If you want higher attack and lower defense, then use the power rings. And there are many other good/bad rings, its up to you if they are good or bad. Doesn't make sense to me, but I dunno, you may be right. If we are talking about all of the rings, and which are good, the Green Ring is one of the best. It makes your sword do more damage, and it makes enemies weaker. Besides that, the Red and Blue Rings are good for doing double sword damage and taking half damage, respectively.
