I thought I would post the intro again so people wouldn't have to keep looking in the sign-up to remember the storyline. ^_~

INTRO: Many centuries ago in the land known as Lysanor, the Dark Wizard known as Bashag had taken over most of the country. Try as they might, Lysanor's inhabbitants couldn't stop it. But one day, a Sacred Mage named Telsoron created several magical items that each contained a magical power and spirit that should defeat Bashag for good. Summoning the power of the Magical Items, he finally banished the Dark Wizard from this world. However, Bashag swore an unbreakable oath that he would return to seek vengence, and that the magical items would be his so that he may destroy the world. However, before the day was done, Telsoron died due to many injuries during the War. But before he died, he sealed all the Magical Items far away with a powerful spell from anyone and anything so that they would not fall into the hands of evil. The world was finally at peace once more. But that was then. This is the present.

No one knew that one of Bashag's minions, Ghazboron, had survived through the war. Everyone thought that he had died since no one had seen nor heard anything of him, but he was just waiting. Waiting until he was even more powerful in strength than his master Bashag. During this time, he summoned demons, goblins, and any other horrible creatures to his side. He then ordered them to search the earth for the Magical Items, but yet they sought for them in vain. Anger builded inside Ghazboron, and he finally decided that he could not wait any longer. He was strong enough, and now that he had thousands of armies on his side, he would tear up the earth until he found the Magical Items. But he wouldn't use it to destroy the world. He would rule it and enslave all the races of earth. Now it's up to a group of travellers to retrieve the Magical Items and stop Ghazboron before it's too late.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Elsyan was standing in the highest branch of an old oak tree getting a last view of her home land before she left on her journey. It was about one week ago that she heard the story about Bashag, Ghazboron, and the fabled Magical Items. It was on Midsummer's Eve while many festivities were taking place in the village when her ears picked up somone telling the story. She became so interested that she gave her full attention to the story for many hours. The story engraved itself in her mind. No matter how hard she tried, she could not think of anything but the story. Something kept pulling at her mind about it, as if there just might be some bit of truth to the story. She just had to get more information about it.

Elsyan sighed then shouldered her pack, and with all the speed and grace of an Elf climbed down the tree. Without another backward glance of her home, she set off down the path.

Indrid had been following the elf for about a week, he was planning to steal from her, but she set off after hearing some story from a drunken old elf at a bar. He soon realised he hadn't done anything particularly stupid in some time, and decided to make up for it by following her. He was well aware that she could hear quite well, and he also knew she probably knew he was following her. However she hadn't tried to stop him so far, so perhaps she didn't mind the arrangement aswell.
Indrid sometimes walked behind her, sometimes flew and sometimes flew into the night sky, just to see her reaction.
He liked the look of her, something in the way she moved that seem to have him enchanted in a spell he did not understand, but he didn'nt have anything to do.
All of a sudden Elsyan froze, her ears pricking to a sound that Indrid did not make or hear.
He dropped to the ground as silently as he could, awaiting her reaction, wondering if it was him she heard, or something else...

I put the shroud over the orb as I had done hundreds of times before. Ghazboron wanted the items, and he wanted me to find them. But I had my own plans. I would find them and use them. I would use them to defeat Ghazboron and bring peace to this world. He musn't know of my plans...

Ryan- "He musn't..." My ears perked up to a noise outside. Being an Elf, even if I was only a Dark Elf, had it's advantages. I plunged my hand through the opening in the tent and gripped one of my soldiers by the neck. "What do you want human!?" He writhed and ripped his shirt from my grasp.

Human Soldier- "I bear news, sir... The Seer's have senced one of the items 3000 wheels from here. It will take a good week to get there if we don't run into any resistance." I noded and brushed off the mans shirt.

Ryan- "You have just earned yourself a promotion Captain. Tell the troops to start packing up. We will leave imediately." I handed him a Captains knife and showed him out. A magic item... Good. This was going faster than I expected. Perhaps I would have all of them inside of five months...

