silently fuming. Well at least he wasn?t going insane, his maddening suspicions had been ascertained, the SYF had people watching him. All because he threw his stupid student counsellor out the window, so what if he was speaking bloody metaphorically? He asked to be thrown out the window, and Liam was only too happy to oblige.
Liam pulled off his headset and threw it on the rally trimmed seat beside him, turning on the small television screen to take his mind off the matter.
?A startling break through in the clouded up terrorist attack on Gryphon College was revealed earlier today when an unknown source supplied video footage to several television stations.? Liam froze, eyes unblinking and focused on the female news reporter. ?This footage shows startling and disturbing images that we recommend for mature viewing.? The reporter vanished and in her place was full colour footage of the school. The image wobbled and panned across to one of the Blackhawk helicopters that Liam had tried so hard to forget. The sound of gunfire rattled the microphone in the camera and it quickly zoomed to the ground below. There, now frozen, was the image of Liam in his desperate attempt at taking down the helicopters with his Desert Eagle. Frozen in motion were discarded shells flying from the side of the gun, his billowing, bloody, school jacket and his easily recognisable features. Liam swore loudly and hit the steering wheel.
The camera continued to roll and zoomed in on the other teenage agents running to the scene. It finished with shots of cowering students and the mangled bodies of the terrorists before the newsreader popped back into view. ?A massive search has been undertaken to find this individual and his companions. Our news team reported to the school in question but were turned away at the entrance, we believe there may be a government cover up involved.?
?Oh...sh*t...?

Rae swore silently and looked around gingerly as she heard her headset ring. Moving out of range from everyone else, and leaving Iitashi standing there. She moved into an empty classroom, and took the headset out of her bag. Licking her lips nervously, she put it on her head and listened carefully.

"Is there a television nearby?"

Rae looked around. "Yeah, there is...but I'm late for class..."

"Turn it on. Now, Raellyra. Channel Seven."

Rae flicked through 'till she got to the right channel, glad that nobody else was here. She watched in growing horror as the report showed the attack on Gryphon College. And there, clear on the scene was Liam. She swore again, out loud this time, then groaned unhappily.

"Fine...what do you want me to do?"

"We're getting a team together."

"Who?"

"You'll find out when you meet them."

"Thats not fair."

"Too bad. Come back to HQ."

The phone clicked off. Rae did the only thing she could think of. She screamed her fury.

"Well, aren't I lucky." She managed to say after she calmed down.

Rae sighed, checked her watch, and, deciding it was too late to even try for class, ran outside to her car. Getting in, she drove out of the school, taking out her frustration on the car and road by flooring the accelerator.

"Don't I just love my life?" Raellyra said almost bitterly as she sped away.

Craig strolled quetly into Latin, the only one daring to look up at him was Ryan, who didn't know him to well, but knew he was a great agent in the SYF, and there was a great mutual respect between them. Craig always kept his black leather, fingerless gloves on, regardless of what the teachers said. Craig suddenly stopped in the middle of the classroom, moving his hand upto his ear.

Teacher: Craig, please take your se--

Craig held up his hand to her, to shut her up. He nodded to Ryan, then he got up, and they both stormed out of the room. Ryan ran to catch up with Craig as he walked out of cass, flicking his sunglasses onto his head.

Ryan: What is it?

Craig: SYF team mission... looks like we're both invited.

Craig kicked open the doors to the school and walked calmly over to his Kawasaki ninja. He jumped on, and kicked the ignition on. With another glance at Ryan, he shot out of the front gates.

Siren?s eyes focused when she heard the other students gasp? She looked up at the TV? The teacher had an annoying habit of leaving it on during class?. As she watched it began to zoom in on a figure she immediately recognized as Liam... She stood and drew her weapon, firing a shot into the screen? She stood as the others stared? She read the thoughts displayed on their faces? Wasn?t Liam the one who went around shooting things? She smirked? Holstering her gun she sat down and kicked her feet onto the desk? The teacher, furious, began screaming at her to take herself to the principal?s office? Siren stood and bowed before sauntering out the door? She opened the door to the office and the stupid man stared at her before asking her what she did?

Siren: Not much? Shot the TV?

The stupid mans eyes budged? He asked why?

Siren: Didn?t like the way it reflected my hair?

She giggled madly? Then a voice crackled to life in on her earpiece?

Voice: Siren? Time to get serious? We?re calling all the SYF in now? We need you here? Your going out with the rest?

Siren dropped her façade of madness and walked out the door without sparing a glance for the principal? She made sure to slam the door off the hinges on her way out? She found her bike and hopped on, slipping on her helmet and jacket before revving the engine and tearing out of the parking lot leaving skid marks on the asphalt? She sped along the back roads, forgetting to stop at the signs because of her excitement? This would be her first real mission? She slowed as she approached the HQ?

