Tommy Vercetti
Are you talking about the fellowship of the rings because if so i have played it and it is pretty cool and i think it follows the story well but im not sure if it is one of the games to save the xbox as i dont know an awful lot about the xbox it is best to ask someone who knows alot about games. RicoTranzrig
Well, since it's not an x-box exclusive, I doubt that this is the game that can save it. Besides, it doesn't need any saving right now. The Two Towers is the better of the two games, featuring a short sequence of the first movie, then it's sequel is played out for the majority of the game. It doesn't give you all the detail of the storyline but it brushes through a lot of the important parts. Good game for all three consoles.
Bing
Ah, the Xbox doesn't need saving, get over it! This game is cool, I played it in a video store, although when The Two Towers comes out, I will probably buy it! That is a great game and as RicoTranzrig said, it's the better of the two.
Tommy Vercetti
I have seen my bro play two towers and i think its pretty cool and i think it should be good on the xbox if the graphics are good.
Bing
There is no 'if'. It's a fact that the graphics wil be better, I mena, the Xbox is a more powerful machine. The Two Towers is a great game, and I'm sure it's being released on the XBox, correct me if I'm wrong. Do we even know what LOTR game this is about yet?
Tommy Vercetti
i think this thread is about the fellowship of the rings because at present that is the only one available on the xbox but unless it is released in america or something then i may be wrong. Bing
I was told that the Fellowship had less action in it, and was more of an RPG, where as the Two Towers is a 'Dynasty Warriors' style smash 'em up! Devon, with you being the creator and all, do you think you could reply to us, and tell us a) what game, and b) a brief description of the game?
Tommy Vercetti
I think he was referring to the first one and yes the Lord of the Rings is more of an RPG rather than Dynasty Warriors style game. It is basically following the story of frodo's travels i think. The second one looks alot better and the graphics look realistic which i quite like and there is more action with killing and fights etc.
Bing
Yeh, in The Two Towers, you get to play as Aragan, Gimli and Legolas *shreeks like a girl*. There's someone else too, but I've forgotten who, I think it may be Frodo. Expect LOTS more action in The Two Towers, and a lot more excitment, in the form of fighting and adventuring. Much like the two films really, Two Towers was a lot more action packed than The Fellowship.
 Tommy Vercetti
Well in Lord of The Rings the two towers on the xbox you played as Aragorn, Gimli and legolas as you said but you could unlock a special character he was some kind of knight or soldier i think but he was a sort of main character. I don't know if this is the same on the xbox though. I heard a rumour that the two towers was supposed to be 2 player on xbox but i don't know if its true as most reviews are now saying its only one player. Does anyone know if this is true or not?? Bing
Well, I've read that Legolas is the best character in the game, and I'm sure that there is some type of reward for finishing the game, like an extra character. How cool would it be if you could play as...Gollum! Dude, that would rock. Anyway, I don't know about the truth of that rumour, but that would be very cool also. I've seen reviews and trailers, and there is a cleve blend where film turns into game throughout the whole game, to keep you up to detail with the story. A very good idea.
 Tommy Vercetti
You can play the level of Helms Deep and i think it would be cool if it was like a dynasty warriors style massive battle with enemies jumping over the walls and throwing up ladders which would be very amazing but it would take alot of time and effort to get everything to work and there may be glitches. Playing as Gollum would be funny and if he said his little phrases like "precious" etc.
 2 weeks later... Bing
Like Dynasty Warriors, LOTR : Two Towers is taking the same 'hack-and-slash' approach to fighting. It looks very good, and after reading some long, brain aching reviews, i've decided I will possible buy this. Does anyone else have any other information to sway my decison of 'to buy, or not to buy'
 Tommy Vercetti
I would buy it for the xbox as i reckon the graphics will be alot better than the PS2 ones and if you like the Dynasty Warrior type games then i think this would be good as it is that with a hint of RPG i think. I think there should be more characters to play as like Frodo and Bilbo Baggins etc. I prefer LOTR: Two Towers to the first one as it isn't as much of an RPG and is more action based.
