It was probably the third best show SciFi had, with the first two being Mystery Science Theater 3000 and the re-runs of Slider. I liked the way the show went at the characters. Desention, greed, betrayal among the [i]good-guys[/i]. I liked Chrichten's character, being the obviously semi-insane tough-acting guy with a named gun. And the cloning thing... Solo Tremaine Posted October 8, 2002 Share Posted October 8, 2002 I did think the cloning bit was good. I came in on the episode where...um... I can't say for spoiler reasons. Anyway, I was quite upset and confused. That was when it was good. After the end of Season 3, I felt a bit cheated. I don't know why. My favorite character would probably be Dargo, mostly due to that wicked sword, his badass personality, and I love learning of his past. I don't know everything about the show but I did watch it from time to time. The last episode I remember is where Zhan brings Ayron back to life. Also for those of you who don't know already Yes Farscape has been canceled but not before having a final season airing in December on scifi channel. But what's really got up the noses of fans is that the writers had no idea the show was gonna get canned. Most shows are renewed on a 2/5/7 year basis. VERY few shows get past the 7 yr mark, even the most popular ones, cos as the cast gets a bigger spot of the limelight, their salaries go up accordingly. Anyways, back to Farscape. The writers were oblivious it seems. So were many of the crew. That's why it came as such a shock. And here's the really annoying bit. Since the writers didn't know the show was being shelved, they ended Season 4 with a cliff hanger. And the last frame on the last episode of Farscape has a 'to be continued' sign on it. I think the writers just got crazier and crazier as the series progressed. It's not cancelled here in the UK, but we're quite a way in, all the same. The storylines were better than ST:TNG, they weren't all touchy-feely, pats-on-the back. They set up for what was to come next. Too bad about the cancellation. BY THE WAY, FARSCAPE RULES, they didn't cancel the show. They are just making new episodes...you should know that. But, an anime series and movie are definately being planned. I wonder what the anime will be like. Personally, I've gone off the show a bit. I loved the episode when Jool left, it was upsettin for me as she was my favourite character. I will miss her, I found that a good episode.
