DAI
Craig says to Andrew: Andrew, this is my RPG, and I do not want teleporting in it. Note that Kain is almost a millenia old, and Vorador is even older. What's more, Kain cannot teleport in Blood Omen, he can only warp back to his sanctuary, as YOU should know. It is absurd to have a 150 year old vampire with such a powerful technique as teleporting. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Raziel drives his sword through the neck of yet another Sarafan, and wipes the blood from his mouth. He could feel the rich bood flowing through his veins, every capillary surged with energy. He was done feeding, it was time for them to go. He made his way to th top of the hill, next to the tomb. He stood atop it, staring into the night, and held his sword into the air, crying loudly. Raziel: Come my bretherin, our master wants us. Make haste now, to the village Southwards. Turel, Dumah, Rahab, Zephon and Melchiah reacted instantly, having been reborn with the knowledge that Raziel was their commander. He was the first of Kain's lleutenants. They finished their fights, and turned, they could feel the mighty presence of their master away to the south, in the village where they were told to go. Raziel noticed their acknowledgement of the order, and then ran down the banking, pacing towards the town of Normus.
Andrew
As usual, you take everything to an offence and argue. If I?m not mistaken, which I?m not, I said that I WASN?T attacking you and that I was just STATING a fact. It just ticked me a little that you said ?this is not a Draginball Z RPG for hell's sake? (Your exact words, including the spelling mistake) when teleportation is a technique used in both Soul Reaver and Blood Omen and not just Dragonball Z. Anyway, I?m done. ---------------------------------- Khan glided through the air with great grace, cutting away flesh and bones with metal and flame. All that remained of the three Sarafan that he had just attacked were smouldering remains. Khan could smell it?s fresh scent, he grinned to himself. He instantly turned to attack again. He aimed his attack at the heart of his next victim. Plunging his fiery blade straight through his body. Khan was ecstatic at hearing the horrendous scream of the Sarafan warrior. Khan then swung his blade around knocking over five other Sarafan as well as throwing the other off his sword. Khan held his sword up high then pulled it down dragging it straight through the top of another Sarafan?s head. It cut all the way down through his body, Khan moving slightly to the right in his chest to avoid hitting the heart. The Sarafan fell into two pieces. Khan spun into a roundhouse kick sending the one half flying at a large group of Sarafan. The left side of the body, which had the heart on it, Khan picked up and began to suck the blood from. He then picked up the heart of the Sarafan, dropped it under his boot and crushed it. For the first time in a long while Khan was about to talk. Khan: In the words of one great vampire from the mouth of another...Call your dogs, they can feast on your corpses! With that said Khan laughed demonically and began swinging violently, taking the head of all Sarafan nearby. He then, using his sword, set fire to the tents of the camp and left the Sarafan to burn in their own camp. His smile widened immensely as he walked up the cliff the other side of the camp heading towards Raspeth. He put his sword back on his back, the flame dousing under Khan?s command. He continued his walk, just as hastily as before, after all he still had a task to fulfil for his master.
Yoda
Well your not stating a fact, and here are the reasons why. Note; these reasons are researched, just to make sure there is no more argueing. 1. Kain acquires the ability to freely teleport 450 years after Raziel comes into his service, through a metamorphic transformation. He is roughly the age of 1500 at this point. 2. Vorador gains a limited ability of teleportation at the age of 1000, where he is able to teleport to places he is extremely familiar with, or to people he is extremely familiar with. Now, please note Super Gohan's post, where he teleports to Kain, who he has never met before, and then freely teleports to the top of a mountain again to start fighting. The fact that I didn't want teleporting in my RPG is common sense, because no vampire, not even Kain at this point, would be able to use it freely, as he clearly did. And regardless of all these technicalities, my rules are my rules, and I do not expect them to be debated, as my rules clearly benefit the life and fairness of the RPG. I expect everyone, including Super Gohan can see why I took away his teleporting ability, everyone except you that is. Now, end of discussion. On with the RPG. ---------------------------------------------------------- Kain marched, without care, down one of Normus' main streets. The stench of sweet human flesh was so potent it made his mouth water, his desire to feed was immense. However, he would have to wait for another meal, his business now resided inside the Blue Harvest Tavern. Vorador had informed him before he left that atleast one vampire supporter would be waiting there. The civilians he passed were to afraid to run, to afraid to attack, or even to afraid to scream when they saw Kain, which satisfied him greatly... and yet, made him feel empty. In a way, he longed for that time when he had first woken from his 400 years of torment, when he was the hunter, fighting his way through the slums of Meridian, fighting thugs, rogues and thieves. That was the only time when he truelly felt powerful, when he was fighting with his claws only, ripping flesh from bone, tearing at arteries, and ripping out organs, with only his strength, claws and hunting nature as his tools. Kain thinks: Day will break soon. Khan, he shall have to find shelter on that long road to Raspeth. Though, knowing him, he is already in the town, decimating the Sarafana ranks and laughing at it all the way. Infact, I think I shall check. *Whispers:* Khan, how goes the task? Khan: Sire, I have not yet reached Raspeth, but already the road has given me a few... pleasent results. Kain: I'm sure it has. That road, it is full of caverns and mystical caves, very few of which have been explored, or even found. I am guessing that is what you refer to? Khan: Yes, my lord. You are indeed very perceptive. Kain: It is no surprise. I have been plotting to travel across that route ever since my rise to power. If this... thing benefits your service to me, then I am indeed happy for you. Khan: Thank you sire. A smile spread across Kain's face, even the most dedicated vampire has a lust for power, a lust for the time when they may be able to beat their master. But no longer Kain thought, not with the nexus stone destroyed and the Soul Reaver in his possesion. His eyes fixed upon the sign for the Blue Harvest tavern, on the corner of the street. He fixed one hand upon the hilt of the Reaver. Kain: Time to pay our little friend a visit.
