Kain sat up in his bed talking to the vampire.

????: We brought you back to life Kain.

Kain: For what purpose?

????: We need your help. The Sarafan have taken over most if not all of Nosgoth.

Kain: Give me an army and I will fight!

????: I would Kain but you are weak and our numbers are low.We have been forced to hide until the time where we can regroup.

Kain: How low of a vampire. To hide in fear. And what's so repulsive is you fear these d*mn humans!!They are our food and nothing more!

????: If you will not help then we might as well send you back to the Underworld.

Kain: ..........Fine I will help you.

????: Good. Now come with me.You are weak and need to feed and you need to paractice.

Kain walks out of the room and down to the courtyard where someone is being held captive.Kain sees the human and automaticaly kills him and drinks the blood.

Kain: Yes!I feel much stronger now.

????: Good now let's continue.

Ariadne leaned against the window, her fingers running down the window sill.

Rain...

Ariadne walked away, as her hair let a wave of raven hair flutter past her mirror.

No Reflection...

She sat in a chair, as a dark figure waited for her, putting his feet back on the ground.

"So what is your decision?" The man asked, clasping his hands on his lap.

"You will see captain. For now I have some... personal issues that must be settled. I will join shortly" She said, her ice blue eyes smirking at him.

She poured him some tea, as she smiled.

"Ariadne, our troops will be leaving tomorrow. And my men are growing suspicious. They think you've killed one of our men."

Just then, she felt her fingers slip on the tea pot. The glasses rammed into one another, showing her sudden shock.

"now why would they say that?" She replied, turning her back from the captain.

"I'm not sure. They found his body on the floor of his room, with some..." He rose from his seat. Her pointed at her lips. "A familiar colour of lipstick on his lips..."

Ariadne smirked.

"Why must I be accused of a crime I didn't commit?" She asked, her cold eyes piercing through his.

"I never said you did it, I just said the crew was getting sus-"

Just then, Ariadne put her hand a few inches over his face, as a blue glow came from it.

"Then why don't you go to hell just as he did." She said, he glow pulling him off the ground. "Sweet dreams captain."

Just then, the glow ended, and the captain fell to the floor.

Ariadne crossed her hands over her chest, and disappeared, a crimson rose left where she had stood...

Lauren sat in a Pile of Hay in a Dirty Barn lined with Dead Chickens and Cows. She was gnawing on a piece of Wheat when Someone entered,

"How was your feast,Lauren?"

The man asked Cautiously,Standing in the shadows so Lauren couldnt see him.Although he knew she was on his Team,No Vampire could withstand the thirst of Human Blood is He Or She is hungry.

"Very Nice..."

Was all she said,Her Red eyes glowing in the Darkness to the Man.After the Silence Harold(Yeah...thats his name) left silently.Lauren knew something was wrong in her old world. She didnt know what, though,She could only feel evil through her Veins,Since she knew what it was like.

"You know what..."

She said outloud to herself,

"I'm gonna take a walk."

She spit out the wheat and jumped of the Hay.Pushing open the doors she swept out,Draping a Hood over her face to Cover her Pale hiding and her Fangs from anyone who looked upon her...

"Maybe..."

She thought aloud,

"I can sneak into the hospital...And find someone who has just died..."

She said, trailing off,Turning the Other direction to the hospital.

Sorry for the short post,I've got to go.

Siren pulled back, letting the lifeless corpse fall to the floor... She licked the blood from her fingers and made a face... The blood of a drunk always had that slightly musty taste... Similar to vampiric blood... Like it was old... She sighed and straightened, not bothering to hide the body... Let someone find it... It would only spur this war on it's way... Siren turned out of the ally and made for the tavern down the way... Maybe she'd have some fun in there... She walked past the hospital and was jostled by a figure in a black cloak... She recognized vampiric energy and continued on, laughing softly to herself... She strolled into the tavern, deftly evading drunk and searching hands... She slid into a seat at the bar and ordered a sake... Pouring some into the saucer, Siren drank it down... Not long after she heard heavy staggering footfalls behind her and a rough callused hand was placed on her waist... His buddies snickered and he began in a drunken slur

Drunken man: I've got a nice warm room upstairs just big enough for the two of us...

