Wel let me fill you. I have ben living in Stoney Creek,Ontario for about 5 years now and haven't had a probel with anything. Up until my bike got stolen right out of my backyard. I guess we forgot to close the gate so that didn't upset me too much.

Well here's where i get very frightened and upset, Yesterday at 2:00 a.m someone got in to our garage and stole my dad's wallet, his car keys(but not the car) and some tools. My dad had $600 in his wallet in which he was going to pay some bills. Luckily my sister was still awake studying and called the police. They arived at 2:05, but by that time he/she had already left.

Frankly I'm getting sick of all this stolen property going around lately, about 6 other people got there garage/house broken in to. We are thinking to move soon, my mom's thinking of either San Fran or Cali. I don't care which one really as long as I move out of this god-forsaken hell hole.

If anyone ever breaks into my house I have a 20 guage by my bed and I won't hesitate to use it if I believe they are coming in my house with the intention of hurting me or my family.

Well I don't think they broke in to our house, just our garage. But my dad does have a gun and he won't hesitate to use it either. My mom still dosn't know if we're going to move. The cops are coming in like 5 minutes so they can inspect it or some **** like that. But I still want to get the hell out of this crappy *** town.

With that said, good luck on catching the bastard Wing Gundam.Hope you get your bike back, and your dad gets his wallet back too. Hope you have better luck in the U.S

Thanks, I appreciate that. I'm very scared that someone that I know did it (no names mentioned). Like especially this guy I know. What if they find him and he knows that I live there and he gets his friends to kick my ***. Well I'll try to fall asleep tonight but I won't be able to. Can anyone give me any advice?

I am truely sorry to hear about that. Its really a shame. Its even worse because usually police in those kinds of situations just prove how incompetent they really are.

I live really close to New Orleans, and damn is there alot of crime here. People literally get killed while jogging just so the assailant can get the victims wallet and walkman.I hate these low lives and I know that I wouldnt hesitate to steal everything back if I had the chance, even their lives if thats what they took.

I hope everything is resolved for you, Im sorry it happend.

when i was in New Zealand for a year , a lot of items were stolen from me. although we recovered most of them , we still haven't got them back to this day. that's how my philosphy of " always carry my gameboy with me " was made.

anyway, what i'm trying to say is i know what it feels like to have something stolen from you Wing Gundam. :(

Well that sucks...

You are lucky you don't live in Chicago. We've had our cars broken into several times. My car had CDs stolen out of it; someone cut one of my tires (I don't think this was on purpose though, due to the way it was done); my mom's van was all torn up inside because someone tried taking out the TV that was built into it; my dad has had busted windows... These are just random things too, no one in the area is out to get us or anything lol. I doubt the people doing these things even live close to our neighborhood.

My bike was also stolen when I was younger... sad day :(. Sadly, it seems like all of the oountry has problems like these. Chicago seems to be getting better, and we haven't had any problems around my house in quite a while.

>< The only thing we've had stolen was my mom's wedding ring, when I was four.

one of my mom's friends broke into our house, stole her wedding ring, messed up my parents' bedroom, and lied about it for a month, until she finally admit she stole it.

My mom didn't suspect her, because she had been one of her best friends...

She asked her if she knew anything about my mom's ring, which had been stolen... And she said no for about a month...

but... that's about it...

I had a 19-year old teacher at day-care, and he had his car stolen, when he went for valet parking. His whole car was stolen, so he had to walk to the police station, and they gave him a ride back home... @_@
That's why he didn't show up for several days... since he lived thrity minutes from his job.... @_@

Sadly, WingGundam, your troubles are shunned by this world. It's all part of daily life nowadays. Murders on the streets, robberies in homes, rapes in bathrooms, kidnappings in malls, it's all becoming part of life. The best advice I can give is to just prepare yourself for a wake-up if you move to a big city.

And for the guys that'll supposedly "kick your ***", just remind them that touching you in a way that you don't like is grounds for incarseration. Granted, you might get a little scuffed up, but I hear juvie isn't nice during winter.

That doesn't always work. :( but when you kick thier *** you can just claim self defense. :)

Well sadly where ever you go crime will always be around the corner. Its become a way of life for many people these days. Personally I've never had anything stolen from my apartment though I remember the time in high school where someone stole my wallet with 100 dollars in it. It's enough reason to get you mad, angry and upset. Sorry to hear about this, but remember moving may not be the only solution to this problem.

Well, that doesn't apply to me. My house has never been robbed before. NEVER. That's weird, and I thought I was under a curse, but I guess I'm not!

Well, there is a street in my town called Schoefield Street. It is about one hundred, two hundered meters long... and apparently it has the highest crime rate in Australia! As if! Says something about Toowoomba Journalism, eh?
Melbourne, however, has been dubbed by Time magazine as the Murder Capital of the World. I heard on Triple J that one guy from the station was staying there with some friends, and they were reading the paper about some crime investigation receiving new info. The crime was something like this guy's backyard had been excavated and twenty seven baby corpses and three child corpses had been found. Anyway, his friend was reading this story and she looked up from it and said to the other friend, "I don't remember this one, do you?" SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER IT? Not something I'd pass off as an everyday occurance, but then again I don't live in Melbourne.

I'm not surprised at that, isn't Melbourne also the most congested/populated area in Australia or something like that?
On a further note, the Time magazine put Melbourne as the murder capital of the world, not just Australia. Something that I find highly amusing.

And if I am wrong, *shrugs* blame my source, WIN news, Channel 10 and the ABC (that's the Australian one folks)

you know society is getting worse when you cant even live where you choose. i got this street down the road from my house (but a 30 second walk) that has, like, zero street lights and about 14 crack houses. it sucks, i know, but its the way things are becoming. good luck with either getting your things back or moving.