Raquel
OOC: Ok... I've deleted my post from before and I'm ignoring EFK's... (No offence) Because the way that started isn't going anywhere... Oh... And... For everyone?s sake I hope you take this seriously... Just because I'm a girl, doesn?t mean I scream or cry, or... Sing? (For the record, I'd sound like a raven with a sore throat) And... EFK, I'm touched... But a I really don't think this is the right place for "mushy stuff"... Now... If I haven't cleared that point enough... PM me... I really don't want to be clogging this up with any more spam than strictly necessary... IC: Siren had been watching Kahn ever since he had reached the halfway mark to Raspeth... She had watched with interest as he slaughtered the Sarafan, watched as he traveled, shielding herself from his senses and following warily... She moved so she was in front of him and waited for him to become aware of her... He slowed and she smirked Siren(whispered): You are different... You appear to be more powerful than most vampires that travel this road... Much less show their face... Siren stepped out about 5 feet ahead of him and crossed her arms... Siren: Something has... Happened... Why are you traveling to Raspeth?
Andrew
Your point is met, I did have more to say but I?ll leave it. ------------------------- Khan?s fast walking was slowed as he began to sense someone following him or stalking him. He could tell that it was a female vampire, by the sent. His nostrils moved only slightly as he sniffed her out. He was anxious to discover her intentions. Yet, to his surprise she approached him face to face. Siren: *whispering* You are different... You appear to be more powerful than most vampires that travel this road... Much less show their face... Khan now saw her standing in his way, staring directly at him. Siren: Something has... Happened... Why are you traveling to Raspeth? Khan: You, who are so quick to learn of my intentions, tell me yours first... Siren: I am Siren, that is all you need to know... Khan: Very well. I am Khan, second in command under the great vampire Kain. I am on my way to Raspeth to recruit all those willing to serve Kain...and destroy all who oppose him. Are you interested my dear? Siren stood in thought for a moment. Khan had no time to wait, he had orders from his master and he would not be slowed down. Khan: If you don?t mind I have a job to finish, you can ponder on your decision while walking with me, if you decide that you don?t want to serve Kain I will see to it that you do not hinder us. Siren: Easy now big fella, I?ll walk with you for a while and then we?ll see. Khan: Very well. Khan was easily twice the size of this Siren yet he felt she had some powers within her. He decided to let her come along, she could be of help in ?convincing? other male vampires, although Khan?s brute force and determination to his master would convince them. Khan began his hasty walk again Siren following close behind. Khan *Whispering to Kain* My master, I have found a female vampire on the way to Raspeth known as Siren. I have had her to follow me and hopefully her allegiance will be to you. Kain: Good Khan, continue your duty. Khan: Yes...my master. The two vampires began their ascent of the small cliff that led them up to the town of Raspeth. There were a few bars near to the entrance of Raspeth which were rumoured to have vampire supporters in them. These small taverns were Khan?s destination.