He slid his hand down suggestively and Siren grabbed it and placed it on the bar... Before his fogged mind could comprehend what was happening, she had pinned it to the bar with his own dagger... He screamed and collapsed, tearing his ruined hand from the blade... A ripple went through the tavern as one of his friends surged forward, impaling himself on the blade he hadn?t realized she had drawn... Siren smirked and he slid from the blade... She bent and wiped the blood on his clothes...

Siren: You want some too?

The remaining men shook their heads and hurriedly moved away... Siren smiled and finished off her drink... She paid the barkeeper and stood... On her way out, eyes followed her but no hands reached out... She stepped out into the night and stretched

Raellyra strolled through the village, gazing up at the stars. Diamonds on black velvet. Her long fingers idly fiddled with the handle of the dagger. She took in her surroundings. There were many things there. Houses, hovels, huts, a tavern. The tavern seemed to be doing very good business, judging from the roudy noise coming from it. It was like a tiny doll village. A smile played around her lips. She was certainly in a whimsical mood tonight. Feeling a presence behind her, Raellyra slowly turned.

"Hey there," the drunk slurred, his eyes roaming over her pristine white dress, and innocent face.

She greated the drunk like she would a noble. She knew this game. Curtsying, she replied, "How do you do?"

Startled, the man automatically replied. "Yeah, I'm good." Raellyra straightened to her full height again, gracefully pushing a lock of fine, pale blonde hair back over her shoulder. Her baby blue eyes assessed his gullability. Drunks were always the easiest, and this man was no different.

"Would you be so kind as to walk me back to my cottage? I've lost my escort, and am afraid of leaving by myself. Such a noble man as yourself would be able to protect me, surely?" Oh yes, she knew this game. Treat a mand like a Lord, and he'd go out of his way to take you to privacy.

The man stumbled over himself to accept her offer. "Why yes, M'lady, of course I can...which direction is your cottage?"

She lowered her head to conceal her sudden ruthless smile. He was hers. "It is by the forest, Sir."

Taking her arm in his, he started walking in that direction. "What name do you go by, Lady?"

Raellyra sighed. He was rather coherent, for a drunk. "I go by the name of Raellyra. And yours, kind sir?"

"Well, I'm called Bill around these parts. My name's actually William, though."

"I see. And, William, do you have any family?"

"None. They all died in the winter just passed."

Perfect. A loner. The easiest to take. "Come, my cottage is just up here." She started quickening her step. The lust for blood was going to consume her if she didn't feed soon. Spying a private spot, she led him into an alley. "Thank you for your gracious service, William. I simply must reward you somehow." She paused. "But I have no money. How else could I reward you?" She could see the wheels ticking over in his head. Jumping in before he could say anything, she exclaimed, "I know! Come here." Smiling, William walked towards her. Pulling him down to her height, Raellyra smiled, sticking a dagger into his stomach, changing into her real self. She grew fangs, and she started gasping with her need for blood. She drank from his neck. It was so old. Classically so. A vampire drinking from the neck. It was, of course, one of the easiest places to reach. Finishing at last, she pushed the body away from her, staring down at it as it fell.

A flash of red caught her eyes. Blood on snow. No, it wasn't, instead it was blood on linen. "Great," she said out loud. "This is all your fault, William." She pouted. She had blood on her dress.

Siren had watched from the shadows as the vampiress in white led the drunkerd to his death in a dark ally... She smirked and crossed the street... She leaned aginst the stone and watched as the woman droped her prey...

Raellyra: Great... This is all your fault, William...

Siren laughed and Rae whirled to face her

Siren: That's gonna stain ya know...

She indicated to her own clothes

Siren: Black is so much better for this line of work...

Siren steped into the ally and circled her...

Siren: Your new to this arn't you?

