Taikura: Why are you acting as if I am your enemy? I'm not!!! I hope you're not insulting me!

Siren: What if we are?

Uthwine: Though I would agree that you are one of the weaker members of the group.

Taikura: Weak?! Ha! I'm not going to attack you; you know that. However, I didn't see either of you doing anything to Lizardeth!

Uthwine: You shouldn't waste such time on wimps.

Taikura: Well, still, I'm sure that Lizardeth is planning revenge on me. I feel him getting stronger. But you don't need to help me... this will be a great time to prove that I am powerful enough to be in this group! So what if Light is not one of the main elements? Neither is Spirit! Uthwine, you are in the group, and so am I!

Uthwine: Are you kidding? I doubt that little lizard is ever going to come back.

Taikura: Lizard? You mean dragon!!! (sees a dragon flying overhead)

Lizardeth: Hahahahaha. I'm back!!!

Siren: Well, maybe you were right... This time.

Lizardeth: Hey, are those friends of yours?

Taikura: Of course they are!!!

Siren and Uthwine: (sarcastically) Yeah right.

Lizardeth: Hah! I guess I'll have to get them out of my way first!!! (hurls two golden fireballs; one at Siren and the other at Uthwine; they fly toward them faster than the speed of light and knock them against the trees)

Siren and Uthwine: :faint:

Uthwine: NO! (turns back into Nepenthe)

Taikura: HEY DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH SIREN AND UTHWINE,... I mean Nepenthe.

Lizardeth: Hmph. Now I'll kill you too!

Taikura: Not so fast. (points her staff at the sun; a glowing energy sphere surrounds Taikura):haha: (Lizardeth hurls another fireball at Taikura but she is protected by the shield)

Siren: (to herself) Nice reflexes.

Taikura: Is that your best shot? Take this! (her staff glows even brighter; a sun beam appears and heads for Lizardeth)

Lizardeth: (tires to prepare a fireball but is hit by the sun beam)

Taikura: Oops, too slow. :laugh: Well, Lizardeth, any last words?

Lizardeth: STUPID BUNNY!

Taikura: "Stupid bunny." What an idiot. (her staff glows yet even brighter and blinds Lizardeth)

Lizardeth: (shields his eyes) Grrr! My eyes are very sensitive to bright light!

Taikura: Yep, just as I predicted. (fires another sun beam at Lizardeth and sends him flying toward the sun) Well, I guess that's the end of him. Siren! Nepenthe! Are you guys OK? (her shield splits in two and surrounds Siren and Nepenthe) You should be now. (the shield has healed Siren and Nepenthe)

Nepenthe: (to herself) You have proven herself, Taikura. I guess I was wrong. (to Taikura) Hmph. You got away with it, but you're still a wimp.

Taikura: HEY! :mad:

OOC: Let us get somthing straight... My char is not kind, loving, happy, or otherwise... She does not socialize or speak kindly, anymore than is strictly needed... The only exception to this is when it is in her best intrest or when it will get her somthing... I'm not trying to be overly harsh on you Nefertimon but I have this thing with excessivily happy people... They tend to get on my nerves... Now... This is not ment to hurt your feelings or somthing like that... But is you can't get the personality of my char correct then it is my personal prefrence that you leave her out of your posts.... She cracked her neck and knuckles lazily...then picked up her staff and pointed the tip into the ground.....ribbons waving themselves of their own free will. Uthwine crossed her arms and cocked one eyebrow at Taikura.[/i]

Uthwine: I hope to Kiout you get slain in the first assult.

Taikura: After I saved your life?!?!?

Uthwine: Don't make me throw up. Nepenthe can handle herself...and so can I, for that matter.[/COLOR]

[color=indigo][i]Geinudo stood silently a few paces back from the rest watching the mindless and childish antics of this sickening display of immaturity. If he had a stomach, then it would be churning. This display was almost too much for him to watch. He turned away and walked by himself around the group in a slow, yet menacing, manner. As he passed through shaded areas, any part of him not in direct light faded, making Geinudo appear transparent.

