Im wondering about all of the different gundam games.

Which ones are good, which are bad and which are the best?

I also wanna know if anybody would like to see the makers of armored core get the chance to make a gundam game. now that would be cool.

Those boys with all the rights to gundam stuff sure could learn a thing or two from the guys who make armored core.

Are there any games that even come close to that?

thanks.

Well there's "Gundam Battle Assault" which is a 2d side scrolling tekken style game. It's ok, prettt much only gundam fans would like it. Then there's "Gundam: Journey to Jaburo". That's a lot more like armored core where you go around and shoot other mobile armor. The third Gundam game is called "Gundam: Battle Assault" which is kinda like journey to jaburo except that it is more of a strategic type game. You get to have team mates and give orders. It's really cool and my personal favorite. If I were you I would try out one of the second two games that I mentioned because the are the most like armored core. Sorry I couldn't reply sooner.

Everyone I talk to says the latest Gundam game on PS2 is the best on the system. It's called Mobile Suit Gundam Federation Vs. Zeon. I personally haven't played it... The last Gundam game I played was DC.

I think it would be really cool if they made a Gundam game similiar to Carnage Heart on the PSX. The game was more about customizing the mechs for battle and such, could be an interesting twist.

yes Fed vs Zeon is one of the more highly praised gundam games in america and i have to say the combat controls are very good almost too good but to everything good there is a downside. You can't use you're shield on this game and the aiming is a total hassle its like the fricken aiming system has a mind of its own!!!! But other than that the game is very well thought out well desgined.

I'd have to say that Federation vs. Zeon is the best US release. JTJ I didn't like at all, but Zeonic Front was pretty cool with being the commander of mobile suits. The Battle Assault games are cool too. And since they're pretty cheap it's a good buy.

I like the game alot. Personally I enjoyed Zeonic Front just as much. This one though, adds space battles to the mix and fixes the control somewhat. It still has a few problems but overall its good. I just wish they would make a game now that has something more to do with the time periods after 0079 and the MSG series. A good Gundam Wing game would be fun too.

Nevertheless, if your a fan of Gundam, you will enjoy this game. If you enjoyed the previous Gundam Games....youll love this one. The space battles could have been a little better though. It wouold be nice if you could have massive battles in space with maybe 60 or 70 suits and capital ships. Have the ability to land on a ship or colony and fight another suit. Just little stuff....but im picky anyway.

ITs a good game. Buy it.

The best one's currently are Federation vs. Zeon, Zeonic Front.

Also if you have a dreamcast with import capabilities I would suggest getting Sunrise Eiyutan. Also known as Sunrise Hero's its basically a rpg game with various characters from the sunrise animes (mostly gundam's)are in it including the Gundam Wing Characters.

Another Game that is imported that I would recommend for the dc is Super Robot Wars Alpha it too has various Gundam's and if I remember correctly Super Robot Wars S had the G-Gundam one's in it for the gba.

Basically most of those import games are the best in the Gundam series, but if you don't have import connections or abilites I suggest getting the two games that are out Domestically here.

YEah, there are some good imports. I forget the name but there was a Z gundam game for the Super Famicon I think, but it was a tactics style Gundam RPG and It was great. If you can find a copy of it and love FFT, you should definetly get it.
