[color=red][b]I have listened to MxPx for the longest time, I just have never started a topic about them. Silly me. Anyone else here like them? They play Punk Rock and I think they are excellent. Some of thier best songs, I think, are "Punk Rawk Show" and "My Mistake". If you never heard of them, you should check them out. They have been around for 10 years, I think...[/b][/color]

[COLOR=darkred][B]Woohoo, a topic to post in finally. MxPx, is awesome! They aren't the best of bands. But they tickle my fancy, so I listen to them alot. "Responsibilty" was the first song I had ever heard from them. It continues to be one of my favorites. Heh, I still have yet to buy any of there albims. I have had my eye on their 10 year cd for a while now though. [/B][/COLOR]

I don't think a good band is suddenly crappy because it's "mainstream." It's not like MxPx has changed their sound in order to fit in, they've always sounded like they do.

I like MxPx depending, at least they do what they do well. I could so without some of the "I love Jesus" songs, but that's a personal matter lol.

I personally think their studio CDs are horrbile, as they are just not mixed well and the singing seems off. MxPx is awesome live, and I'd recommend their live CD "At the Show" to just about anyone. That's the only CD of theirs I can really get into.

Im surprised that they are good live, cause Ive heard alot of punk bands live and they suck pretty hardcore. Its just not as good as the album.

Meh, MXPX used to be pretty good for a Christian-ish punk band. But they are soooooooo mainstream now.. I didn't care to see them at the Warped Tour. I think I was laying on a hill and they happened to be on stage at the time though.. I took the time to see bands like Death by Stereo, Anti-Flag, Thrice, Flogging Molly, NOFX (though they [i]really[/i] sucked.. they should know better than to play sober, lol), we were going to see the Casualties but Bad Religion was on at the same time and we saw Bad Religion instead, Reel Big Fish (a little mainstream but they are still good), I watched the Mighty Mighty Bosstones for way up high cause I was playing on the Pirate slip 'n' slide thing, lol. There were some other bands too, but I dont remember their names.. I think Pistol Grip was one..

My sister likes them, I don't, but I don't really like Pop Punk at all. Their are other reasons I don't like them but I won't get into that right now.

i love punk, but not mxpx. in my opinion, i think they really stink.
