Not really as good as the point it puts across...

I think the red kind of clashes with how subdued most of the rest of the banner is. I don't know what would be a better color... maybe even making that red outline a little more thin would help.

As for putting something in the corner... I don't see a problem with how it is. I think a lot of people try to stuff way too many things in such a small space, and it just looks cluttered. I think that looks fine honestly.

I don't like it very much, TN. It needs more flare, needs to be more bold, the colors for it are also pretty bland in my opinion. The idea of it is cool, though. Maybe if you change it some more then the whole thing would be cool? Also, those red lines, like everyone is saying, just don't look right there. Change those to if you are thinking of redoing it.

Me, keeping an open mind (most of the time), like it. For many reasons, actually. I liked the fact that you included a message with your banner, and the fact that it holds several meanings (something I rarely do).

I like the simplicity behind it, and the fact that it's actually sort of a dormant complexity. The work that went into it was probably compairitivly easy from what you normally do, but that only shows that you know what the heck you're actually doing.

The freedom of you expressing what you want, however, is the thing I like the most. I've always felt that people can live how they want, and I usually support that. Unfortionatly, it's been shown that not everyone is as accepting of someone's choices of lifestyles. A pity.

I'm going to rate this banner, dispite the fact that Chris probably doesn't like/embrace rating banners.

Rating: 9.5 :: 10

Note: The only reason why it wasn't given a 10 is because of that color bar. Seems to out of context. Oh well. To each man his own.

Said the member who does absolutely nothing but contributes his moronic sarcasm to threads started by people who couldn't really give a damn.

As for it being a stupid assumption, I strongly disagree. If you haven't figured it out yet, there are just as many ignorant people online, as there are off, which you have clearly expressed through your wonderful (but incredibly pointless) four-word sentence.

It doesn't change the fact you can just assume he dislikes the banner because of the content rather than the quality in which it was made.

A while back, Transtic Nerve posted a picture of Gackt and his violinist naked with each other. I know TN - he was using it as an artistic reference.

But if I hadn't known him, it doesn't give me any right to automatically consider him a horny gayass or whatever.

As with what most people have said, I also do not really enjoy the red outline. If you are to have a color outline like that, I would make it some kind of blue. 0096FF is a good shade of blue for something like that. At least from what I can imagine.

Other than that I like it. :) I saw it in other posts of yours, and admired it.

[edit] Upon looking at the banner again, that blue color might blend a little much with the boy on the left's shirt. Perhaps a gradient border would work. So you have the blue-ish color outlining mostly the boy on the right, and a darker color on the boy on the left. Just a thought.

Let me adress somethings then

1) The red line was used in corospondence to the red on the guy's shirt on the right. I tried blue but it didn't do what I wanted it to do. So I picked red and I really don't even notice it myself when I initally look at the banner.

2) The banner is supposed to be and IS simplistic. Thats what I wanted. Not something bright and not something full of graphics and this that or the next. I wanted that picture with minimal amount of text to convey a simple little message, which by the way isn't much for agree or disagree, it's true.

3) The color bar at the bottom is a rainbow... the rainbow is the symbol of gays.

4) Again, it's simplistic... I meant for it to be that way. nothing more... nothing less.

I like the banner, it's cool. I actually like the red lines, and the rainbow looks cool, especialy for this banner.

On the topic it portrays, keep watch on the Rising Sun Project website for a storyline dealing with issues of similar sort...