Siren sat in a temple in the forest many leagues from any village or city... She sat cross-legged and with her eyes closed, her palms pressed to her knees... Her hair fell in front of her face, stirring gently with each breath... She stretched her wings out behind her, cramped from eons of one position... Her golden eyes opened as light streamed into the temple.... She blinked and stood in one fluid motion... She was alive... The dragonling looked at her hands and body... Siren flexed each finger and stared as it reacted... A footstep sounded then a clatter of metal brought her attention to the doorway... A startled priest stood in the light... His mouth hung open and his eyes bulged... He turned and ran... Siren looked perplexed and turned away from the door... A scene carved in stone stood before her... She walked up to it and placed a hand on its cold surface... The memories hit her in a wave and her knees buckled... Visions of blood and pain, screaming and death invaded her mind... Tears streamed down her face... It was so long ago... Telsoron and the others... She gasped... The spell! That's what had happened... She had been trapped in time and stone along with one of the magical items... She turned and strode to the place she had been left... To the left there was a door... She flung it open and smiled... Her weapons lay beside neatly folded clothes and boots... She glanced down at herself and shook her head... If she had been brought back to life, it means that the spell was unraveling and in that case she would do best to retrieve the other items... And she wasn?t about to get anywhere in this robe... She slipped out of it and into the clothes... As she slid the semitars into their sheathes she paused... Where were the other items anyway? Siren scowled... This would be much more difficult than she expected... She stepped into the boots and walked out the door... As she stepped out of the outside doors the priest from before stopped her...

Priest: Um... Excuse me... We have readied a horse and provisions for your divine journey... This way...

He scurried away and Siren stood, utterly dumbfounded... "Divine journey"? What was that supposed to mean? Who did they think she was? A god? Siren sniggered at the thought... She was no more a god than the stone under her feet... She threw a heavy cloak about her shoulders, hiding her wings and drew her hood up about her face as she followed the priest... A black mare tossed her head uneasily at the sent of the dragonling approaching... Siren moved to her nose and stroked it softly... The mare whickered and Siren smiled underneath the shadow of her hood... She mounted; slinging the proffered supplies over her saddle then spurred the mare into a gallop out of the woods...

Raellyra slid deeper into the water as she heard someone approaching. As it came closer, she realised that it was Elsyan, an elf, and friend of hers. Slipping out of the water, quickly pulling a proper dress over her white shift. Deciding that she'd do it just for fun, Rae quickly whispered her "Brevis" spell, turning her into water. Fighting to keep her shape, Rae held out her hand in a welcoming gesture.

Laughing, Elsyan moved forward. "You know if I touch you when you're like that you'll lose your shape."

Sighing, Raellyra solidified. "You're right. As usual."

"So why are you here?"

"Oh, well...I thought I'd see what life was like in this part of the world."

"I know you, Raellyra. You wouldn't leave your cottage if you didn't have to..."

"You know me too well," she grumbled. "The animals have been extremely talkative lately. There are stirrings...not good ones, either. Something big is going to happen...I just want to be here when it did."

"You do realise that curiosity..."

"But I am not a cat, am I?" Moving closer, Raellyra whispered to Elsyan, "By the way, there's a guy behind you...he's been following you for days."

"I know."

"Who is he?"

"How should I know?"

Raellyra rolled her eyes; Elsyan didn't really worry about things until they presented a problem. Her nature was almost as much Undine as Raellyra's own. Less curious, perhaps, though that wasn't alway true...

Shrugging her shoulders, Raellyra smiled at Elsyan. "Mind if I join you?"

"Do you want to get dressed first?"

"Of course. That was a given."

Indrid wasn't a pervert, but after seeing the beauty rise from the water, he was trully happy he came. After hearing the conversation, he decided to give them his name. He knew Elsyan had been aware of his presance so, all he had to do was land. Indrid swooped out of the sky and landed next to Elsyan.

