Raiha
The star settled on Hr's chest, glowing, still. The demon's stepped back. The symbol of Alujah and the Arch Serphim....from the center a huge black rose spread its petals....the sweet scent of Valeigh rising itno the air. High-Rule smiled...the pain was vanishing as he even spoke. Valeigh's eyes sparkled and snapped, dangerous. Agonizing pain...flooding through her body. She hissed and her wings spread outwards, the claws flexing and slidding in and out. "I am coming. Fear not."
Carren Heart
High-Rule smiled at the Via'pus High-Rule: Valeigh will save me and destroy you foul creature. The Via'pus only stuck again at High-Rule sinking into his left arm and lifting him up drooling at the sight of his blood the creature licks High-Rule's arm savoring the taste.
Raiha
Wings flashing a dusty rose, she whipped her blade out of its sheath. The metallic clang combined with the great deathsong pouring from her lips......she was coming. Via: Where is you precious little angel? I don't see her... Valeigh: YAHAA! Wings flashing with black light, the Angel of death bore down on the demons. With a swift kick and upward slash, she impaled the hapless beast. A puff of red smoke and a burst of sulfer. Then he was banished.... High-Rule smiled. She had pulled through once more. Fou wings spread out, glittering in the pale moonlight...and Valeigh hissed. Valeigh: Depart, or it's back to the abyss with you all.... Via'pus: Make us, angel bîtch. Valeigh:.....very well.
Carren Heart
HR watched as the angel fought for his safety her grace, speed, and beauty filled his thoughts as he thought of the first time they met. -------------------------------------------------- The Battle of Valei The night grew darker as the creatures defiled the inner temple walls High-Rule being among the youngest warriors in the armies of Valeigh stood there watching the flickering lights burning the temple to the ground. There were only a dozen warriors left and Valeigh's chosen had fallen prey to the creatures deceptions High-Rule tried to warn him weeks ago but the general was stubborn in his ways and sinfully prideful in his ways. High-Rule always dreamed of becoming the chosen himself he lived for the ideals Valeigh's army stood for and he would not watch as the demons within it defiled something so dear to him. High-Rule looked over to the other remaining members of the army speaking from his heart he asked them to join with him in the last fight of there lives but the man hadn't appear as noble as High-Rule and slowly turned away leaves the creatures to the inner sanctum. All alone High-Rule took up his blade from which he drew his courage and donned his armor from which would bare his truth and hold his last breath these were the thoughts that entered his mind as he continued onward. Through a series of hidden passages he entered the inner sanctum where only the priest and chosen of Valeigh have been before he stared up at the majestic beauty of his patron angel Valeigh. He stood there seemingly hours awed by the brilliant statue that he'd never seen before then. The chamber door snapped at the forceful might of the Via'pus trying to enter, he spun around holding up his weapon ready for the battle ahead knowing that now there was no turning back. It was then that the angel noticed him, the young warrior whom would fall in honor of her cause. Hundreds of years have passed since she seen a mortal being with this kind of faith and determination she paid him the honor of watching his last stand. Soon the Via'pus shattered the chamber doors rushing into the room gathering around High-Rule, The lead Via'pus huge in size drenched in blood stepped up before High-Rule. Valeigh's and High-Rule's eyes widen as the chosen of Valeigh stood before High-Rule. High-Rule: Traitor you sold us out you bastard! Vol'don: << Laughs >> Pitiful young High-Rule, you showed much promise being the youngest of your class and still managing to defeat Yun'is. A feat even those twice your age dream of. High-Rule: You were her chosen! How could you betray Valeigh! Vol'don: She cares not for us mortal creatures, I've served her my whole life and never could one being be so uncaring. High-Rule: << Looking down >> She cares Vol'don, but you lost faith and that's why you don't know she watches us even now. Valeigh Stood amazed could the mortal see her watching if so he was very different from all the others no mortal being can see angelic appearance unless they wish to be seen. Vol'don: << Loudly Laughing >> Poor young boy you could possibly see her here. High-Rule: I don't see her here I feel her watching us I have faith in her. Vol'don: Faith in her! She has done nothing for you! Except maybe watch both your mother and father waste away before your eyes! Were was she then High-Rule WHERE! High-Rule: Guiding them to a better place Vol'don, comforting me with just that thought! The room froze at the intensity of the young man's words, the room flashed a pale white. Within the brilliance of the light he first saw her standing there a day he'd never forget. Valeigh: the boy is right Vol'don! I do care for all of you but only when you loss that faith do you forget that. The Flash Back ends as High-Rule blacks out from the pain.