Rae stormed into the HQ, looking around for anybody she knew. Of the agents a Gryphon College, she doubted anyone knew that she was also an agent. Siren might, though. Siren had alsways treated her differently...happily. It seemed odd for someone considered crazy.

Rae sighed and shot a glare at Adam. Her brother and foster parent was lounging about, probably just to annoy her. He was a workaholic otherwise.

Muttering to herself, Rae walked over to the drink machine and pulled out a coke. Who of the agents at Gryphon would be coming? she wondered. Rae knew all of the agents at Gryphon College for one reason; Adam. Adam occasionally left his files around, usually being the ones with information about the, as she called them, Gryphstors. It was his way of letting her know things, without getting into trouble. In reality, Rae was only supposed to know about Siren, Ryan and Liam. The others weren't a problem.

Rae sighed. She babysat them all, really. She hated babysitting; it was tiring. But, she mused, it was fun knowing things you weren't supposed to...

Siren appeared silently beside Rae...

Siren: Hey... So you know what this is all about?

She grabbed an energy drink from the machine and leaned aginst it... She caught a look on Rae's face and smiled...

Siren: I'm really not insane... I just favor the cruel and unusual...

Siren smiles, all traces of madness gone... She took a sip of her drink and glanced at her... She knew who Rae was... What she was doing at the collage with them... She knew she was being "babysat" and diden't give half a care... Siren downed the rest of her drink, crumpled the can and tossed it into the trash...

Rae smiled. "I had that feeling; that you weren't insane." Rae paused for a minute. "I'm not sure what we're here for. It could be the televison report; you have seen that, haven't you?" At Siren's nod Rae continued. "But I don't think thats it. " Rae slid down onto the floor, controlling the motion with her thigh muscles and the walls. "There've been some rumours going around. Disappearances, manglement...that sort of things. I think they'll use the television reason for a while, but eventually, I'm almost certain thats what they're going to get us to do..."

Rae looked around at Siren, waiting for her reaction.

Liam walked into break room, or rather, stormed into the break room after shooting the door open with his Desert Eagle. He stepped over the threshold without a word, blatantly ignoring Adam?s annoyance coming from the corner. So what if the guy was older? He didn?t give a rats a**, as far as he was concerned, no-one held rank above him, except for his parents. And now they?re dead.
In the corner of his eye popped the image of Rae and Siren. He tried to withhold a groan.
?Bloody f****** hell,? Rae glanced up at him and Liam continued, ?that?s it. I can?t stand any more of this.?
Rae raised an eyebrow, ?Come now Liam, you can?t say you?re not surprised. I mean, even the thickest agent would have picked that up.? Liam copied her and ejected the empty clip from his pistol. It hit the ground with a clatter, sound making even Siren wince slightly. Liam slid in another clip from a hidden pocket in his jacket before holstering it again.
?Well, seeing as you?re babysitting me, you should know my record. And now thanks to that f****** tape so does everyone else, also, if you don?t drop the act, I?ll be forced to drop this hair trigger here.? Liam tapped his holster while Adam stood behind him, arming his Glock in reply.
?Liam, I don?t care if you?re unstable, you can do whatever the hell you please, but. If you lay one finger on my sis, I will kick your puny a**.?
Liam laughed, but no mirth was hidden inside it, instead it was mixed with malice directly from a cold, hardened heart. ?I dare you. I dare you to even try to put a hand on me. You may not be ready to die mate, but I sure am. I?m sick and tired of this world and all the pain that comes with it! So, if you don?t mind me saying so, bring it on.?
Adam was at a loss for words. So used to the common conduct, he was speechless and at a loss at what to do, after a moments deliberation, he nodded and un-holstered his weapon.
?Hold it right there, both of you.? The commander entered the room, glaring at all present before setting his gaze on Liam ?Especially you. Liam, holster that weapon now and take a seat.? Liam didn?t move, and returned the cold gaze. ?Now Liam. This is no time for such actions, even you should know that, no matter how tired of this ?routine? you are, you have no excuse.?
Liam sighed and grudgingly returned the Eagle to his holster, taking a seat in the shadows on the far side of the room, waving away the setting dust from the fallen door.

Rae silently swore at her brother. What was he doing? She turned her murder-filled eyes to Liam. Was he actually threatening her brother? Nobody, nobody threatened her family. Ever.

She watched as Liam moved past everyone and sat in the dusty corner. Rae's eyes flickered around, and she decided to join him. She was big on protection. Everywhere else was too exposed. At least there, there was a corner. All you needed to look out for was people to the front of you. Besides, it was fun p***ing off Liam. It was like a Motlov cocktail; the reaction was alway volatile.