When he had completed a full circle around the group, he stopped, and faced them once again. Nothing had seemed to change, and things were beginning to bore him. Merely to amuse himself, he touched the orb of his staff to the ground. The shadow mist seemed to soak into the earth. Projections from the black mass squirmed on their own like tentacles. Strecthing to grab any light they could so that they may strangle it all, coverting it to the nothing that they were. When Geinudo had finished, the dark mass was stood still; no longer attempting to take over more light. Without effort, he moved it along the ground and began to condense it. The more dense it became, the darker it became as well. He stopped when it became only about two feet in diameter. It then began to protrude from the ground in a liquid-like fashion. As it did such, it began to take form. A single extension parted on either side. Another shorter, but wider extension on the top. Features began to mold, and what little color there was began to show. Soon, it began to become solid, and texture was added. When all was finished. A live replica of Geinudo stood in fron to him, exactly alike in everyway. The copy approached the origin. A 'dead' stare ensued. It started off lightly, both smirking at the other. It quickly became more intense. The origin discreetly smashed the butt of his staff to the ground. The sharp noise threw off the copy's concentration as it blinked.[/i]

[b]Geinudo:[/b] HA!

[i]The copy gave a face of shock realizing it had been tricked.[/i]

[i]Geinudo:[/i] Bah, you are a sly one...

[b]Geinudo:[/b] You and I are one in the same. You should have seen it coming.

[i]The origin smirked, and before the copy could speak it began to notice that it was regressing back into the mist. It started slowly, then moved faster. The cloud enveloped him as he then began to slowly, and deeply, inhale. When the last of it had returned to its creator, Geinudo let out a contented sigh. Some time had seemed to pass. He glanced at the group. Some seemed to be quickly losing interesting what had been going on. Geinudo then let out a sigh of boredom...[/i]

[COLOR=seagreen][i]Uthwine leaned against the bole of a huge sycamore tree, watching the respective elementals do nothing in particular.....She fingered the ivory ribbons once, then closed her eyes and folded her hands in her sleeves......

And time went by.....

She woke with a start, then cursed herself for being so weak. Much to her surprise, her energy had returned, leaving her refreshed and pleased. Uthwine rose to her feet and drew her staff out of the ground....[/i]

Geinudo: Bored?

Uthwine: .......[i]What was your first clue?[/i]

Geinudo: [i]The way you yawned. And the way you're fidgeting with that damned ribbon.

The lady laughed and willed her fingers to remain still. She smiled at Geinudo, eyes sparking and snapping in the changing light.[/i]

Uthwine: [i]Do you think me too immature?[/i]

Geinudo: ......[/COLOR]

[font=gothic][color=crimson][I]Alqwerik finally became frustrated with the assorted pathetic, frivolous, annoying habits, and cut through the clamour with a tone that seemed to drip sarcasm.[/I]

Alqwerik: [I]If[/I] we are all finished our respective idiosyncracies? While I'm sure these ...lighter moments, serve some fundamental purpose to you socially directed sheep, just maybe, perhaps once, could this little charade be less prolonged than it has to be? I would [I]request[/I] that the assorted generics here stop wasting my time with this god-forsaken, misbegotten, undignified, farcious, duplicitous, debacle of a travesty that I have yet to encounter.

[I]The silence that follows Alqwerik's comments is enough to move him to open laughter.[/I]

Alqwerik: Now that I have some attention, perhaps it should be suggested that we do something about whatever aggravating pending crisis will just [I]have[/I] to captivate our undying attention?

[font=gothic][color=crimson][I]Alqwerik smoothed his features, reassserting self control. He half turned, tossing Uthwine a semi-ironic salute as he did so. Facing the others, he continued in a similar vein.[/I]

Alqwerik: Well, now that I have been ever so skillfully reminded of my place in this particular order, why do I not leave this interminably pressing dilemma in your [I]assuredly[/I] compentant hands? Why, all the world knows not a more able group exists, when crisis doth come for tea.

