Anime does ne1 becides me dislike the original db?

[COLOR=darkred][SIZE=1]I really loved the humor in DBZ. The episode I can remember in particular - Goku knocks out a few Red Ribbon officers, he then charges off to rescue the village chief from some giant tower? He heads straight out, and the mom and daughter are left in the house. The girl wonders if they will ever see him again, and before they know it, there is Goku at the doorway, half frozen, saying - It's freezing out there! -- I nearly fell out of my bed when I saw that for the first time ^_^ It was way too funny.

I guess I like parts of the DB because Goku is so innocent and he is always being taken advantage of =P It's great to see him overcome so many obsticles in his battles, and it's awesome that he never gives up. Obviously this is the foreshadowing to the next series ^_^ I have not seen too many of the episodes, and they skip around so much, it's hard to tell what part is what??

There are also episodes that I really can't stand to watch. The ones with too much 'love' story going on is pretty pathetic. Some of the episodes have too much storyline that goes nowhere. Just my opinion. [/SIZE][/COLOR]

Too much love story? What love? If romance were fuel, DB wouldn't have enough to drive an ant's motorcycle around the outside of a penny. Episodes when Yamcha & Bulma are together or when ChiChi is with Goku have more of an innocent feeling that only lasts for about five minute at the most.
Sometimes I wonder how the couples on that show have kids. You hardly saw Chi Chi and Goku shake hands, let alone...

Romance is just something that barely makes its way into Dragonball. I guess that's a good thing.

however, In db, all they show, barely at all, would be "puppy love: if anything. There like, 5-9 guys. And bulma is like 14. So, yeah. Just leave it as it is. made for a good debate though.

I kind of like the first season of db but after that I thought that the episodes really became stupid so I stopped watching them.

DB is childish in the whole toilet humor department. I like DB but not better than DBZ. I didn't like the slow pacing of some of hte Pilaf saga, nor do I like Pilaf or his henchmen. Although I prefer the real villains like Frieza and Cell (before they turned into running jokes in the Majin Buu saga), I do like the storylines in DB, over the "put a 30 episodes of powering up and fighting together and call it a story" type episodes that appears in DBZ (no offense to you guys. I like this show but I don't "love" it as much anymore) Any ways, it is also great to see cool characters that actually have roles in the series alongside Goku. Yamcha, Tien, Krillen and Choatsu were actually enjoyable to watch. Now I cringe whenever I hear how much of a sniveling coward a grown man like Yamcha has become.

What they did to Yamcha in DBZ was horrible. It was like the guy died everytime he put on his gi. Him being an active character in DB is a major plus.

Well DB is okay....but sadly its no were near DBZ or DB-GT.
