Some of you may remember this... Unfortunately some ignorant people ruined it for me but I'm going to try this again! Let's see what happens this time hopefully It won't get all messed up like it did last time. feel free to use characters you signed up for last time.

The year is 3000 and the Earth is in Ruins. After Apocolypse finished off the X-Men once and for all he subjugated all humanity and mutant kind alike and since then they have been made as slave's to the Beast and his 4 Horsemen. But now Apocolypse is not the enemy, Evil has a new face, one even darker than apocolypse himself. This Menace has dubbed himself The Herald of Oblivion and arrived on earth in 2980, there was a huge war between the two titans of evil in which after 10 years of battle and countless lives lost wether innocent or not there was only one victor... The Herald of Oblivion.

The time is now back to the present... Human kind has been all but whiped out and the Mutants go into hiding for fear of utter annihalation by The Herald. In these dark times however there still lies hope. That hope rests within a new breed of mutants, one that may very well finally have the power to destroy The Herald once and for all!

Sorry I couldn't give you more of a plot but I dont' wanna give away all the good stuff now...

The Most important Rule: If you play a mutant, your power cannot instantly kill The Herald or Any other player's Character without their permission first!

This is what your character sheet should look like.

Real name: Robert "Bobby" Drake '

Age:35 (Im making him oldier and a little more mature)

Sex: male

Powers: Iceman is able to lower his external and internal body temperature, thereby radiating intense cold. In addition, he can transform himself into ice at will and freeze any moisture in the air around him -- thus generating slides, shields, bats and other objects. He is immune to sub-zero temperatures.

History: Bobby Drake discovered his mutant power to create ice while in his early teens, yet kept his condition hidden from everyone but his parents. When bullies attacked Bobby and his girlfriend, the youngster panicked. He temporarily encased their ringleader in ice, thus revealing his abilities for all to see. Believing the boy to be a menace, the townspeople organized a lynch mob. They broke into Bobby's home and overpowered him, but the local sheriff took the teenager into custody for his own protection. Meanwhile, the situation had come to the attention of telepath Charles Xavier -- mentor to the masked, mutant X-Men.

Professor X dispatched his first X-Man -- Cyclops, cursed with uncontrollable optic blasts -- to contact Bobby. Cyclops stole into the jailhouse as planned, but the two began fighting when Bobby refused to accompany him. Caught by the lynch mob, Cyclops and Bobby were about to be hanged when they broke free. Professor X used his psionic powers to halt the townspeople in their tracks and erase their memories of Bobby's abilities. A grateful Bobby then accepted Xavier's invitation to enroll at his School for Gifted Youngsters, home to a handful of troubled teenagers learning to control their strange powers...and fighting to preserve their teacher's dream of peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants.

Hated and feared by humanity, the X-Men honed their amazing abilities while standing in defense of a world pushed to the brink of genetic war by a handful of mutant terrorists. Iceman, the team's youngest founding member, became known as the comedian of the group. Regardless, he pulled his weight and worked well with rest of the X-Men. When the island-being known as Krakoa took Iceman and his teammates captive, Professor X assembled a second squad of X-Men. These new recruits rescued Xavier's original students, most of whom left the team soon after.

For a time, Bobby attempted to live a normal life. Eventually, he joined the Champions of Los Angeles -- a short-lived team of costumed adventurers founded by the high-flying Angel, Iceman's classmate at Xavier's school. When the Champions disbanded, Bobby went to college to study accounting. Later, he joined the Defenders -- originally a loose-knit collection of loners like the Incredible Hulk, green-skinned engine of mass destruction; Prince Namor, the Atlantean Sub-Mariner; Dr. Strange, Master of the Mystic Arts and Earth's Sorcerer Supreme; and the Silver Surfer, Lone Sentinel of the Spaceways. Iceman helped reorganize the team into a more formal and cohesive unit -- along with Angel and the blue-furred Beast, another of the Professor's original students. The Defenders disbanded when several of their members appeared to perish during a climactic battle.

Shortly after the Defenders' demise, Bobby joined the other founding X-Men to form X-Factor. During this period, the Asgardian trickster Loki increased Iceman's powers to such an extent that he was forced to wear a power-dampening belt. Once able only to sheathe his own body in a protective coating of ice, he now could encase the entirety of the Empire State Building. With time, Iceman gained sufficient control over his augmented powers that he was able to jettison the inhibitor belt. Believing he had achieved his full potential, Bobby never attempted to push himself beyond his perceived limits.

