RPG Outlaw Star: Past, Present, and the Kei Pirates!

[i][color=teal]Gene stared at the grave's tombstone, tossing down the bouquet. His memory of his father would never die. Gene hoped it wouldn't. He tightened his arm's grip around Melfina's waist, gently kissing his wife. He stared off in the distance as jim came running up to him.[/i]

[b]Jim:[/b]GENE! We got a job! Starwind and Hawking is back up, man! We got a bounty to chase, bro!

[b]Gene:[/b]No way, bro! This is too cool. Come on, who's the bounty head?

[b]Jim:[/b]Umm...you won't like him. You remember Hasanko? Leader of the Anten Seven? Well, he had a brother, the master of the Kei Pirates today. He wants us dead, and we've been payed to kill him. Oh, and by the way. I payed off the last of our debt to Fred at last.

[b]Gene:[/b]Finally. Geez,I wasn't looking forward to what he would he would have done if you hadn't payed him off. Come on, let's go.

[i]They set off for the Outlaw Star, Gene stopping Aisha from starting another barfight on the way. He stared back at the Sentinel III Cemetery. He cried a single tear as he climbed into the Outlaw Star to do a system's check. He missed his dad...[/i][/color]

Domo: YOU dopes good for nothings get this ship back online or i will throw you all out into space!!!

[I]the lower grunts started to work in a fast and furios pace on the computers. Domo liked to be in control be he knew he would have to make it up to them at the next pub buy them all drinks and sing with them. He smiled as he walked down the aisle patting each one on the shoulder it was his time to shine and take over the Kei Pirates[/I]

[color=deeppink] [size=1]Melfina boarded the ship, as the others followed behind her.
She turned back, and looked into Gene's eyes, tears in hers.

"Gene, I'm so sorry..." She said, as she put her arms around him. She cried softly, as he held her in his arms.

"You shouldn't be sorry." He said, patting her back.

"I'm so sorry you father died all those years ago. Although I'm sure he was a great man." She said, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"He was." He said simply. "That's why I'll never forget him."

Melfina smiled softly, as she turned and faced the gate, that was starting to close.

She kissed him on the cheek, as she ran down to where she had always been on the Outlaw Star...[/color] [/size]

[color=teal][i]Gene flexed his arm, the bionic upgrade installed just yesterday whirring silently. He watched Melfina jump into the hatch where she would merge with the ship and conduct system checks. Gene smiled and jumped down, using his arm's computer to merge with the system as well. Gilliam was surprised.[/i]

[b]Gilliam:[/b]Gene, this is highly strange. You and Melfina both have this ability now? And the new crew member, Miranda does, too. This is highly strange. I suppose it will better your piloting skills. I can now download the bounty information to you directly. Please hold on.

[i]Gene was hit by a wave of information as the bounty records were brought up. Gene smiled. He was back in business.[/i][/color]

Sana leaned against the side of the Nuna, and looked out at the blackness of space. The commander had picked up a new client(sp?) and had assined Sana to do the job. It sounded simple enought but something was annoying her, something that just didn't feel right about this mission.

She looked again and recalled the words her father had said to her a long time ago, "You fight for what you believe in, not for what someone else does". She looked down at the mission, "Protect OL with life, include those who fly". It had been written so that most wouldn't understand and there was no signature. Oh well, she would get paid a heck of a lot of money for simply protecting a ship and it's people. The only prob was what the hell did OL stand for. She had run a check on her system and had comeup with nothing. Suddenly she clicked onto what it was on about and quickly clambered aboard. "Commander, find me OLS now" she called. "Why?" he asked. "Mission objectives need to be fulfiled and I don't mean to miss out on the money paid by...whoever" she said. "That's the way we work Sajena" said the commander's voice. "For the hundreth time it SANA" said Sana slumping herself down.

OOC: Um . . . [I]technically[/I], Miranda is a new character, but if you go with the history of my character, Miranda is an old character . . . and Gilheim wouldn't know that she can interlink . . . she's only done it once . . . 0o;;

[I]Miranda lounged lazily in Suzuka's old spot. Seems that she had decided to go back into the assasination business . . .[/I] "I was actually getting used to life, and now this again?" [I]Miranda rolled her eyes.[/I] "Why do I stick with you all?"

