Cartoon network or Japanese?

Erm, there are things that I like and dislike about each of the versions.

The dubbed version allows me to watch the show in a language that I can understand, thus not missing anything by looking away for a few seconds. The subbed version, on the other hand, requires undivided attention so that you can read the subtitles if you want to know what is going on. Sitting on the couch, far from the tv, and without my glasses, I might as well put on mute. Now, how many here like to watch their programs muted (without subs, duh)?

And yet, as many have said, the subbed version gives you everything possible to give in the series. You hear the dialogue that was ment for the show, other than something that producers edited to fit America's youth.

So, once again, I like both, though I would much prefer something like the Japanese version but in my language. :)

Yeah, it kind of looks like people are mindlessly picking subbed as their favorites just to act cool and be like everyone else, but whatever.

Well, seeing as how my anime funds account is pretty small, I stick with the english versions of most anime. I wish I had enough money to try out the some Japanese versions of some of the anime I have, but I think I am too lazy to really try and sit there and read all of the subtitles ^_^ sorry~

I suppose for a few movies I will try to check out the Japanese audio and check out the subtitles and. . ya =) So we'll see.

I cant speak Japanese. Thats the answer to why i watch the dubs. They're the only ones i can understand. The only thing I have against dubs are that they cut out bad words. I mean, kids hear it all the time from their parents and do they scream, "Ooh he/she said a bad word!"? nope, so im guessing they wouldn't on DBZ either.