When Professor Xavier returned to Earth following an extended absence in outer space, Iceman and the other members of X-Factor rejoined the X-Men. Shortly thereafter, Iceman confronted former Cosmonaut Mikhail Rasputin, reality-warping brother of his steel-skinned teammate Colossus. Rasputin forced Bobby into a form composed entirely of ice, affording the young mutant a glimpse into his true nature. Subsequently, Bobby began experimenting with his abilities -- using ice to add mass to his slight frame, or lift himself high into the air without the benefit of his usual slides. Months later, the psychically incapacitated Emma Frost took mental possession of Iceman. Frost, the psionically powered mutant known as the White Queen, was able to activate the full extent of Bobby's powers. Until coaxed back into her own body by Professor Xavier, she pushed his form to the limit. With Frost's prodding, Iceman later learned to transform his body into its full-ice state on his own.

Two subsequent events served to shed further light on Iceman's untapped potential. To secure a new host body, the would-be conqueror Apocalypse sought to siphon the awesome energies of "The Twelve" -- mutants of incredible power, destined to alter the course of human history. Among their number was Iceman, who survived the ordeal thanks only to the apparent sacrifice of Cyclops. A second defining event occurred when the sentient spaceship Prosh escaped the confines of a Celestial prison, returned to Earth and dispatched a group of disparate beings on a journey through time to uncover the keys to preserving human evolution. Their mission: Save the human race from a threat that might not manifest itself for millions of years. When Prosh reassembled the members of his team in the present, they fought and defeated the enigmatic alien entity known as the Stranger, who sought to control the natural evolution of humans and mutants. These experiences forced Iceman into the realization that he no longer need fear the evolution of his abilities, and he returned to the X-Men to explore his mutant powers to the fullest.

Name: Silrain

Mutant Name: Moon Chaser

Age: 18

Sex: Hmmm....let's examine this question....Female.

Mutant Ability: Rouge's. We all know what that is...right?

Bio: Like Rouge, Silrain lived a relatively normal life until she was 16...
The manifestation of her mutant powers was the cause of her mother's death. After coming home from school, Silrain discovered an unknown mutant killing her mother...as soon as she stepped into the room, he fled the scene, leaving her mother mortaly wounded. As soon as Silrain took her mother in her arms, she screamed....every memory her mother had possessed entered her mind....and her energy level went beserk...

Indirectly, Silrain caused her mother's death. This caused Silrain to become incredibly jaded and bitter. However, she posesses the control Rouge never reached. This allows her to have skin to skin contact with people, which makes the chance of a romance possible...but it is not likely that she will chose to let herself fall in love. The Herald does not know of her existance yet, and for that, she is truly thankful.

One positive thing that has happened from her mother's murder is the knowledge she possessed of fighting and dance. The slingblade style of battle passed directly into Moon Chaser's psyche, making her not only deadly to the touch, but deadly to take on in battle. The art of ballet infused itself into her body, gives her strength, flexibility and a degree of agility that often saves her in battle

The name Moon Chaser comes from what happens when she touches another. Whenever she absorbes their life force, her face becomes more pale than usual and her body begins to glow...self explanitory...really...

Short Description: see attatchment. And no, the pink is not going to stay that way. It's temporary....like her sanity.

Schratn9, I'm sorry but Iceman is unavailable as a player character because this takes place about 950years after he would have died of old age and bishop has access to time travel devices so he is able to be played. The only reason I'm allowing EFK to be wolverine is because one of his mutant abilities is immortal to age.

Please make up your own mutant or make it believable.

Just a small note ... Proffessor X was middle aged in the year 2000 so he wouldn't be around in the Year 3000 and neither would most of the rest of the X-Men except for Wolverine(who is immortal to age), and cable and bishop(cause they time travel).