She stoped in front of her... Siren tugged off one of her fingerless gloves and offered her hand, pale in the moon light...

Siren: Siren Kojia...

Athenos stood on the bar along with a line of other merried drunks, they all started kicking the air in a sluggish version of the CanCan, singing the lyrics of a long forgotten song.

One by one the drunks slipped off among gales of laughter, finally Athenos, who was totally sober, was left alone. He finished his line and pretended to slip, landing heavilly on his rump. The bar roared with laughter and Athenos was lifted to his feet, many a hand slapping on his back. He chuckled and stumbled out of the bar.

A few minutes later, once out of sight, he started walking normally, fading away into blackness as the shadows grew long.

Why did he go to the tavern if he never drank? He was bored, four hundred years of watching mortals evolve can do that to a guy, the onlyt place it seemed he could frequent was the tavern, the only faces that could recognise him were ones blinded by alcohol.

As for his meals, Athenos preferred to avoid taking advantage of the drunk or poor. IT was much more fun to stalk the miserly or 'evil' mortals, no matter what connections they had.

He chuckled, evil? Imagine that, calling mortals evil when he was the scourge of all that was living. Amusing really...

on the way to the Hospital,Lauren bumped into a woman.Obviously One of Lauren's Kind. She said nothing, though.Just pierced into Siren's Eye with Her Red eyes. She wasnt afraid to show them infront of a Vampire. She continued on,and in minutes,She was standing infront of the Medical Center. With the greatest of ease, she climbed up the Hospital's White walls and crawled t\like a gecko to one of the high windows. She flicked it open and crawled inside...

"How lucky can you get..."

Lauren smiled...infront of her 10 people having about

"TAke Me away from this World!"

Or,

"Kill me now God!"

She was in the Insanity Department. She floated silently to the ground and walked over to a Man with no Left Leg and a Missing Eye.

"Excuse me..sir.Did you just say you'd like to leave this Cruel World?"

Lauren asked poliltly.

"Yes!This world has done nothing for Me!Please..."

He begged,Grabbing onto the collor of Lauren's Cloak,

"Pl-"

"No Problem..."

She said quietly. She pointed to the other people,

"Leave...Now"

They were all transfixed by her voice, and in a solitary manner,They left the room like Mindless Zombies.
Lauren smiled and Removed the Hood off her Face. Her eyes glowing like Rubys, her Pale skin glowing. She let her teeth grow out and lowered herself to the Man's Neck.

******Five Minutes Later******

Climbing out of the Window,Satisfyed,Lauren made her way back to the Barn,Promising herself that she would never drink the blood of A good Human...Just Psyco's and Evil Dudes.

******Inside the Hospital******

"Ol' John Kiko Must've finally lost it..."

Said a Doctor, talking to his assitant while Draping a White sheet over the now dead Man.None of them cared to look at the Bite holes on his neck.

Lauren sighed and climbed up into her 'Nest' 5 dead Chickens lay scattred around.Harold Filliard might've been losing plenty of Hens, roosters and Cows feeding Lauren.But..She was a Vampire...And Vampire's Need to be fed with blood when they want it.

Like a shadow, Jaudiar drifted through the trees, stalking her prey. He had made a serious mistake....intruding upon her territory.... As soon as his mind had cleared itself from the hateful memories.....she pounced. In a trice, she was on him, teeth bared, claws fully extended. He dropped to the ground like a stone, eyes filled with horror. Jaudiar's hair flew out behind her, giving her the air of one of the dryads of the shadows.

Man: Please....don't....

Jaudiar: It is all but done...

With gentle fingers the beguiled her cruel intentions, she stroked his pale skin...then unbottoned his shirt. Then she lowered her lips to his bare chest and peirced his skin. His eyes flew open and his mouth opened in a silent scream of horror. She fed from him slowly at first, then her eyes shone red and her skin became as light as the moon. In that moment, he was paralyzed with the mind numbing drug of shock...all pain left him.....as his spirit sailed for Hell.
After she had finished, she stood up, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. Humming the hunting song of the wolves, she walked through the forest silently, her features returning to normal........