Raiha
It was over, her arms were glowing, twisted with the vines of roses. Her battle scars were long since healed, but the roses were still prominent.....standing out from the rest of her skin. He dropped her sword and raised his head into her lap, calling him by the name she had given to him..... Valeigh: Entari, hold on.... His eyelids flickered....roses again....and a feeling of safety. Valeigh smiled and picked him up, spreading her wings...... "It's time to go."
The Harlequin
OOC: I'm not even going to try to jump in to whichever one of the [Edit, blame "my dear Raiha"] two "situations"[/Edit] currently running here... IC: Sinistrad continued walking away from the others forms he had seen. He really didn't care why he was here, and he didn't need anyone to tell him any different. Several minutes elapsed in this kind of mind frame, until Sinistrad was jolted out of it by the fact that his path was no longer clear. A single Via'pus stood in front of him. Sinistrad: Look, I really don't have time for this. Via'pus: Ah, but I do. Your death will be a pleasure. Sinistrad: You kill for pleasure you say? Via'pus: Of course foolish mortal! Sinistrad's strange sword flashed out and took the creature in the throat. As it crumpled to the ground, Sinistrad replied almost conversationally. Sinistrad: Well...I kill for a living, you thrice damned aggravation. Sinistrad stepped over the still writhing body, and continued ignoring everything around him... OOC: I'll post something more intelligible and useful when I get an opening.
Raiha
Well, it's quite simple my dear Harlequin, just say hi to Valeigh and her fallen love. And make some scathing comments like you usually do. I'm quite sure the Angel of Death and Battle would be overjoyed to see your face once more. And do me a favor....fiasco is too strong a word. And there's only about 2 of them going on. Count for yourself if you're not sure.
The Harlequin
Sinistrad's random path eventually took him to the site of what appeared to be a recent battle. The scent of death carried across the land. He sighed, and supposed he would have to get involved. All he found however, was an angelic looking being carrying a body. As the strange being in front of him was about to leave, Sinistrad strode forward, complaining loudly. Sinistrad: Do not even think of disappearing, until you give me some answers as to a) what the hell is going on here, and b) why the hell do I have to get involved? And if I have to continue this stream of invective for an instant longer than neccessary, then this thrice-cursed entire thing can be killed, evicerated and have its guts strung up on the proverbial fence for all I care. Of the forsaken luck, why am I the one who gets thrown into these messes? If I have to get anyone else out this time, I really am going to set multiple things on fire. Lots of fire. As usual, his outpourings were greeted with silence.
Raiha
She twisted her wings slightly, then folded them back into her shoulderblades again. He was venting....and looking rather intersting at the same time....Valeigh's scarred arms slowly receeded back to their normal color.... and when she spoke, her voice was calm, and even. Valeigh: The Via'pus attacked my love when I was away. I came and rescued him, slew the offenders, and that was the end of that. And then you came along. Sinistrad: ...... Valeigh: ....and vented. And made yourself look like a fool. I never asked you to get involved. If you want to, you can. But I'm warning you, there might be some good deeds involved. And based on your recent tyraid, you might not be able to handle that.
The Harlequin
Sinistrad: Tirade? You think that was a tirade! I'm just getting started! There I was, comfortably dead, which was how I've wanted to be for oh, all my forsaken life!, when I get myself ressurrected, and it seems I'm here to help save the world or some other absurdity! These damn Via'pus certainly aren't something to get excited about, judging by the stupidity of the ones I've encountered so far. Oh, you're damn right I'm going to get involved, and you can be damn sure you, the near-dead guy, and anyone else I come across isn't going to like it! There was a long pause while Sinistrad calmed down. Sinistrad: In other words, where to?
