It's about a girl who was reading a card deck that was supposed to tell her who her guardian angel was. Unfortunately, she had a blank card. Then Gabriel tells her that her angel must ranked higher than the archangel (although he doubts it) and he agrees to be her temporary guardian. Things try to kill her and accuse her of hiding behind a female guise. It kinda sounds like angel sanctuary to me. I might try to find it, I'm intrigued.
