Shy
Yeah, this is your chance to honor your favorite video games using the art of poetry. Post your own, and critique the poetry of others. I know how excited everyone must be, so let's begin... Ode to a Plumber Searching, hunting... for the woman he loves Into the sea and up the beanstalk Never stopping, never resting Where can she be? Dodging bullets and fighting monsters To find her, to save her With a flower in hand the hero continues Down the tunnel and across the pits The brave one will never cease Until he finds his love Where can she be? Finally he reaches the fortress The girl will be saved Or will the mighty monster destroy the hero? Into the air he jumps And over the monster he goes With an axe he slays the beast And the day is saved Sorry, our princess is in another castle!
zidane11
I'm not really good at poetry but I like any kind of poetry about games. I really like the ending. Lol. I'll try to think of a poem but I don't think I'll be able to.

Mitch
Nice idea shy. Here I'll make one on up right here now. Aeris's Requiem I thought life to be a journey an endless amouting to find and as I traveled through the vortex I found my true love that I behold his blonde streaky hair beamed out upon me and when he was by my side I felt as if I controlled the very essence of time and as I stood there standing praying away for the very planet that supported me I felt Cloud within me even then as that slash went through my skin my last thoughts of what could have been what never became reality a lost love of life buried in one mortal wound of slice but sacrifice was worth the price paid out in lives and cries as time flows down in an endless twine and I am but a spirit now still my heart aches about for that lost love untitled forever on I just made that one up...
