Sara
::tries to follows Piro's directions, falls into a tangled mess on the floor:: _ _ I was at 'No-Lifer' status over a year ago... ::waves at long forgotten OB with the pretty colored stars:: Tho' perhaps it's a bit less than flattering to have such a thing displayed every time I post.... And I get the unfortunate feeling the pair of you are mocking me....

Rain
My sister is the dancer in our family, I'm, well lets just say that I'm "a little less co-ordinated" than her;). In gym, we had to do ballroom dancing. We did this dance (dont bother asking me the name) where we were in a big circle with a partner and you'd do this dance thing and then the girls would move around to the next partner. Sometimes you'd get an immature guy who didn't want to hold a girl's hand so you'd have to do the dance by yourself...it was strange:D. But that was only for one lesson...in year 10 next year we have to do dancing for a whole term *shudders*
sailor stardust
Originally posted by Cera ......and I suddenly come across directions for learning to waltz..... :p
I can't thank u enuf for the waltz steps, piromunkie,I actually understand it now~!!See,at class they just threw us w/ partners and told us to follow, and every1's like,":lecture:do your 1-2-3's!Only to the side!" (In our first dance,we get in this big circle and do 1-2-3's around the circle, and then do this really cool over and under peoples arm thing) but just to tell ya,their plans for the waltz didn't go to well,I was actually thrown into a table by this stupid kid who wasn't paying attention,so he fell and I got pushed away into a table~!!IT HURT!But yea,I didn;t get what they meant by 1-2-3 to the side, and everybody was getting ticked at me,so thank you~!!Let's see how I do monday, given we waltz that day Waltzing is alot harder then it looks,my best guyfriend was tryin w/ me one day before I joined and I fell and went flying across the floor (WHOA!Maybe I oughta stop waltzing before I break sumthin....) amibasuki
I know a teeeeeny bit of the waltz and swing stuff. man, swing is fun. I can't dance freestyle though, I look silly :cross:. and I don't go for the whole grinding thing (if you could even call that dancing), just cuz I don't. but yeah, swing dancing is fun.....
Chaos
Is moshing considered dancing? If it is, then I'm a damn good dancer. :cross:
Queen Asuka
I LOVE TO DANCE! Dancing is a big part of my life right now. I'm one of the Captain's of my Dance Team at high school and we are such an awesome squad. People have asked us if we took professional lessons, which we dont. I used to take Scottish aka Highland dancing when I was younger, back in Middle School. It was fun, but I couldn't master the technique. Just watch those dancers at the Highland Festivals..it'll blow your mind.
Juu
^^ yay! another captian!! Blah... I can't think of myself as really the captian. All I do is make the routines... :p sooo... that doesn't really count, does it?
Queen Asuka
In my opinion, being the officer is SUPER hard. You have to choreograph and everything and that is just so complicated because you don't want to steal everything that's already been done and you can't repeat stuff that you did the year before or everyone will know. It DOES count. Plus, you have to go through the pains of trying to watch everyone and tell them what they are doing wrong and fixing it and then watching them make that same mistake over and over again. It's so stressful, but it's so worth it. And you made the team and you are the Captain, so you should be proud. Like me. I'm so happy with myself because I never thought I could do it.