Indrid: Good Evening, I am Indrid Path, I am often called the Rogue Eagle, but I am not sure if you know of my story.

Elsyan: I have heard of you, by the way, the wings are not too great when you want to follow someone, they well, stand out, you know?

Indrid: I am quite aware, thankyou.

Elsyan: Which brings me to my next question, why are you following me?

Indrid: To be honest, I don't actually know. I have little else to do, and I am curious as to who you, and now you're freind, are.

Sly, Indrid, very sly.

Elsyan: Well, I am sure you atleast know what I am searchig for.
It's getting late, and I'm tired, we shall sleep and then talk as we travel in the morning.

The three travellers lit a fire, and laid down around it, sleeping soundly, until the morning.

Raellyra rolled out of bed early, and walked over to the river. It was clear, not muddy, made so because of the pebbled bottom. She quietly whispered "Eluere"; her spell to converse with the aquatic animals in the region. Her mentor had told her that she could probably extend her reach to non-aquatic animals, but she preferred not to. Aquatic animals were the most coherent.

A fish swam to the surface. She dismissed it. Fish were stupid, and slow. They annoyed her. The second creature swam up. Good. It was a seahorse. Good morning friend, Rae whispered, though it was more of a talk between minds than voices. How do you find yourself? An image of swords and giants came to her. It was, of course, just humans, but to the creature, they were huge. The seahorse was scared of them.

Rae cocked her head Why? Another image of the horses family being taken away was produced. Of course, the humans needed food.

How long ago? 1 day was the reply. Seahorse time was odd, they counted by the number of meals. Plankton were eaten only when hungry. 5 times was around 24 hours. So the sea horse had seen men 24 hours ago. Soldiers, even. Seahorse didn't move their nests...the men had been here. Soldiers were not good. Raellyra quickly ended the conversation, turning to Elsyan and the other...Indrid. It didn't matter if they were asleep or awake, she had to talk to them. Soldiers were on the move, and that was never good.

Siren slouched in the saddle as her horse stumbled along... She would need to rest soon....

Siren: C'mon Horse... Just a bit further...

She had ridden for many miles and they were both droping from fatigue... Siren came across a clearing, not far from the Rae and the others, and dismounted...

Siren: This will do...

She forced herself to unsadle the horse and brush it down... That done, she turned and made it three steps before collapsing in a heap... She slipped into dream...

Elsyan and Indrid were sitting around the fire when Raellyra came dashing to the camp.

Raellyra-Soldiers!

Elsyan and Indrid leapt to their feet and but a hand on their weapons.

Elsyan-Soldiers? Where?

Raellyra-I'm not sure. They were in this area around 24 hours ago.

Indrid-Then they can't be far. I wonder what soldiers would be doing in this area?

The group looked around uneasily. After a few seconds, they decided to go after the soldiers before they caused any trouble or chaos.

Luitenant- "Look, sir, an eagle. A good sign." I crained my neck upward and searched the sky. Indeed there was one. I smiled, something I rarely do, and looked back to my Luitenant.

Ryan- "Good eyes Ramsey. Let's hope that this is a true good sign and our mission will go well." We had been traveling for about two days. Much of the infantry was getting restless. There have been many small brawls and a few kills. Hopefully the eagle would calm the soldiers. I kicked my horse and trotted up to the front of the soldiers. "Men! Turn you heads to father sky and glimpse the good sign he has sent us! An eagle! The bird of good fortune. It's majestic and swift. Let our mission be just as good! Our lives for Ghazboron!!"

Troops- "For Ghazboron!!" I smiled broadly and drew my sword. I galloped around the entire mass and screamed a battlecry. I looked up for a moment only to see the eagle had gone. Hopefully it didn't take it's good influence with it.

Indrid didn't like what he was hearing, he didn't like soldiers. Most of them knew who he was, being quite notorious around most any place. He wondered how Rae had come across this knowledge, but thought it better to trust her, and find out later.