"We're your main source of income?" [I]Jim countered, as he hopped into the seat in front of Gene.[/I]

"Sure. Dream on Jim."

"It never hurts . . ."

"Are we ready yet?" [I]Gilheim interrupted, annoyed.[/I]

"Take it easy Gil, before you snap a wire!" [I]Miranda laughed.[/I] "We'll be ready when we're ready."

[i][color=teal]Suddenly, a blip appeared on Gene's radar. He saw a ship approaching Sentinel III, and it looked familiar. Then he remembered it. It was Harry and Ron McDougal! They docked, and Harry jumped out, running for the Outlaw Star. He was crying out something over and over, but gene knew he was calling Melfina. He didn't know that Gene had been married to Melfina for a year already. He climbed out of the hatch, disconnecting himself from the system. He grabbed his caster, leaped from the ship, closely followed by Jim, and met him half-way between the ships. Gene smiled, and Harry guessed what the smile meant. He fired missiles at Gene, trying his hardest to kill the man, but he missed. Gene threw off his cloak, tightened his gloves, and dashed forward, grabbing Harry and knocking him unconscious. He walked back to the Outlaw Star, Jim barely down the ladder, and climbed up, pushing Jim up too. He saw something else on the screen that he didn't like. He yelled for everyone to get into their blast-off seats, jumping down and activating his command module. He wasn't about to let the Kei pirate's ship catch him at all![/i][/color]

Siren slid into the seat at the bar...

Siren: Sake...

The barkeep passed her the bottle and a small glass... Siren ignored the glass and drank strait from the bottle... Her deal had been thrown off with the Kei Pirates new intrest in Gene... She sighed... She needed a job...

Sorry it has taken me so long to post.

Jim jumped into his blast off seat fumbling around for his seatbelt, why was it that he stayed with Gene again. This and many other thoughts fumbled through his mind such as how he managed to pay off there good frend and if the would need to use anymore credit a they traveled through space again. He thought about this while staring blankly he had to snaop himself out of his dy dreams and remind himself of the situation they were in.

[i][color=teal]Gene launched the ship well. He never even scratched the paint this time. As they took off, he felt anagging sense of dread that something was wrong. Then he noticed it. They were out of fuel! Gene began yelling at Jim as the ship settled back down slowly, and Gene threw the responsibility of gassing the Outlaw Star up to Jim, and he ran off to the bar. He had to get some stuff from Iris, anway. As he strode in, he saw a strange character downing a bottle of sake. He walked up, wondering what was up. Then he saw the bounty hunter mark on her arm and jumped up, wielding his caster at her.[/i][/color]

[color=blue][size=1]Jim ran down the long main hall of the Oulaw Star to the engine room. He ran so fast he hit his sholder in the metal door of the engine room. He stood and thought of how much it hurt for a minute before opening the door. He picked up one of the many extra canistars of gasoline they had lying aroung. He picked it up and poured it into the internal gas hub which was design for situations just as these. Jim rested for a minute before making his way back down to Gene.[/color][/size]

Sana looked out of the window. "Commander are you sure that's the place?" she called. "Yep, I've just checked out the systems and the OLS is due for lift off sometime soon. You may want to get into your shuttle and keep and eye on them" he called back. "Okay" she called.

It took two full minuets for Sana to reach her shuttle. Techincally it was a modified Space Pod but it didn't really matter. She ran all the system checks and checked everything including the life support. Last time she had forgotten to do that and only had enought air to last her two minuets. "Okay Commander, I'm ready to disembark" she said through the com system. A crackley reply came back, "Okay Sanjena, you just remeber to keep your cool and for gods sake don't screw up, dirtbag" he called. "I won't! You can trust me" she said back after wacking the system. "Sana, you keep yourself safe" said a young female voice. "Don't worry Shaupat, I'll make sure I'm back to help you out" she said. "Okay, disembarkation in 5 seconds" came the Commanders voice. Sana reached for the two leavers and pulled them down. Her shuttle drifted for a few seconds and then kicked into life. "Ship Nanu, this is Kreetle, on line and ready to fly" she said. "Okay, if you need any help, you know the code" said Commander and then the ship disappeared. "Now to wait on the Outlaw. Why do I get stuck with protection jobs?" she asked, while she set up a stable frequency so that the ship would detect her.