The Harlequin
OOC: I go away for a few days, and it falls down around everyone's ears.... Normally it's my actually being involved that causes that to happen.... IC: Lacroix strode off into the darkness, ignoring the cowering forms that huddled around the open square. His cloaked enveloped him, and the darkness concealed his swift movements away. By the time these pathetic humans got over their irrational fear of a single vampyre, which probably wasn't all that irrational, all things considered, Lacroix would be far from here. Yoda
The tomb was quiet, the coffins emtpy. Yet, the air was filled with a quiet evil, one about to resurface. The six had long since left, the Sarafan were dead, but the earth tremored with an unknown force. A giant fissure buckled the groung, ripping the floor of the tomb into pieces. Fallen carcasses of the Sarafan were tossed metres into the air, some landing 50 feet or more away out of the sheer force of the fissure. The ground itself was being forced apart, something had awoken, deep in the night, and was trying to get out. A giant, scaled hand broke through the rocky surface, giant claws lined with dirt and blood. The cracked skin wretched in the cold night air, but the... creature, continued to dig itself out. Another arm ripped out of the buckled floor, still bearing the giant spear with which it was buried. Then it's head barged through the debris, one of it's giant, snake like eyes had been ripped from its socket, leaving a bloody, ***** mess where the eye should have been. It's teeth, no, fangs, were like swords, though many were cracked or chipped. It screeched, making the mountain shake with pulsating energy. Using it's giant arms, the creature yanked itself out from his muddy grave, and it stood again, alive. The creature was truly mighty, it's head nearly in contact with the tomb's roof. It's giant shoulder puched into the tomb's walls, and it's giant arms had literally crushed the coffins of Turel and Rahab. With one giant step, the creature rammed through the wall of the tomb, meeting the night for the first time in millenia. The creature sniffed the air, and then yelled in one mighty roar; ??? KAIN! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kain sensed it. He was at the door of the Blue Harvest, and he heard the call of his name. What was going on? Was this voice real, and if so, was it friend or foe? Kain sensed it was at the Sarafan camp, he could feal his presence. So it is real Kain thought. Should he go and see this thing, or should he wait for chance to bring it to him? Chaos
Medra climbed up a wall, in a most animalistic means. His vampiric claws grew thicker, but not by his own bidings. Something inside of him was changing. He soon found it, as he topped the roof of the building that he was slinking upwards on, that it was hard to stand fully up-right. His shoulders now drooped slightly, as his walk became more barbaric. But still, he continued his search for Vampire Supporters. Killing the occasional thug and thief with ease, and a few brutal slaughterings of worthless humans, Medra soon realized what was happening to him. While he may have looked less civilized, his power was growing. So the legend was true. The 'Maul' skill did have it's share of side-affects. No matter, as Medra decided. His job would not be hindered by these new changes; on the contrary, his mission would be much easier.
Andrew
Khan and Siren were just about to touch the steps leading up to the town gates of Raspeth when Khan came to an immediate halt. Siren noticed his stopping and turned to talk to him but before she could he swung himself around and stared back towards the direction he had come from. Khan had sensed the huge unrest, and he had sensed exactly what his master had though of it. He knew where his master had gone and Khan knew exactly what was buried there. Finally, Siren uttered something to him. Siren: What is it? Khan: I sense great unrest...which has even shook up my master. I don?t know whether to help him now or to carry out my objective. Siren: Well... Khan: I know that we need assistance, but if Kain goes to seek this and is destroyed we will no longer need assistance, as without Kain, we have no leader...we would be nothing. He trailed off at the end there, still pondering what to do. His mind was made up, he had his duty to Kain and he would fulfil it. Khan: Although I am not happy about it, we will proceed into Raspeth and do as I was ordered and if my master needs me for assistance I will respond immediately! Siren: If you say so... Suddenly Khan stopped again, he heard his master?s voice Kain: *whispering* Khan, I have sensed that you know what is going on and I know what you are thinking. Khan: Yes my master, what is it that you would like me to do? Siren could hear this as well. Both her and Khan listened carefully as Kain was about to speak...
Yoda
Kain:... Carry on Khan. You must fulfill your duty. I shall go alone, and this beast will be dead within the hour. Kain took a deep breath, then turned and ran at full pace towards the gates of Normus. Medra and Azmudan both sensed him leaving, but they had been given no other orders, so they carried on finding scouts. Two Sarafan glyph knights stood at the gates to the city, replacing the group that had been slaughtered by the three vampires. They glowed orange as Kain approached, they instantly knew where he was. Kain cared not, he charged at the knights, who ran twoards him with their large broad swords. Kain's hand glowed with red energy, which transfered into the Soul Reaver. His fury attack, weakest of all his rage like abilities, but, with the Soul Reaver, it was deadly to almost anything. He cut in an upwards ark at the first glyph knight, and it ripped straight through him, the seperate halves of his body being launched backwards, exploding as they hit the gates' wall. Kain: Be honoured Sarafan, I have learned a new ability, and you are to be it's first combat test subject. It shouldn't be unfamiliar to you, your master knew this ability long before I. Kain thrust the Soul Reaver forward, and a red stream of energy came out of it's blade, hitting the Glyph Knight, bursting through his middle, ripping most of his organs to shreds. However, the shot didn't come from Kain, it wasn't channeled through the sword, but it came from the sword itself. Kain knew this ability a life time ago, and only now had he re-learned it. Kain noticed the gate was blocked by a ward gate, and there seemed to be no lever in the area. Kain scowled, then leapt up, his claws ripping into the wall, holdinh him up. Then, using his mighty arms, he launched himself upwards, gripping the top of the wall that sdurrounded the city. He flipped over the wall, landing gracefully on the other side, and he continued, without hinder, towards the Sarafan camp.