[I]Alqwerik turns, gives a deep mocking bow to Uthwine, and stalks several paces off, proceeding to pay very close, determined attention to a small wisp of cloud.[/font][/color][/I]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=seagreen][i]Siren and Uthwine exchanged a look that seemed to flicker with energy.......the spirit Elemental rolled her eyes and watched Alqwerik's retreating backside....[/i]

Uthwine: .....*sigh* I wish it would rain.

Siren: ......I wish we could do something besides...SIT AROUND![/COLOR]

[i] "Calm Down,Siren!we can go now!"

Orlia said,grinning.

"But first.Lets let some of us Practice our specialtys,we havent been moving for a thousand years."

"Fine,go ahead,Water"

Siren said,sighing.Orlia kept on Grinning and held up her hand.Sending out a Blast of Lava-Warm Water.Into the air.Taikura,who was at the wrong place at the wrong time,got hit in the face with the water as it thrusted down.

"OW OW OW OW OW!"

She cried,hopping around trying to stop the burn.

"SOrry!"

Orlia said,trying to hold back laughter.She held out her hand to Taikura's face and shot a Blast of Cold Water at her to soothe the pain.

"Ohhh...wow...Can you shoot water of all Tempetures?"

The rabit asked eagerly.

"Erm...yeah"

"CAN WE GO NOW PLEASE?"

Cried everyone in Unison.

"Oh,uh...sorry.Yeah,Lets go!"

Siren: This is going to be a looong year....

Uthwine: Amen to that.

[i]Almost like a reflex, Uthwine drew the symbol of a cross in front of her....then tightened the grip on her staff and strode forwards, eyes set...[/i]

Orlia: Let's go!!!

Uthwine: ....where exactly?

Everyone said.Stareing at Orlia.She grinned again,

She said casually.

"he sends many spies to gather information on how the Village is doing.So If we follow the spies."

She snapped,sending Ocean water out of her Fingers.

[COLOR=seagreen][i]Uthwine groaned...They were all going to die. But the group followed Lauren's lead....without too much complaint.[/i]

Siren: ...When do we eat?

Uthwine: My thoughts exactly.

Glacien: ...probably never, knowing her.

Uthwine: *grimace* Great....I should've fallen on the knife at the end of battle...would've saved me the trouble of being hungry.[/COLOR]

Taikura: (thinking) I don't belong here. I don't belong with any of them--not Uthwine, not Siren, not Glacien... not anybody. :bawl: (starts talking) THAT'S IT!!! If everybody's picking on me, I'll just have to leave! Oh, but I can't leave now. Not when we're on our way...

Uthwine: Maybe you should just leave. You're no help to the group anyway.

Siren: Definitely not. If I had it my way, I would kill you, you stupid little bunny! :cussing:

Glacien: I'm afraid Uthwine and Siren are right.

Taikura: :bawl::bawl: OK, everybody that wants me to leave, raise your hand!!! (just about everybody raises their hand) :bawl::bawl::bawl: OK, I'm leaving!!! (runs away)

Uthwine: What a crybaby. Anyway, let's get back to business.

"We can go without the Rabbit.And we can go without Orlia.Whats so special about her?"

Asked Geinudo.Siren,Glacien,Unthwine And everyone else Shrugged.

"Theres...just something about her."

Said VooDoo,

[i]Geinudo let out a quick laugh, then sighed contently. Closing his eyes in wait for whatever was to happen next...[/color][/i]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Uthwine chuckled and tapped the tips of her index fingers together, then brought them out and formed the shape of a complex atom, composed entirely of spiritual energy......As soon as it nestled itself in the palm of her hand, she breathed lightly upon it...and it flew into the air, to hover just above Geinudo's face....humming with energy. He swatted it away in annoyance...[/i]

Geinudo: Must you?

Uthwine: ....Spirit might not be as flashy, but it gets the job done.