Name: Yama Yuugi (surname-name)
Mutant Name: Gravitonne
Age:31
Sex:Male
Mutant Ability: Gravity Manipulation and Flight
Bio: Yuugi had been born in space away from Earth on a planet with a much higher gravity than Earth's own and while on that planet he was just like everyone else. However when word came to him that earth was in such grave danger he decided to go and do what he could to bring the planet the freedom they deserved by hopefully bringing an end to The Herald and it's Demonic Minions. After weeks of searching he finally located the ancient ruins of what used to be professor X's X-Men HQ. From there he used his superior intelligence to glean the information from the nearly unworkable machine and began to search out mutants and humans alike to join his team. The first he found of course was Logan/Wolverine and they Trained with each other for many month's while searching for more members finally when he had enough people he announced to them that they will be the new X-Men and hopefully they will be able to live up to the same legendary status that the originals had.
Description: Very Skinny and toned, quite dextrous as well. Not very strong but his mutant power makes up for that ability.. he has long shiny almost metallic black hair and steel grey eyes. His fingers are long and thin and end in long filed fingernails and his skin is tightly drawn against his body.

Name:Nathan Christopher Charles Summers
Mutant Name: Cable
Age: 30
Sex: Male
Mutant Ability: A telepathic and telekinetic mutant, Cable's physical attributes have been enhanced to superhuman levels. Although his telekinesis allows him to levitate objects and erect protective force shields, he must turn the majority of his energies inward to prevent the techno-organic virus with which he is infected from ravaging the remainder of his body. Cable's techno-organic left arm and shoulder possess even greater strength than his entirely organic right appendage. Similarly, his right eye enables him to see into the infrared spectrum.
Bio: The time-tossed soldier called Cable was born in the latter part of the 20th century to Scott Summers -- a.k.a. the X-Man known as Cyclops, cursed with uncontrollable optic blasts. Subsequently, Nathan was infected with a techno-organic virus created by Apocalypse. The mutant warlord feared the baby one day would develop the power to destroy him. As the virus threatened to transform Nathan's body into a mass of liquid metal and organic steel, a member of the time-traveling Clan Askani appeared to Cyclops. She revealed that Nathan would mature into mankind's savior even as he was cured of the virus, but only if the youngster accompanied her 2,000 years into the future. Choosing to save his son's life, but believing he would never see the boy again, Cyclops assented.

The clan raised Nathan to be the Askani'son -- preordained to deliver the world from annihilation at the hands of Apocalypse and his disciples, the New Canaanites. Still, Mother Askani -- the clan's matriarch -- created a clone of Nathan. She feared he would not survive the techno-organic virus. The clone -- kidnapped by the Canaanites, who thought the boy to be the real Nathan -- grew into the mutant madman known as Stryfe. Nathan was raised by Slym and Redd -- actually Cyclops and his wife, the telepathic Jean Grey. Their souls had been drawn into the future and inhabited new bodies. During this time, Nathan discovered how to use his telekinetic abilities to halt the spread of the virus. But already the disease had deformed the left side of his body, now cybernetic in appearance. After a teenage Nathan used his powers to resist Apocalypse, the souls of Cyclops and Phoenix were returned to the era of their birth.

To fulfill his mission as the Askani'son, Nathan returned to the 20th century to end the reign of Apocalypse before it could begin. Now answering to the name Cable, he formed a mercenary outfit called the Wild Pack, later known as the Six Pack. Stryfe, who also had traveled to the 20th century, decimated the Six Pack when the team assaulted one of his hidden bases. Seriously wounded, Cable returned to the future. There, he discovered records claiming that Sam Guthrie, the human rocket called Cannonball, existed at least into the 23rd century. Cable believed Guthrie to be the next in a line of immortal mutants known as Externals. To guide the youngster's ascension, he returned to the present to take command of Guthrie's team -- the New Mutants, former students of Professor Charles Xavier. Cable reorganized the squad into the strike team known as X-Force.

Believing himself to be the real Nathan, Stryfe attempted to assassinate the telepathic, telekinetic Xavier -- and kidnapped Cyclops and Phoenix in retaliation for their supposed abandonment of him as an infant. During the battle that ensued, Cable and Stryfe tumbled into a temporal rift; both were thought to be destroyed. In fact, the two mutants survived. Cable returned to the present and X-Force, finally providing the team with an explanation of his origins -- which soon was confirmed. Cable subsequently experienced a marked increase in his telekinetic abilities, as well as the re-emergence of his latent telepathic powers. As a consequence, the techno-organic virus claimed an even greater percentage of his flesh and blood.

