Ben Holiday
This is a game for the PS2 it's been getting fairly good reviews so far. Has anybody seen it in action?
Domon
Yeah i rented it. The ground combat is good and the spacial combat rules!!!!! Even if you get hit by enemy fire in space its cool!!!! But the downside is the aiming. But the rest of it is great. But back onto the aiming you just have to get used to aiming the circle button. Nimrod
I bought the game. I agree that the aiming is pretty bad, killing enemies with a gun is more based on luck and timing than actual skill. Once you get to know when to shoot the game starts to be fun though. Also, the game is ,fortunately, very long. Between the Feds & Zeon there are almost 250 missions plus an arcade and versus mode to boot. For any Gundam fan this is greatest Gundam game I've ever played and I would highly suggest purchase.
Domon
Yeah i have to agree, Fed vs. Zeon and Journey to Jaburo are my favorite PS2 games.
Amphion
I might have to pick it up. I hated JTJ. Liked Zeonic Front. So maybe this is the one that takes the cake. The spacial combat is what I have been waiting for. I heard they even got the physics right, so space combat is a little tricky. I guess I will go buy it this weekend since everyone says its good. Ben Holiday
I shall try to rent this asap since it seems to have broken away from some of the problems of the previous Gundam games. How many different suit types are available?
Domon
Well when you start out on the Federation's side you start out with a ground type GM then you move up the ladder to getting the infamous RX-78-2 Gundam (Sidenote when you fight with the gundam, i would always get attacked more often and my gundam would be unavailable for oh about 3-5 missions, it takes a long time for the gundam to be repaired.) Oh and you also can capture enemy mobile suits like the Zaku II or a Rick Dom, i got those two along with a Zock. I really love the spacial combat, even though the camra whisaws around when you lock onto an enemy, but when an enemy is behind you and you are using the gundam, it does the exact same poses Amuro did when he fought in space. *drools and thinks about buying Fed vs Zeon.*