Indrid: I think it would be best if we sought out these forces, find out what the hell is going on. Agreed?

Rae and Elsyan: Agreed.

Indrid: Good, good, but how are we going to find them? I don't think we should split up, that's never good.

Rae: We could just follow the tracks over there?

Indrid: Ah, I see...

Elsyan: Well, there is no time to lose, Rae, you found the tracks, we'll follow you, lead the way.

Rae led them through the woods with her eyes searching the ground. They had tried to cover their tracks, but most soldiers are usually careless, and therefore even the most unexperienced person could follow them with little difficulty. They hurried along at a swift pace, moving like shadows, swift and silent through the trees and undergrowth. After a few hours of tracking the soldiers, they arrived at a clearing where the soldiers were resting in various places. Rae, Elsyan, and Indrid crouched down low and conversed in low tones.

Indrid-There they are. Let's get 'em!

Elsyan-Hold on there, Indrid! Let's wait and see what they're up to.

Rae-Up to no good, no doubt.

The three remained hidden and silent, each with their hands on their weapons as they watched the soldiers and listened to what they had to say.

Ryan- "Coren... I'm losing my patience. We've been on the road for three days and there has been no other sencing of the item... I'm starting to think that your Seer's are failing." The wizard tittered nervously to himself and slipped a hand under his robe.

Wizard- "Sir, this is another Orb... If you meld it into your own, you will be able to search aswell. It is quite straining though..." I snatched the Orb away and dismissed him. I new the risks... I could die, but if I could find one of the items it would make me feel better. Something rustled outside of my tent. I put down the Orb and crept slowly outside. Someone was there... I stood perfectly still, barely breathing, for a good ten minutes. Nothing was there. Must have been an animal. I walked back into my tent and plopped down on my cot. I sat back up and walked over to the table. I would do a bit of searching. I reached for the new Orb only to find that it was gone.

Ryan- "Wizard! Where have you taken my Orb?!" I stormed out of the tent in search of him.

The three had been keeping low for several minutes, not daring to breathe. When they were sure that the coast was clear, they let out a long sigh.

Rae-That was close.

Indrid-I'll say. He almost heard us!

Elsyan-Get down!

They ducked their heads even lower as they saw someone emerge from the tent.

???-Wizard! Where have you taken my Orb?!

Elsyan-Moriquendi!!

Rae and Indrid looked at her a bit puzzled.

Indrid-"Moriquendi?" What's that?

Elsyan-"Moriquendi" is the Elvish word for Dark Elf.

Rae-You mean that he is a Dark Elf?!

Elsyan-Yes, now be still. We need to see what this "Orb" is.

Ryan- "Wizard, one more time I will ask you," I slammed him against the ground, "where is my Orb fragment? You just gave me one, and now it's gone." The Wizard grouped for breath and squeaked.

Wizard- "I... I... I don't know" he said breathlessly. I narrowed my eyes even more and picked him up.

Ryan- "Then use a Seer..." I gave him a small pat on the back and shoved him inside of the Seer's tent. I sat down on the ground and conjured a glass of cranberry wine. I sipped it and smiled. Cranberry wine always soothed my soul a little. The Wizard stumbled back out, knocking over my wine. I stood up and crushed the glass against his forehead. He winpered as small rivers of blood flowed down his face.
"Where?"

Wizard- "They don't know... It's like, it's like the fragment just popped out of existance..." I shook him, out of rage, and dragged him back with me. I stalked back to my tent, with the Wizard, to use my own Orb. I caught sight of something in the trees, proabably the animal I heard earlier, and pointed my hand at the spot.