Smiling to put everyone else off, Rae moved over to the corner, detouring slightly to pinch Adam hard on the neck. Her nails were always grown long, leaving inprints in his flesh. Satisfaction gleamed in her eyes. Revenge was always sweet.

Rae sat down next to Liam. "F**k off"

She smiled sweetly. "Can't. I'm here to mind you." Out of the courner of her eye she saw him reach for his pistol, and in reaction pulled her knife out of her sleeve and brought it down to his arm. "You may not want to live, and I may not care about life, but I really don't like the idea of pain that guns always seem to bring to my mind. Just leave it."

Surprizingly, Rae didn't think anyone had spoken to Liam like that before and gotten away with it. She knew the only reason she did now was because Liam was under orders; not that that would stop him, but temporarily at least she was safe.

Tuning into the commander, Rae amused herself by predicting what he was going to say, whispering it to whomever was listening. Mainly herself and Liam "Serious subject..."

"This is a very serious subject we are going to have to deal with..."

"Hard mission..."

"...and it will be a very hard mission for all of you..."

"Was going to wait..."

"I was going to wait for a while until the others are here..."

Rae sighed. She knew what was coming. "There have been rumours..."

"There have been rumours of...goings on happening lately..."

"They're true."

"And I regret to inform you that they're true." The commander nodded at Rae. "You know what I'm talking about." Her only response was to incline her head.

Liam, slightly a bit more calmed asked her "What is he talking about? And how do you know?"

She rolled her eyes. "You mean you haven't guessed by now? I'm not only your babysitter, not only Siren's babysitter, nor only Ryan's. I am also believe it or not," she said sarcastically, "an intellegence officer. And a damned good one at that. Spying and information is my forte." She shrugged. "Whether I get it from my side or the enemy is irrelevent."

Rae sighed, finally lifted her dagger from Liams arm, slipped it back into her sheath, floded her arms and closed her eyes. There probably wasn't much about the mission that she didn't know anyway. Well, except for the members. There had to be more agents coming, didn't there?

The door was suddenly thrown open, and Craig strolled in, arms folded over his chest. Ryan walked in after him. Craig eyes scanned the room quickly, there was Liam, in his 'corner'. And there was Rae, his watcher... who was a bit too confident in her skills for Craig's liking. She was so sure no-one knew, but Craig had a knack for watching and listening rather than talking, and he has picked up on alot, this was just one of them. His eyes suddenly turned to Siren, he had never seen her before, which shocked him a bit. He immediately recognised that she was pleasent to look at, but he knew that didn't show in his face, he had only given her a moments glance. Then he spotted Adam, who looked just a bit shacken up... then he looked back at Liam, who was staring at Adam intensly. Craig immediately got the basic picture of what had happened. Rae obviously fancied her skills, Liam is more gun happy that most people like to think.

Craig and Liam used to be decent enough friends, but they grew apart some time ago. Needless to say Liam had enough to say for the pair of them, they tended to stay out of each others way know, but there was still that strange bond between them, more than a respect, but yet different. Liam knew that Craig would draw his gun on him as soon as Liam would on Craig, and they both had enough respect for each other, as not to push the other one over the line.

Craig kicked a seat out from under the table, and slung it roughly against the wall. He sat dowm, arms over his chest, and suddenly noticed that he had taken a seat directly opposite Siren. He looked up at her, and she was staring at him. She shot a quick smile his way, but then both turned away. Ryan took a seat close to Craig, but neither said anything.

Adam: Nice to see you two here, finally.

Craig shot Adam a glance, and was met by Adam's cocky smile. Craig kept his stare, and soon Adam turned away, pretending to tei his shoes. Craig noted the slight hint of satisfaction Liam got from that. Siren let out a loud "Ha!", and Ryan chuckled a bit when he noticed there was nothing wrong with Adam's laces.

Commander: Right, is that everyone?

Siren nodded and popped a piece of gum into her mouth

Siren: I believe so? We can fill in anyone who?s missing? This is getting on mine, *looks around * and apparently several others, nerves?

The commander looked at her, slightly irritated? She tipped her chair back against the wall and looked bored? Thoughts flashed just underneath the surface of her calm? Her mind was in turmoil and her eyes flashed with impatience?

Ryan sat down in one of the cheap plastic chairs in the room and checked his watch. He was going to miss his scheduled shooting range practice. Oh well, if they were going on a mission there would be plenty of targets to go around.

He looked around the room, taking in the other SYF members assembled in the room. He had been trained in Psychological warfare, and part of that was being able to read body language.

