Kneeko Artilles
to be perfectly honest, FF10, I duno exactly why, it just didn't exactly appeal to me, I like the old-style FF9/FFCC story and all. It's just more "Final FANTASY", the key word there is fantasy, I mean FF8 and 10 were okay (and 7 i spose was pretty much the same), but I didn't like the techno-outlook. GinnyLyn
*eyes K.A. and bites tongue painfully* The worst FF game for me was 8, definitely. Rarely have I ever come across a game that I would give up on out of pure boredom--on the first disk, too!! Also, the reasons you mentioned about 10 I direct at 8; 10, IMO, was more in the line of fantasy-based than 8 was.
Kneeko Artilles
YAY!! I'm not the only one!! 4, 5 and 9 are definately my faves just for the record, and I hated 8 as well, but not as much as 10!!
GinnyLyn
Well, FUDGE, Kneeko, I'm teetering between shaking your hand for having some sense and kicking you off a cliff for insulting one of my fab games. ;) :p How about Mystic Quest (it had the FF name on it, regardless of if it was one of them)? That one SUX major time.
G/S/B Master
I hate 8.The diffulculty is really high and it might be the hardest game ever to beat.
SephirothNIN
FF8 = hard? Did you play the game w/ a blindfold on or something? W/ aura and...heh n/m n/m...can talk for a long time about how easy FF8 was...anyway I like all the FF's (ESPECIALLY FFT!), but 8 and X are...lower than the rest, mainly because they lacked certain FF aspects that I've become to used to. MP and equipment in 8, exp in FFX. If I had to pick a 'worst' I'd go with FFX tho, as I liked FF8's story more and plus Sin was a big blob of boredom. Tidus
I thought 8 lacked in storyline, the colors didnt stand out like in 10 and 9 or even seven but it did have its moments but i still rank 8 last on my list.
Flash
Bah! All you people are silly for not liking FFVIII! (despite it's incredible easyness -.-') I personally don't like FFX. Let it be known. And I despise FFIX. Those are, without a doubt, the worst Final Fantasy games to 'grace' the world. IMO, of course... See, it's like this; The hardest Final Fantasy to beat, is FFI. For most people, anyway. People who aren't used to the Old-School RPGs just find it too difficult... *sigh*, and it's one of the best, too. (Along with FFIIIj, FFV, FFVII, and FFVIII!) coolkam007
the only FF game.. i'v ever.. NOT liked, was FFMQ.. .. eh.. FF7 was alright.. but i dont see what all the hype is about.... it was fun, dont get me wrong, i liked it. I just think that sometimes people just say that FF7 is their favorite because other people do.. and about FF, its a title people.. @_@ it doesn't need to be taken literally.. you dont need to disect it.. but if i must.. fan·ta·sy (fnt-s, -z) n. pl. fan·ta·sies 1. The creative imagination; unrestrained fancy. 2. Something, such as an invention, that is a creation of the fancy. 3. A capricious or fantastic idea; a conceit. 4. Fiction characterized by highly fanciful or supernatural elements. 5. An imagined event or sequence of mental images, such as a daydream, usually fulfilling a wish or psychological need. 6. An unrealistic or improbable supposition. and there you go.. Fantasy doesn't only mean.. medievil crap with dragons.. and by this discription.. every final fantasy is true to its name..
James
Ahh, thank you coolkam. I was just taking out the dictionary to prove the point that you just underlined there. If you think "fantasy" means dragons, swords and magic...then you're wrong. Fantasy is a very broad term. If the graceful, surreal architecture in Final Fantasy X is not "fantasy"...then I don't know what is.