QuantumCore
Slade also sensed this great force and also now felt Kain's pressnce. Slade decided to go and see this Kain and what he can do. Slade leaped from his tower in Normus, as he did his cloak had revealed his armor that was of the vampiric warrior kind long since dead from the great battle that took place over a millenia ago as he fell his body disappeared into a shadow that moved quickly to catch up with Kain. As he approached Kains location he knew Kain sensed him but due to his shadow form Kain could never really feel where he was and Kain didn't seem to care for he was focused on other tasks and that this is not of importance to him right now. DAI
Raziel found himself standing in front of a group of Sarafan warriors all of them had weapons drawn. One of the Sarafan charged at him, sword held high, he brought it down in an ark where Raziel had been a second sooner. The Sarafan tuned but was too late, Raziel had his hand around his neck and he then crushed his throat leaving the Sarafan go to fall lifeless to the floor. Raziel turned to see that his brothers had already killed the other Sarafan warriors, he turned his attention again to the Sarafan he had killed seconds earlier and drank the blood from the still body. Suddenly Raziel sensed a great force, he realised something was very wrong. Raziel: Something is wrong, we must find our master quickly. The six vampires dissapeared into the shadows in search of their new master.
Yoda
Kain now faced the creature. Hideous in appearence, even more disfigured than Azmudan, the flesh was literally hanging from his bone, dry blood covered every cut, bruise and sore. Still, Kain did not fear him, for he had true power, in himself, and within the weapon that he carried. This beast could do nothing to him. Kain pointed to the beast with one clawed hand, as the other rested upon the handle of the Reaver. Kain: What are you, creature? Have you come to take back what the Sarafan have lost? I assure, you, if that is the case, then you will die. I can already tell you are a creature of Sarafanitic nature. Speak demon, my patience wavers, and I may not keep you alive to answer my question. The creature, a huge bulbous figure, stood, staring at Kain, breathing heavily. He rested his staff of the ground with one giant, clawed hand. ???: I... am Malik... the means of your demise. Throw down your weapon vampire... or I will be forced to take it from you. Kain sneered, his cold, yellow eyes staring deeply at the creature. Kain: Do you really believe you could strip the Soul Reaver from it's master? You have no Nexus Stone, you have but a pathetic lance. I welcome your attempts, the Reaver craves for blood again, as do I. It was inconceivable. Kain had no time even to raise the Reaver to defend. With a single swing of the lance, the creature, Malik, had knocked the Reaver from Kain's mighty grasp. It spun through the air, anf fell straight through the opening that Malik had fought his way out of. Malik laughed, it was evil, demonic, and then he leapt down into the fissure after it. As soon as he did, a span of purple energy covered the fissure, and sealed it shut once again. Kain, he was beyond furious. Once again, he was separated from the thing that he adored most. Once again, a Sarafan creature had found a way to strip him of his gold. And, once again, Kain would get his vengeance. Kain: Medra, Azmudan... and my six sons. Come now, the Reaver has left me, and I shall find it. Come now to the Sarafan camp, and enter this underground layer opened by the creature, Malik. Find my Reaver, return it to me, but, if you find the warrior Malik, leave him. He... is mine! With that, Kain moved over the the tiny opening, the only crack that Malik had failed to seal. He banged his fist upon the floor, and cried out to the sky. Kain: Nosgoth itself will pay for this abomination. I swear, I shall rip the pillars down, and use them for my throne! Nothing in this world is above me! NOTHING!!! Kain smashed his clawed fist upon the gound again, and leapt down through the crack in the floor. Chaos
Medra, already in the Caverns, simply dodging every creature he came across, before literally running up the walls that surrounded the sides of the huge rut that formed a sort of a trail. Next to him, he saw Azmudan keeping strong pace, making his large cleaver into a exceedingly large pole. He valted from side to side of the Cavern, as Medra simply Jumped straight forward. In no time at all, they were at the camp. As they decended into the depths of the hole, they were shocked at the geo-thermal Hell...

Raiha
Jaudiar lit a single candle on her low table and gently blew out the match. She drew out both silver daggars and laid the on the table. With smooth sure motions, she rubbed grease into the metal surfaces, taking care to touch the cloth to every corner. When she was finished, she set them down and drew out two sticks of insence. Touching both to the flame, she set them into a cup of soil, and placed the objects in front of four jizo statues..... And time went by...... The Vampiric Mage raised herself from her futon, hair falling about her shoulders. The dream had been too real, too vivid.