He could tell everyone was nervous, except Liam. Liam never seemed to display any body language. He was impossible to figure out, apparently ever since that last mission where his brother had been killed.

What intrigued Ryan the most was the Commander's body language. He was extremely nervous, and kept glancing from the door to the clock on the wall. He must be waiting for a briefing team to arrive. A briefing team meant a serious mission, usually with extra equipment.

Ryan was now tired of waiting, and he got up and slowly walked over to a coke machine in the corner of the room and got a drink.

He hated waiting...

Commander: Where is Niomi?

Siren stood in one fluid motion, resembling a cat... She streached and moved towards the door...

Commander: Just where do you think your going?

Siren: To the little girls room... If you don't trust me you can send a watchdog to look after me...

Siren laughed, a cascading sound, and turned on her heel and strode through the doors... She reached the bathroom in no time... She walked in and found Niomi, just where she thought she'd be... Siren smiled, and gestured with her head to the door...

Siren: Theres a meeting... Are you coming? The Stump is pissed that he can't get ahold of you...

OOC: lol, yeah. I'm waiting for Liam to get off Work Expirience/ Slave Labour. Till then...
_______________

Rae watched as the others came in, and as Siren left to find Niomi. None of them were surprized to see her. Impressive. She had under-estimated them. Stupid thing to do in her book. They were, after all, top agents. The best, and trained by the best. The only real reason she had gotten in was because she knew things. Because she could often fade into the background...and probably also because Adam had put a few words in. She wondered if it was a good thing or not.

She berated herself mentally for under-estimating them. Overconfidence was her main downfall. It always had been.

She hated being protected; she'd rather die than someone think she was too weak to defend herself. And, she knew, she didn't really fit in here. Everyone else here understood each other....enough to get by. She was the outsider here...

Rae sat bolt upright as she noticed a flash of movement through the shattered door. She drew her gun, swearing, and ran outside. She knew Craig, at least, would have noticed the slight motion. He was pretty observant.

Rae's blue eyes clouded over as she realised what she'd seen. A body. She quickly looked around. Her eyes picked out a car squealing away. It was too far now to do anything. She looked again at the body, and her face hardened over. Dead. Unrecognisable features; they'd been beaten...Rae checked the clothing of the body, and pulled out a necklace. Frowning, Rae examined it. S**t. She knew who this was. Elyssa Munroe. An agent.

She schooled her face into impassiveness; her body too. She had checked out Ryan's file; he was able to recognise body language. She turned to the others, who had arrived seconds after she did. They'd have beaten her, if she hadn't been up and running before them. Smiling, Rae turned to the commander and nodded towards the body. "Elyssa Munroe. Agent. Specializing in markmanship, computor intellegence. 5'7, Blonde hair, blue eyes. Sixteen on September the 7th. 'Currently' serving at Revered Soul College. Identifiable marks; maori tatto on left shoulder, birthmark on right lower back." She held up the necklace. "She always wears this. It has her initials engraved on the back." Rae recited. She'd learnt all this. Learnt most of the stuff from personel files. Smiling, Rae dropped it to the body's torso. "Its on the computor." Rae walked inside, her self-doubts momentarily put to the side. That was why she was here. Because her memory was almost perfect. She could recall anything.

But, she thought, most agents probably knew that information. It wasn't hard to remember. She had to remember not to reach above herself.

...Stuff that, Rae thought. I'm good at what I do. Why shouldn't I reach above myself?

Ryan stood silently outside the door of the HQ, his Beretta drawn, watching Rae examine the body of the dead agent.

He grinned as he watched Rae stiffen, and erase all outward body language signs. She must of read his personnel files. One of these days he was going to delete his. He hated it when people knew more about him than he knew about them...

The commander stepped outside and told all the agents to come in. They all silently followed him down a long hallway lined with closed, steel doors until they reached the end.

They walked through a large doorway into a rectangular conference room. The lights were off, and the seats were arranged in front of a projection screen. On the table behind the screen were several black boxes, which were all locked.

The commander motioned for them to sit, and each agent chose one of the chairs and settled in.

Ryan placed his pistol back in its holster and waited for the presentation to start...

Niomi sits down and scans the room to look at all the people who were here. Siren sat a few seats away. Ryan was at the other side of the room fiddling with pistol. A few people look shifty trying to adjust to their seats. Niomi pulled out a pad of paper and a pen getting ready to doodle or take notes, depending on the conversation.

Niomi: can't wait till this is over.

the camader starts the topic of his meeting, and everyone pays attention.

Rae sat with a piece of paper, waiting for the presentation to begin. The commander seemed to be stalling for some reason. Was someone not here? Rae's mind flicked around and landed on Iitashi. He was an agent, too. Was he supposed to be here, then?
