Guest victory
1. Can i put a 5-8 level monster in defense mode with out tribute? cus putting them in defense mode isn't summoning them right? if you can do this, what happens when it gets attacked. 2. Can you attack and then use the same monster for tribute? 3. If a defense monster is attacked, does it stay faced up? 4. Can a monster be faced up and on def. mode. if so...why would you want to do this? heh 5. Do you have to have five or less cards in your hands at all times. 6. Are cards like wasteland, or sogen field cards? is toon world a field card? and how do field cards get detroyed. 7. I think according to some "Kirby" guy's post in a different thread he or she said that you cant put a monster in def. mode and then normal summon another monster. is this true? cus i always thought you could. 8. can you lay as many monsters in def mode as you want. as long as you dont exceed the monster limit (5) 9. i dont get "Cyber Jar" effect. 10. the trap card "magic jammer" has a Counter icon on it. but counter trap cards play just like other trap cards right? you play it during the other persons turn. just like "trap hole" for example. so i dont get why magic jammer gets the counter icon and trap hole doesnt. cus most trap cards seem to counter something. 11. when equiping monsters w/ an equip card, does that card stay equiped until the monster dies? ....yeah...i thinks thats it....for now. help yo! Hyper
1) no, still have to pay tributes 2)Yes, in your MainPhase2, but you can summon only one per turn. 3)Yes, it remains face-up 4) Playing a monster in DEF mdoe has to be face down, Playing a monster in ATK must be played face-up. 5)At the end of your trun, discard cards until your hand is at 5 cards. If it is already at 5-cards or less, your fine. 6) Yes, they are field cards Field cards get destoyed when another field card is in paly. Only one field card is allowed. You could also use cards like Heavy storm and De-Spell. 7) That was me, I made a mistake. 8)Yes, but not in the same turn 9) When Cyber Jar is destoyed or flipped, destroy all monsters on the field. both players deiscard their hands. You draw that same amount from your deck. Play all your 4-star or less monsters on the field. I do not know if you can play them in DEF mode. 10) I have no idea. I guess it is used, to counter certaina ctions, even though they pretty much all do that..lol
Guest victory
thanks for all the help, but i have some few questions... i think in the rule book it does say that you can play as many cards in one turn as you want in defense mode. i looked in the rule book to see how many cards you can have in your hand and i couldn't find where it said that you can only have five cards in your hand. i also cant find the answer to number 1 either...about not paying tribute for a level 5-8 monster in def.mode. so may i ask where you got your info from? Guest victory
i have yet more questons...would you consider it cheating if you put Lord of D. Flute of Summoning Dragon, and Blue Eyes all next to eachother so that when your opponent shuffled your deck, they would all be next to eachothr (most likely), and when you play swords of revealing light... does it only hold the monsters on the field from attacking... for does it hld your opponants future monsters too. iggy
for the swords of revealing light just the monsters on the field not future monsters.. and yeah putting a combo on top of one another is pretty much cheating
Hyper
Yes that is cheating. you cannot arrange your deck.