Cable fulfilled his destiny when Apocalypse sought to siphon the awesome energies of "The Twelve" -- mutants of incredible power, destined to alter the course of human history. Cable, Cyclops, Phoenix, and a number of their allies and adversaries were linked to a machine that would channel their energies into Apocalypse, allowing him to absorb a new host body. When his plans were overturned, Apocalypse instead took possession of Cyclops and fled. The first X-Man was presumed dead by most of his teammates; only Cable and Jean refused to believe he had perished. Investigating rumors and hearsay, they found him alive and struggling to reassert his mind over Apocalypse's psyche. With Jean's help, Cable exorcised the warlord and shattered his essence.

Having reluctantly taken his father's place among the X-Men, Cable broke with the team following a long-festering philosophical rift. Increasingly, he had found himself questioning Xavier's dream of peaceful coexistence between man and mutant. Cable believes the war between Homo sapiens and Homo superior already has begun...and that only he can stop it. And so he travels the globe, forcibly intervening in world conflicts -- targeting terrorism, Communism, ethic cleansing and the oppression of any minority by a tyrannical majority. He is a solider; he makes his own rules. In Cable's mind, the ends justify the means.
Short Description: Short grey hair, one eye gleams with white energy, bg, muscular, one arm looks metallic but is actually the compressed form of the virus inside his body/ Has a suit like Cyclops'.

Real name: Nathan Grey

Code Name: X-man

Age: Undetermined

Sex:Male

Mutant Ability: Possibly the planet's most powerful mutant, Nate Grey possessed vast psionic abilities. He was also a telepath of the highest order -- able to create psionic illusions; read, probe and control the minds of others; and extract a psionic entity from the astral plane. Also, he could generate destructive psionic spikes and lift objects weighing more than 10 tons.

Bio: X-Man was a refugee from alternate timeline in which the mutant warlord called Apocalypse ruled North America. One of Apocalypse's Horseman, Mr. Sinister, created Nate Grey from the genetic material of that reality's Cyclops and Jean Grey -- known on our Earth as members of the X-Men, an outlaw band of heroic mutant adventurers. Born and raised in Sinister's slave pens, Nate was released years later by Cyclops, who had turned against Apocalypse. Following his escape, Nate joined Forge, leader of a traveling band of performers secretly conducting a campaign of guerrilla warfare on Apocalypse's minions in the American Midwest.

Realizing the catastrophic implications of his master's continued reign, Sinister sought out and murdered Forge. He then revealed to Nate the reason for his conception: to destroy Apocalypse. Grief-stricken over Forge's death, Nate lashed out with his psionic powers and killed the twisted geneticist. Reeling from his creator's revelation, he journeyed to Apocalypse's citadel in what once was New York City. There, Nate encountered the X-Men -- led in this timeline by Magneto, Master of Magnetism -- and aided the mutant freedom fighters in their assault on the fortress.

During the attack, Nate engaged the Horseman Holocaust in a pitched battle. In an attempt to breach Holocaust's armor, Nate stabbed him with a shard of the recently recovered M'Krann Crystal, a nexus for all realities, and both combatants vanished.

Through the powers of the M'Krann Crystal, Nate found himself transported to our Earth, landing in the Alps. When he came to, his subconscious need for companionship recreated a physical body for the dissipated essence of the then-deceased Madelyne Pryor, a Sinister-created clone of Jean Grey who had clashed with the X-Men as the seemingly insane Goblin Queen. The two became fast friends, journeying together through Europe. Her true nature discovered, Pryor later fell before the combined psionic strength of Nate and Jean. During his travels, Nate learned that Sinister had genetically engineered his psionic powers to kill him before he turned 21. For a time, Nate blocked his access to his telekinetic abilities to prevent his untimely death.

A paradoxical being born of a reality that never will exist, Nate dedicated the totality of his talents to the preservation of his adopted homeworld. The promise of his powers fully realized, X-Man became a modern-day mutant shaman -- existing to heal and guide his tribe, though forced to live outside it. He loved them as a parent loves a child, without question. A world-walker, he fought to protect the planet from the incomprehensible, impossible threats of the multiverse -- parallel Earths strung along a spiral from one end of reality to another. To save humanity from destruction, he sacrificed himself for the greater good, allowing his energy to flow into every being on the planet. Awoken nearly Nine hundred years later, by a governent program, Nate is trapped in the body of a clone of his younger self. Only to be let out if an extreme crisis threatens the earth, X-man is alienated in a small cylinder tube, connected to nearly hundreds of wires, for monitoring his body.