Ryan- "O'Godle Kilika Hedreshed Magna'Rok!" A blast of purple fire flew from my outstreatched hand, and incinerated a four foot diamiter hole in the forest. Hopefully I got the accursed thing. I flung back the sheet to my tent and went in. I pointed my hand and the small opaque, green orb flew to my hand. "Ghazboron.." I muttered. The sillouette of the Great One appeared in the Orb. "Sir, something has happened to your Wizard." I looked at him and, in one swift movement, threw a dagger into his face.

Ghazboron- "Ryan... You know how hard Wizards are to find." He sighed. "Send him back. I'll put a new soul in him." I noded and waved my hand over the Orb. It turned red. I picked up the body that inhabited my tent and dropped it on the Orb. A high pitched wail filled the air and the Wizards body dissapeared. "Next time, mind the face." The orb went back to the normal green and Ghazboron dissapeared. I layed back down, dissapointed of the fact I would not be able to take the search into my own hands.

Siren stirred and sat up... She was still exausted but she was more thirsty then tired... She pushed herself up and stumbled from the clearing into another one... This one was larger and soldiers crowed it... Sirens sleep fogged mind cleared a little and her eyes widened... She had just wandered into trouble with a capital t... She turned to retreat and found herself face to face with a sentry...

Siren: Shi.t...

Sentry: Well, well, well... What do we have here... A spy...

Siren: A spy? What are you talking about?

Sentry: You know very well... I'm taking you to our leader...

Siren: Um... Nope... I don't think so...

She draws her swords and the sentry smirked... His eyes flicking to somthing behind her... She began to turn when a sword pommel connected with her skull and knocked her unconcious

Rae, Elsyan, and Indrid were forced to lie flat against the ground while covering their heads as the plantlife about them was still sizzling and steaming from the blast of evil energy. Indrid managed to raise his head about an inch to peek out between the branches of some bushes.

Indrid-Look! You gotta check this out.

Elsyan and Rae lifted their heads as they saw an unconcious form of a girl being dragged off into the main tent.

Indrid-That girl just walked straight into the camp as if there was nothing there!! Either she's drunk, or she's a fool.

Rae-Should we rescue her?

Elsyan-We should at least try, but first we should change our location and then think of a plan. I think the Dark Elf is getting a bit too suspicious of our presence.

Still keeping low, they walked extra warily and as silently as they could to the opposite side of the camp. Then they drew their weapons and began to formulate a plan.

The trio had come up with a plan of attack: Rae and Elsyan would distract the group, by attacking, basically whoever they came upon on their way to the unconscious woman, and Indrid would attempt to rescue her. They couldn't think of much at the moment and that was what they had come up with and that was what they were going to do.
Weapons drawn, they came out of hiding, Indrid creept off towards the main tent, and Rae and Elsyan headed towards the dark elf.
Indrid didn't hear the battle start, but he heard the yelling and battle cries, some human, and some, he was not familiar with.
Indrid soon found the woman he was searching for, sleeping, by the looks of it, of the floor.
He bent over and woke her, whispering softly, to wake up. Her eye's flickered and opnened up. He started at him for a second and then panicked. Indrid couldn't blame her but he didn't think he deserved a kick to the chest.
He was thrown back, into the dirt as Siren jumped to her feet.
She searched around for her sword, but she saw that Indrid was holding it.

Siren: Give me that! It's my sword, and who the hell are you anyway?

Indrid: Settle down, I got it for you anyway, I am Indrid Hand and I am here to help you, not to hurt. My freinds and I are here to help and find out what's going on here anyway. Now come, lets join the battle outside.

Indrid wasn's sure who she was, or what she was doing here, but she followed him outside and prepared to fight.

Raellyra glanced at Elsyan. This fight was taking a lot out of them. The soldiers kept on coming. Moving closer to Elsyan, she whispered to her. "I'm so tired, Elsyan. I'm not a good fighter. Do you mind if I use magic, now?"

Elsyan glanced at Raellyra, seeing she was, indeed, tired. "Sure, Rae."