Raellyra sized up the woman. She knew this line of work well. Flicking her hair back, Raellyra grasped Siren's hand, shinking it.

"Actually, no, I'm not new to this. I'm three hundred and thirty-seven. Possibly older than you. I just" she indicated her clothes, "prefer white."

Siren raised her eyebrow. It probably seemed an inane thing to do for a vampire. It was true. But Raellyra always got a rush, seeing blood on white. White was so pure. So innocent. "I'm known as Raellyra."

"Why do you wear white?"

"It gives the impression of purity. It lends itself to the myth of Innocence." Raellyra started walking again, staring up at the sky. "It puts many off their guard."

Picking up the hem of her dress daintily, she started walking with Siren. "And yourself? Are you new at this?"

Athenos continued down the street, whistling to himself. He melted out of the shadows when his glowing eyes spotted potential prey, a moneylender surrounded by four bodyguards. This could be amusing, very amusing indeed..

The got within five paces before the two sword bearing men noticed him. They advanced to threaten him, but collapsed, clutching their burning minds. Athenos pinned them to the ground, only releasing them from his grip when they slipped unconcious. No reason to cause any irreperable harm. The two bowmen unshouldered their bows, their employer screamed, a high pitched wail that even Athenos paused to raise an eyebrow at. The two bowmen slumped to their knees, arrows flying off harmlessly down the street, before Athenos reached them.

The now undefended portly gentleman shuddered, realising his fate, he summed up his inner strength to say something couragious, Athenos didn't give him the chance, rendering him unconcious with a swift blow to the head.

Athenos continued whistling as he heaved the man onto his shoulder, cutting the man's corodtid artery and drinking his fill. He threw the man into the nearest alley to leave his heart to pump the reast of his blood into the gutter.

Athen faded again into the shadows, whistling into the wind.

Jaudiar dropped down from her vantage point. She had seen enough. Athen turned and found himself looking straight into her eyes. She smiled and let her eyes close slightly. He felt a soft pulsing and realized her mind was plucking at his delicately...so gently in fact, he didn't realize it until she was nearly completey.

"Hello Athen... I've been waiting for you."

"Been some time Jaudiar..."

"Of course. I knew I had to see the world before I tied myself down to another job."

"......like?"

"Don't know...but there's something big coming. I can feel it in the air."

"The blood has changed somewhat lately..."

"So what do you think Athen?"

"It's strange...I've seen some vampires...but none like you."

"Or none quite as old?"

Jaudiar winked rougishly. She was at least 500, and had seen plenty of the world...Athen chuckled, she was teasing him again.

"Well...not yet Jaudiar."

"Don't hide it from me. Do I really look old?"

Elysian gently slid onto a bar stool with the grace of a cat, and traced patterns on the rough wood. "Pretty little maids all in a row," each place she touched, a small replica of several different young women rose up, and stood perfectly still. "Tip one over, and they all fall like Dominoes . . ." She tapped one with her index finger, and each small figurine fell over, eventually lying prostrate on the counter. "Night night." She blew, and they all dissipated into dust.

The bartender came out of the back, wiping his hands on a towel. He was one of those short, pudgy men who everyone liked. Also, there was the small fact that he was vampiric . . . "Same as last century, Sian?"

Elysian licked her fingers, and grinned at the bartender. "Let's play with a different card today, shall we? I took a walk tonight, and the moon started whispering dreadful things in my ear . . ."

"Really eh?"

"Pss, pss, pss . . . you can't tell. Seven will die tonight, and no one will know . . . pss, pss, pss . . ." She giggled insanely. "The moon loves whispering blasphemies in my ear . . . only for me. Shhhhh."

With that said, she picked herself up from the bar stool, and on her way out, kicked the local drunkard of the tavern in the head with her high heels for reaching where he wasn't supposed to. "No tea for Mr. Samuel tonight . . ."

She left him bleeding profusely. Once out on the street, she looked around, her pupils adjusting to the moonlight. Arcane symbols drawn in the air, and then Elysion sighed happily.

