Final Fantasy 10 Too Easy

Yea i definatly think it was easy. One o the things i thought made th game less callenging was the fact that you were fully healed at every save. What happened to trying desperatly to get gilfor healing items? and then getting extremly p$ssed off when no store was around for cities? The game was awesome, dont get me wrong. but easy + short. oh well.

Actually, the game wasn't too short if you gather every hidden item and summon in the game. I would say that the length was fairly typical of a role-playing game. Which, was impressive considering the cinematic nature of the game (Final Fantasy has always been cinematic for its time though).

Some of the enemies were difficult to beat too. Especially when you combine monsters in the Calm Lands. Without the appropriate magic spells, you have no chance of surviving. Some of the hybrid monsters are more difficult than the Final Fantasy VII's Weapon creatures, as they can annihilate your entire party in a single attack.

It might be easier than the others, but there are a few battles that are hard. But I disagree about there being not enough side quests. If you do them to plan, then the monster arena should take a while, there is Chocobo raising, the legendary weapons, chasing Quactars, and don't forget Blitzball. I could spend hours playing Blitzball alone.

I agree with Zanarkand here, you could spend a lot of time on blitzball but yeah i was so disapointed in the end boss i mean all the little thing did was cast a gravity attack and cure it's self but one of the hard bosses for me was Semoure on Mount. Gagazet, i don't know why he was hard but he just was.

I must agree some of those monsters in the calm land were quite hard, in fact I did think they were hard.

And I must agree I still love playing Blitzball to this very day.

And I personaly love the puzzels at the temples. And in my opinion, aside from the monsters in the calm lands those puzzels were the hardest part of the game. I also enjoyed them the most.

But I still think that the game was too short. Maybe thats because there was no over world to travel around in. There were just places, and a map once you got the airship.

I'd agree with the small world bit. Still, we need to remember a lot of memory is eaten up in the completely 3D enviroments. And Square let a little pride get in the way by keeping FFX a one-disk game. I still hold that FFX could have been better if it had a little more. A little more character development, a few more sidequests, etc.
It has Auron, though--that's the best part! :D

And Blitzball annoyed the crapola outta me.

I think that Final Fantasy 10 was the easiest of all the Final Fantasy's. It took me about a week, when Final Fantasy 7 took me about 3 Months. Reply if you think this is true :worried:
There's no way that you beat FFX in just a week. I'm sorry, but that's just BS, unless you somehow knew exactly what to do....AND not to mention had at LEAST 10 hours STRAIGHT EVERY DAY!!!! If you want to say you beat it in 30 minutes, whatever.....I can understand you saying that it was easy, but even with it being easy, you can't just beat it in a week. Ok, maybe I'm wrong, maybe there have been some people that have beat it in ONE day or whatever, but the game, even with knowing what to do, takes a minium of about 70 hours. But you proably skipped all the side quests and stuff...that would explain a lot.

Like I said before, I'm not trying to be rude, but I just don't beleive you. It took me a couple of months, counting the pointless hours of school. And I spent most of my 135 hours searching for ALL of the hidden items and legendary weapons, and getting my Blitz team perfect, and a bunch of other crap. I'm guessing you skipped over all of that. Now it makes sense. Did you by any chance have the game guide with you while you played?

And I'll say just one more thing: If you have your legendary weapons (everyone's) with all their power up items, that DOES make the game too easy. I beat the last Seymour with ONE HIT from Tidus. Jecht I beat with one hit from Auron then one more from Wakka. The Aeons pissed me off since my Magus Sisters kept killing Tidus every time it was his turn....

Easy there with the final boss talk--thso could be considered spoilers, ya know.

Auron+First Strike+Flee+MUCH Hp+Crest and Sigil'ed Weapon=Great Warrior, Easy Game, heh.

And yes, I agree that the "heal at the save spot" bit was a little cheap.

It seemed pretty easy to me, although I spent alot of time penting up my blitzball team to undefeatable status (which I will stand by until the end!), the game took me about eighty hours. I had all of the hidden aeons, so the last boss wasn't hard.
I hated Yunalesca though. I kept running out of holy waters. (After I finally beat her, I bought eighty holy water to assure that I would never lose to a battle like that again.)

Another boss that I hated was the first time you faced off with Seymour in Macalnia. Now that I look back on it, he wasn't all that hard, but back then, I couldn't believe how hard he was.

I also didn't like when you fought Seymour Flux (On Gagazet Mountain) either, but he wasn't too hard.
Thank you. :)

I admire the fact that the programmers made sure that the "capturing monsters for the arena" wasn't too easy. The weapons were just weak enough to land the difficulty between not too hard and just plain annoying, heh.

*beats Spikey over head a few times with a Nerf Bat* That's a SPOILER! Some people don't KNOW
you're supposed to fight the "kindly" Seymour.
I didn't when I first started. But it was spoiled for me here back in early August when I first got the game, so I wasn't shocked/betrayed by
Seymour being a boss
.
It was spoiled for me, please don't spoil it for others.

Well if you buy Jumal straight away, then you wouldn't have much of a problem, lol.
No-one can score past him (he's a Goalie) as he's about Level 10 whilst everyone else is still at Level 3.

Go Jecht Shot, whoo!

Why, thank you Spikey for spoiling it. I'm sure I'll have a great time knowing the friggin' game all the way through when I eventually get it. *sighs*

Please, everyone remember those spoilers, it can really really ruin a good game. :(