Raellyra let out a relieved sigh. "Thank you, Elsyan." She immiedately used her "Cataraestu" spell on the closest three men. Smiling, Raellyra whispered it over and over again. It was the only real killer. The other spells flooded, spoke, liquified. This one was effective. And quite easily. It simply changed the body temperature...raised it. Finally, they stopped coming. Raellyra let out a sigh of relief and fell against a nearby tree.

"Well, that was fun."

OOC: Don't sneak on too much. You might get caught and grounded longer. And Kabuki, you might want to read up on the RPG befor posting.
----------------------------------------
The gaurds were dropping like flies. I stood on top of my tent, watching the entire fight. I had heard a little more than an animal, but not much. They were already weakened. I jumped gracefully down from the tent and landed directly in front of them.

Ryan- "Good evening my ladies. I am Ryan Schezar, Overlord to the mighty Ghazboron. You have kiled much of my infantry. Ghazboron won't be happy. I wonder if your corpses will satisfy him?" I raised my shimmering Mythirl bow and took aim at the Elf. She gasped and attempted to dodge to the right. I fired my arrow through her ankle, pinning her to the spot. She screamed with pain. My bow hummed and another arrow appeared on the shelf. The other started to say something, no doubt a spell. I waved my hand and suddenly she could not speak. I took up my bow again, this time, aiming for the Elfs head.

Siren's eyes widened and she broke away from Indrid... She sprinted across the feild, dodging men and beasts alike... Ryan drew the bow and Siren skidded to a halt in front of the elf... The arrow flew from the bow and buryed it's self in her shoulder... Blood trickled from the wound, creating a dark flower on her shirt... Siren reached to it and curled her hand around the shaft... In one swift motion she ripped it from her flesh, bringing a gout of blood out with it... The blood fell just short of Ryans feet...

Siren: So... Ghazboron is behind this... I have no doubt he shall be slightly miffed at my involvment, but what can you say? His master started it...

Great black feathered wings (for Siren is part Weveryn a smaller, feathered type of dragon) unfurled and Siren smiled...

Siren: So... Ryan Schezar is it? Well Ryan... I am of the orignal warriors... I knew Telsoron very well...

A flash of pain brightens her eyes then fades quickly... She reached over her back and drew her semitars, challenging him... She turned and called over her shoulder...

Siren: You all would be well advised to leave this place now... Take the elf and go... Should I live I'll seak you out to repay your kindness...

I stared at the winged-thing and notched my bow again. Could it be possible she was one of the original warriors? In the midst of all the madness one of the Seer's burst from the searching tent.

Seer- "Lord Schezar! One of the items is here!" I looked around, expecting something large and shiny to begin floating in the air. The three people that had orginally caused the rukus had fled. All that was left was me, about ten soldiers, and a few Seer's. The winged-thing jumped into the air and brandished two scimitars at me. I rolled to the left and let an arrow fly toward her. It sliced some loose clothing but did no real harm. Another arrow apeared and I let it fly. It nicked her left arm and left a small line of blood on her sleeve. Yet another arrow apeared and I shot it. The broodling caught it in mid air and threw it to the ground. She walked towards me. My consentration was broken. No more arrows would come for a while. I stood up and drew a short sword.

Ryan- "You will not escape this camp." She stopped.

Siren- "Oh, but I will." She brought her scimitars down hard and broke the blade of my sword off. I went for another weapon and got my arm stepped on. I looked up and saw a scimitar come down. I closed my eyes and waited for the imense pain. When I opened them again I was in a hospital.

??- "Not a good idea Ryan, getting yourself killed." I sat up and pain flared through my head. "No no no. You have just been resaturated. It is quite shoking to the body when the soul comes back in." I groaned and layed back down.

Ryan- "Sir... How long have I been dead?"

Ghazboron- "Almost a day. I have wove some new powers and abilities into your soul. It should be quite a bit less easy to kill you now." Ghazboron stood up and left. I ploped back down and waited for a nurse to bring me a tonic.
