There's been some info in few pages that they have earlied the US release date from November to October, but I haven't seen it confirmed. I just thought you'd like to know...

I've personally spoiled my pleasure of playing the game (not that I was going to have a chance in many years, though), as I have read the dialogue translation of the game, and I know [i]all[/i] about the plot. I know who Paine is, what's the deal with Lenne and [spoiler]Shuin, the Tidus-look-alike[/spoiler], and I know the four ways how the game can end (bad, normal, good and perfect ending).

It's such a stupid argument as it is. Haven't you ever heard of the NES and SNES? Apparently not. Nintendo had the games before Sony even took the SNES CD design and made their Playstation.

FF:CC is an offshoot anyway, it won't affect anything.

I's a decent game. Why? The bosses aren't so very tough unless you let them go into oversoul. X-2 is hard on puzzles though -_-. THis is basicly the world of X revisited. I hate doing favors in the game such as searching for Ronso Cubs. Gah, almsot got killed in that one. I like to put one thing straight IT'S NOT A GIRLS ONLY GAME!!!!!!!!!!!! There I said it XD.

X-2 is about Yuna finding a suspicious sphere and when she played it. The sphere showed a person locked inside a cage who suspisciously looks a lot like Tidus (who looked a lot like Riku from Kingdom Hearts in the heartless costume ^_^). She joins the Gullwings along with Rikku and Paine to find more of the spheres Yuna found.

New things: No more difficult to understand Sphere grid (YAY!). BUt you still have a garment grid, which is bassicly the same thing. THe more garment spheres you put, the more garment you can switch in battle. I like to put Yuna in the warrior garment, her attack is bolstered and she has the brotherhood sword. You still can mash the X button to quickly finished a battle. The bad thing about this game is that you're limited to 3 characters to battle with.

Decisions, Desisions: In this game you couold actaully decide what to do like in Dynasty Tactics. LIke joining New Yevon or the Youth League and supporting Air ? inc and Agents Inc.

More about the game: There's up to 5 story levels. Some options you make in previous story levels can make an event in future one. If you can make 100% in the game (doing everything the game has to offer in other words), you can get the special FMV of Yuna and Tidus. AFter beating the reguardless of getting the FMV. You'll see theres a new option in the beggining called New Game+. Use the option and you get everthing from the file you beat the game in except for the levels, they went down back lvl 1. That doesn't amtter, since you can still beat everything so easily with your maxed out garments :D.


Anybody got tips for X-2? I got one, train for 6 hours in the first stage :D. Really, I killed the first boss so quickly before he got the chance to use oversoul, when he's in oversoul, grab jumbo bag of chips becuase it'll be a while to destroy him without training 6 hours.

Well I'm at Chapter 5 right now and only have 67% complete. Heh, I'm trying to rush through the game since I'm renting it.
I'll have to go back and do everything when I buy it.

As for the game itself, I think its great. The story is well put together, the fast paced battles are a nice change, and seeing what all has changed to Spira is really neat.

Hmm, I think thats the only spoiler thingy I had.

[b]Tip:[/b] When you obtain the Cat Nip accessory (dropped by the second boss in the Bevelle underground sidequest), equip it to Yuna(Gunner). Then whenever Yuna's health is in the yellow, use Trigger Happy Lv.3 and each shot does 9999 damage points. This should make short work on many of the stronger enemies.

1. Leave Paine as a warrior. Once you get that to 100%, then you can start switching her around, but that's her best garment for boss fights (in my opinion). Use the Still of Night garment grid for her, too. That usually helps me.

2. Use Gun Mage for Rikku. I find Scan useful against enemies that just won't seem to die. And it ups her health a bit... I think... Equip her with the Menace of the Deep garment grid. She's good with Black Magic.

3. Yuna is best as a Black Mage. Make sure you learn Black Magic Lv. 2 and 3 to make her faster. Use the Heart Reborn garment grid while using the Black Mage. That way you can use both types of magic!! I find that [i]extremly[/i] useful when I'm out of Pheonix Down or Potions.

Okay, you don't [i]have[/i] to do that, but it's helped me so far. I'm a little stuck right now, though. How do you use their special dresspheres? I've gotten them for Yuna, Paine, and Rikku, but haven't been able to use them. What buttons do you press?! Either I'm using the wrong buttons or I need a new controller.

[color=indigo]If you like the FF series and you were a fan of FFX then you will probably enjoy FFX-2. I enjoy RPGs quite a bit but I was reluctant to buy FFX-2, so I did what any self respecting young person would, I asked Santa for it :) So far the game has been surprisingly fun so I thought I?d mention its good features.

The Garment Grid and Dress Sphere System- The battle system is actually quite fun to use and is easy once you get the hang of it. It is nice to be able to change properties during a battle, especially when you want to use an attribute, not a character type.

ATB system- The ATB system in FFX-2 is by far the quickest and most complex yet. It is neat how you can actually halt an enemy from attacking by casting haste and attacking in chains. The only downside is that your characters can get in the way of your own characters.

Limited Main Characters- I am glad that you don?t have to worry about advancing a ton of main characters. I am one of those odd people that has to complete every aspect of a video game so I find it nice that I am not going to have to build up three or four characters I will never use.

The Graphics and Mini Scenes- The game is loaded with cuts and story lines which adds quite a bit to the game.

I can answer your question, though I don't own the game (I just know much about it): you have to change through ALL of the Dress Spheres attached to the same Garment Grid as the Special Dress, leaving it the last - that way it will "open" to use. The fastest way to do this is to simply have a 2-slot Garment Grid, so you don't really have to move through anything. ;)

So it seems that not a lot of people have gotten the game...I already beat the game with 100% completion...since I have the guide as well...to tell the truth...it was a huge waste of time...the "perfect ending" wasn't all that great...however the good ending was quite satisfying...the perfect ending isn't a high quality scene anyway...in my opinion...it was very short and not worth the trouble...but it feels great knowing you did everything possible in the game...
