I can't pass Bomb Da Base: Act II, 8-Ball keeps getting
'diced'...Is there a cheat to advance in the game?

No advance cheat. Just use the weapon cheat if you have to and bombard the ship with rockets before 8-Ball even sets foot on it. Or work on your sniping skills if you can't snipe you won't go far.

I used to set up my vehicle next to something and then snipe off that. But eventually I realized the problems.

When you get into the complex go to the stairs that are on the side of the building to your right. The stairs are on the side of the building that the boat is on.

Climb those and then you will be able to see everyone on the boat.

Snipe those suckers out from the elevated position on that platform.

That's what I did gokents, I couldn't get it the first few times and then I relised that game must have a different way and then I noticed the roof tops and found the one I could get up and once I had that the mission was a sinch. :)

Or, if you want to have some fun, use the slow-mo code, the full health+full armor cheat, get all of the weapons and get lots of ammo (with that same code), and use the AK after you blow the crap out of the ship first. It's really a fun mission once you get it down and know what to do.

I give up. I'v tried everything, slow down game, extra weapons, everything. I get to the bridge, then the guards start shooting, car blows up. 8Ball gets 'iced'. Mission Failed. ;(

I'll never play this game again!

Don't just stand on the bridge. Here's what you do. Use the rocket laucnher and shoot everywhere where you saw guards at. But do it quick. Then take out the Uzi or Handgun and run nonstop ONTO the bridge and look left. If you see no one over there, quickly turn around and get the AK out. Why the AK? It's fully automatic, it has great distance for the lock-on, and it's pretty damaging.

Kill all guards by the crates to the right. Be careful because there are a lot of them and they can hurt you badly. If your armor wears out, switch to your Uzi, and run around while using the autolock. After you kill all of the guards, get off of the ship, because it'll mushroom up in a sec after 8-Ball goes to the door lookin thing, that's the last bomb. And I have been caught on the ship before when it blows up; if you're too far onto the ship, you might die.

Don't give up on GTA3 just because one mission is hard. I can't get past that mission with Kenji where you kill the SPANK dealers.

Damn, this was always my favorite mission. I'd be happy to help as best I can.

Firstly, make sure you have plenty on ammo for your sniper rifle. Climb onto the roof of the warehouse, and get your scope up. Look at the two guards that are guarding the bridge. Shoot the one that is furthest away from you. The other one will be distracted for a moment before he runs, so you must be very quick to shoot him also. Then, move along the ship to the right, take your time in lining up your shot, it's useless rushing if you keep missing shots. You should only be taking one shot to kill each one. Also, if you see a group of guards shooting at 8 -ball, always take out the ones furthest away first. The closer ones tend to shoot less (because they are easier to hit), and 8-ball can take quite a pounding off those.