A tallish, sober man walked past Elysion, and he smiled, linking eyes with her. Elysion giggled, and motioned with a manicured finger for him to follow her. Hypnotism was great somedays . . .

The man slumped down the wall, his mouth hanging open, and his eyes wide in the raptured ecstasy of pain.

She left him behind in the dinky hotel room. She'd had her moment of fun, it was all she needed. Ms. Edith would be left with the spoils . . . a few more arcane symbols, and Elysion headed out to find a few vampire playmates.

Athen grinned, 'I wouldn't know, oldish maybe, but old? No I don't think so.' He laughed and continued walking, Jaudiar beside him.

He sighed, 'I'm younger than you, and yet I'm bored out of my skull. Seriously, it's getting tiring, I mean, I know it's all very good and well to snap a mortals spine, throw it aside and proclaim, 'Fetch me another plaything, this one seems to be broken.' We all love doing that, but now it's getting boring.'

Jaudiar rolled her eyes as Athen continued to ramble

'See thing I want to know is,' he paused, feeling the tickling sensation in his mind again,'Jaudiar, stop that, I'm trying to keep a straight line of thought here and you are definitely not helping me.'

Siren laughs at the startled look on her face and turns dissapearing into the shadows... She steped out of them close to the tavern where she had been moments ago... She turned and started down the street, looking for the others she knew were out here... Her feet stirred dust as she walked silently towards the outskirts of town... She might return to her home now... Her head snapped up and her eyes flashed... Two shadowy figures stood down the way, and Siren knew immedietly she had been detected...

Siren: No use going back now...

She walked closer and felt somthing tickling at her mind... Unconcoiusly she slid up a barrier, even though she knew it would be no use... She knew who that mind belonged to as soon as it brushed hers... Jaudir... She projected her thoughts and wondered if she could still pick them up

Ariadne continued walking, as the rain poured down unto her black umbrella.

She opened her eyes, as a few drops of rain landed on her cheek.

She wiped it away, as she continued down the cobblestone drive, a few horses trotting past. The wind blew her raven hair back, drenching the ends with rain. She stopped in front of a large manor, as she walked up its stairs.

She reached inside a tiny box, and pulled out some letters.

"Dear Miss. Kittana,
We would like to inform you we will be leaving the port in a few weeks. The captian has unfortunately been struck with an unknown illness, and will have to be out for a few months. Please pack your things and prepare for our departure.

Yours Truly,
General Vidricksburg." Ariadne read out loud, murmuring low under her breath.

She frowned when she saw where it wrote, 'A few months'...

"That spell was supposed to paralyize him for one year... Then I could send him and the general to hell in less than an hour.."

She shrugged, and walked inside. Ariadne hung her coat on a tall rack, and took off her shoes, placing her small feet on the cold, marble floor.

A young man greeted her, giving her a tight hug.

"Ariadne, welcome back. How was your errand?" He asked, giving her a sweet smile.

"The errand went pretty well. My sister is to recover in three weeks." She replied, trying her best not to show she was lying.

"Amazing. Did you do anything else?"

"no, just visited my sister in the hospital.." She lied once more, smiling back.

She hugged him again, and walked up the stairs, towards her room. Once she was out of sight, she smirked.

Fool. Once again I have my prey within my grasp...

She thought, standing by the balcony.

She watched the rain continue to fall, ripples following each drop...

Raellyra started walking towards the energy. She could feel the crackling of mind-whispers. To normal mortals, it seemed like the wind. To vampires, it was energy in its purest form. Brain waves. Probing slightly, she felt her mind slide along a barrier. Immediately, she knew whom it was. Jaudiar. An old one. Smiling, she made her way to Jaudiar and her companians, one of which she recognised as the vampire from before.

She could her the third person in her mind. Flicking her mind back and forward, she realised it was Athen.

Athen: You've been sloppy Raellyra.