Siren: .....of course.....that's the case for all elements.

Uthwine: Are you sure?[/COLOR]

Siren smiled and somthing tapped Uthwine's shoulder... She turned and stared... An exact copy of her stood in front of her and shrugged... It wavered and then disolved, specks of darkness returning to their places...

Siren: Darkness is very similar to shadow... But shadow is the grey area between light and darkness... Therefore, it can be used more creativly then either...

Geinudo smirked and looked smug... Siren laughed...

Siren: To use it creativly you have to have that kind of mind... Hell... You just have to have a mind... Sorry Shadow...

She laughed again...

Siren: Darkness and light are more substantial than shadow though... Convienient in a pinch...

[COLOR=seagreen]Uthwine: And spirit would be that most bizarre of all known things. Versatile; for it can be possessed, abandoned, lost, forgotten, and controlled....

Siren: ....The Essence of self.

Uthwine: It can be argued either way.

Geinudo: Spirit huh?

Uthwine: None other. Imrathradiel Limpae.

[b]Geinudo:[/b] In Darkness there is nothing. In Light there is everything. In Shadow there is something. Can one tell what it is? No, Darkness prevents an indentity from being made, but it is Light that allows one to know that something is indeed there.

[i]There was a pause in his speech, just for a moment. Complete silence.[/i]

[b]Geinudo:[/b] You mentioned that Spirit can be lost, abandoned, forgotten. Spirit can also be found. So obviously Spirit, when lost, cannot be engulfed by Darkness. If it was in Darkness, then it could not be found, because, as I said before, in Darkness there is nothing. It cannot be lost in Light, because Light shows everything, thus the Spirit wouldn't be lost. So that leaves it with the confused little medium between the two..

[b]Siren:[/b] Shadow.

[b]Geinudo:[/b] Precisely. Spirit is lost in Shadow. One knows that they have Spirit, but they might not be able to find it. When they find it, how will they know it is theirs? The Darkness in Shadow prevents an indentity from being given.

[b]Uthwine:[/b] Simple, shine more Light into the Shadow.

[b]Geinudo:[/b] One could only wish it was that easy...

[i]At these words he stood up, looking at Uthwine.[/i]

[b]Geinudo:[/b] My eyes, there are completely white. Are they not?

[b]Uthwine:[/b] They are.

[b]Geinudo:[/b] White is, in essence, the presence of Light? With no Darkness?

[b]Uthwine:[/b] It is.

[i]Geinudo took a step closer. His gaze directly into hers.[/i]

[b]Geinudo:[/b] Now, look into my eyes and tell me what you see.

[i]Uthwine, a little uncomfortable and confused, yet... curious at the same time. Looked at him, and into his eyes. There, she could see a reflection of her head, but... her face lacked detail. It was simply just there..[/i]

[b]Uthwine:[/b] I see... [i]something[/i].

[i]Geinudo turned around and walked back to where he was laying down, and rested once again..[/i]

[b]Geinudo:[/b] In Light, a Spirit is found. In Darkness, a Spirit can't be. In Shadow, a Spirit is lost. It can only gained when it is driven by a want or need to exist. One does not find a Spirit, a Spirit finds them.

[i]Geinudo closed his eyes and rested. Silently. There. By himself.[/i]

Orlia Shouted,panting of Exhaustion from Both running,And Being in elemental form for to Long.

"Nobody Wants me!"

Cried Taikura,Her voice also slowing dow with Pants.

"But We Need you!We cant go without you!"

Yelled the Water Elemental.

"Uthwine and Siren Dont Think So!"

"Who cares!?Your The being of Light!You brighten our Pathways at night!You bring the cheer into the Group!"

Silence.

"AUGHH!"

Screamed Orlia as Taikura Appeared infront of her out of nowhere.

"Really?"

Asked Taikura Timidly,Orlia Smiled

"Really"

With a few more Encouraging Words,Taikura and Orlia walked back to the Group.Orlia,feeling dizy,almost Collapsed but was causght by her staff.