Siren laughed, a flowing, silver laugh... Like a stream in the moonlight... She felt slightly hungry as she watched the three interact mentally... Drunks never filled you up... She made a face... She hated that aftertaste too... Siren stretched and caught sight of a teenager walking away from the tavern... She reached into his mind... She was clumsy and heavy handed compared to Jaudiar and the boy started and looked around... He has noticed her trespass on his mind... She scowled and pulled the information from him... He had been told to bring his father home from the bar... Siren smiled... He wasn?t drunk and he was at the age when mortals are quite unstable... She called over her shoulder to the others...

Siren: ... I'll... Be right back...

She slipped down the road and got in front of him... She stood in the middle of the road and watched as he came closer... (OOC: Changing my gifts to Entrance: the ability to captivate and/or create feelings and images in a mortal and Shadow travel: the ability to move from place to place by darkness) She projected lust and desire into him as she moved towards him... He was soon lost in the amounts she had flooded him with and would have probably gone after a passing stray... She placed a hand behind his neck and drew him to her... She exposed his neck and pierced his skin... He felt only rapture and ecstasy as she fed... She placed memories of a bottle of vodka, a cheep motel room and a pretty girl into his mind... She may not have the skills to search a mind, but she could definitely change one... She pulled away, The coppery taste of his blood still fresh in her mouth... She picked up his listless body and stepped into the shadows... They appeared on the motel roof and Siren entered through the roof access door... She placed him in the bathroom and pulled her touch from his mind... She faded back into the shadows and reappeared near the others...

Siren: Back...

Anima watched boredly from one of the traveling carts as her fellow preformers and misfits preformed tricks for the drunk and astounded. She hated these times, when she was forced to stay in the cart. They had stopped outside of a small town a few days before and since then Anima had sat in the cart feeding off of rats when she was hungry, sleeping when she was tired and wonderign what was out there when she became bored.
She swung her legs, sitting in the doorway of the cart counting the stars in the dark sky. Her hood hung off of her bare shoulders and her oversized cloak crumpled around her. She heard applauding from the main tent as Gavin, a strapping young man that could bend his body in ways unimaginable, exited the back. he smiled and waved at Anima as she smiled back. She had watched Gavin and many of the other preformers since they were small children. She never had any intentions of feeding off of them like her kind in storys she was told. They were her family and she had never thought twice about harming them. Gavin walked over to her, and yawned.

"well that's the last show of the night, I'm going to get some sleep"

he laughed lightly, his blue eyes sparkling. Anima looked up at him.

"I wish I could be out there again, I miss seeing them"

"the people? Anima you're not missing anything, just a bunch of drunks and hicks..."

She sighed and looked back up at the sky, counting again. Gavin looked at her thoughtfully.

"are you thinking about going again?"

"somewhat, will you keep it a secret?"

Gavin smiled

"of course, just be back before dawn or Lord Argus will have me for target practice"

Anima smiled at him, and hopped out of the cart lightly

"I'll be back just like I always am..."

With that she slipped off into the darkness without a sound or a shadow. Her hood and cloak concealed her from the night as she headed for the nearby town

Kain emerged on the streets keeping in mind what the vampire said.He was to go to a hideout in Meridian. She called her clan the Kabul.Kain agreed to come and listen to them. She also wanted him to bring a few vampires if he could.

Kain: What do they take me for a simple errand boy!

Kain walks around the dark part of Meridian.Thugs and murders walked the streets during this time.Kain had seen a group of thugs standing directly in the mist.

Kain: Perfect....

The thugs were beating a man for his money.Kain became invisible in the mist.Kain walked up behind the nearest thug and ripped out his spine.Kain became visible again.

Kain: Muhahahahaha!!!

Kain then used his dark gift to take control of one of the thug's.The thug that was under Kain's control cut his friend's head off then slit his own throat.Kain drank the blood then looked at the man who was getting beaten. He was still alive. He didn't move because he was so scared.Kain put his short sword through the man's head then walked on laughing his evil laugh.

Kain: I will strike fear into their hearts once again.Hahahahaha!!