"are you Okay?"

Asked Taikura,helping Orlia up.

"I'm Fine...I need to Transform back."

And Without another Word,All the Water sprayed out of her body and into The Beautifull Staff,And Lauren was standing there again.[/i]

[COLOR=seagreen][i]Uthwine chuckled and exchanged a glance with Siren. She released her hold on Nepenthe and a white line of energy flowed from her mouth into her staff. Siren also detransformed...The others following suit...[/i]

Nepenthe: ...So, when do we eat?

Lauren: There's a tavern down the north road a bit...

Siren/Nepenthe: YES!

Edgar: ....oh my god.

Siren: What? I like alcohol.

Nepenthe: ...me too....

Craig: ...Yeah.

[i]The group continued northwards....and finally came within sight of a large town....The sign outside the gates read, "Black Rose...home of the Flower Mage." Without fanfare, Lauren marched up to the gates and knocked once. Nothing.[/i]

Craig: The heck?

Lauren: ....okay, let's try this again...*bangs on the doors with staff*

Growly Voice: GO AWAY!

Nepenthe: We are travelers, seeking accomidations for the night.

Growly Voice: How much money do you have?

Craig: Enough.

Growly Voice: ....Enter...

[i]The group walked through the iron gates, which promptly slammed shut behind them. Siren and Nepenthe exchanged a glance....[/i][/COLOR]

Alqwerik (otherwise ignoring whoever it was that made the comment): True.

[I]The hunched man inside the iron gates looked at them for a long moment, before grumbling to himself in a voice pitched to low to hear. Alqwerik, fully amused by yet another cesspool of humanity, continues his rambling diatribe.[/I]

Alqwerik: Of all the gods cursed misbegotten luck, we have to reach yet another haven of bigots, fools and yokels. Why have I been so blessed as to wallow in this crass pit of bad taste, worse food and reprehensible people? I think I'll take a walk. Again, or something along those lines. Fare thee well, my somewhat bemused companions.

[I]His somewhat ironically delivered opinion aired, Alqwerik disappears in short order.[/font][/color][/I]

[COLOR=seagreen][i]Several hours later, Siren and Nepenthe surveyed the room they were sharing....Clean, small, but serviceable...The two sat down and sipped their perspective drinks...[/i]

Siren: So what do you think?

Nepenthe: Of Craig?

Siren: No! Of this whole....thing....

Nepenthe: It could be worse.

Siren: So...you like Craig...

[i]The mischevious elemental barely dodged the chaiar Nepenthe hurled...then sat up again and winked at Nepenthe's blushing face.[/i]

Nepenthe: Shut. Up.[/COLOR]

"This room is Freaky..."

Lauren said as she walked into the room,Cadet followed.There we're two tables,a Small Table with two Wooden Chairs.Cobwebs lined the corners.

"They excpect us to sleep in here?"

Asked Cadet,trying to brush away a Web.Lauren shrugged and Sat on the Left Bed,Not even comfertable,probably made of wood.

"What a Crappy Town"

Lauren said,

"They could atleast get some maids to clean these things up..."

Cadet Agreed,On the right Bed.

"what time is it?"

Cadet asked,Yawning.Lauren turned to the Micro-Clock on her bed stand.

"10:30.I dunno 'bout you,But its past my bed time"

Lauren laughed then yawned.With a Quick Blow,she blew out the Candle and snuggled underneath the badly woven quilt.

"'Night"

"Good Night"

After about two hours,The two girls were fast asleep,Until something that shook the hole Hotel woke them up.

"what the heck was that?"

Cried Lauren,sitting up.

"It sounded like a Lion Roar...but bigger"

Peeped Cadet,shaking.

"Lets go see what it is..."

Cadet nodded and the two Kids jumped out of bed and slipped on their Clothes.Cadet took her staff and tapped it on the ground,making a Bright light emit to guide them.They slowly walked out of their room,to be greeted by the others,all with the same question...[/i]