Raiha
She couldn't help it. The sight of this fallen angel just ......too late. Uproarious laughter bubbled from deep inside of her, and for the next few moments, she was completely occupied with trying to control her mirth. Sinistrad watched her, a look of disgust on his face. She wiped her eyes with one hand and regained control. The bloodsword retracted and landed on her belt, and her wings spread. Valeigh: We are going to Atenae. I assume you will be coming with me. Sinistrad: .....yes... Valeigh: Then may I suggest you remain calm. Ochkik Haddah won't like any sudden outbursts. Sinistrad: The Lord of Nightmares..... Valeigh: My father? Yes.
Raquel
Siren touched ground behind Valeigh Siren: Going somewhere without me? I'd pretend to be insulted... But I'm more intrested in where we're going... She crosses her arms and raises an eyebrow at Sinistrad Siren: By the way... I left the others... I'm not sure is they'll follow me or not... OOC: Um... Lets get this going again... I'll see if I can harass Ken into getting himself to post
Raiha
Valeigh: They will come. Or be spitted by the damn Vias. Siren: Perfecto. Sinistrad: ....the others... Valeigh: Don't stress yourself with things you must consider beneath you. It might give you premature wrinkles. With a quick movement, she leapt upwards, wings beating furiously. The three angels rose into the air in formation.....then Valeigh rotated slowly....geting her bearings. She roared aloud her battlecry, and raced into the night. True north...her home was calling her name. Siren: How long? Valeigh: 3 hours of swift flying.
The Harlequin
Sinistrad: Three hours in close company with the only people I've encountered so far who may just be so insane. Siren: You do have problems don't you? Sinistrad: Of course. Such as all these little tweaks, gouges and perforation that people seem to think brightens up my day. Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I'll work out how to knock myself into catatonia, without falling. That was Sinistrad's conversation for the remainder of the flight.
Raiha
They touched down next to a cliff surrounded gorge. A waterfall splashed down from the rockside, and a long lake spread in an oblong shape. Valeigh set down her charge and relaxed on the long sweet grass. This area would slowly replenish High-rule's energy... Sinistrad: This place is holy.... Valeigh: After a fashion. It isn't as holy as it could be. I'm not like that. Siren: Angel of Death....makes sense. Valeigh: Anyone hungry?

Carren Heart
Both night and day quickly came and gone as High-Rule laid still and silent among the holy grounds. His body slowly but surly mended itself recovering from the dire wounds he had suffered early, close by sat Valeigh looking over at the over angels talking to themselves. Sinistrad: << Looking over at Valeigh for a moment, then looks back at Siren >> so that's the angel of death caring for a human like that. Siren: Titles can be deceiving Sinistrad. Sinistrad: Doesn't she think he'll be put into danger again? Siren: I'm sure she's thought of that. Always High-Rule petty strong he can take care of himself. Sinistrad: Siren we raised in army against those things when we were human, and it got us nowhere in the end. << Looks angered >> How can he be safe with us. Siren: Maybe he won't, maybe he will. I can't say but he can help us for now and besides he was our friend when we were mortal and I'd prefer it to stay that way danger or no danger. A few moments pasted in silence. Siren: << Looking down at her self as she stood up >> Wow! That's amazing I can fell the strength of this place << Looks over at Sinistrad >> can you? Sinistrad: << Grins >> yes it's truly amazing indeed. Valeigh: These holy grounds flow through you and gather lost strength if ever we get separated you should seek holy ground. Siren: But this strength is still growing within me << Touching her stomach and arms >> Valeigh: Like Entari said, you may fell weaker but I'll renew and you'll become much stronger then you once were. Sinistrad: << Rolling he's eyes >> You named him? Valeigh: << Looked at him cross >> Don't even start!
Raiha
Valeigh closed her eyes and leaned back.... The energy was humming through the place, leaving her with a feeling of calm quiet. Perfect time to go to sleep. Within minutes, she was dead to the world..... Dreams endlessly chasing themselves through her head, loud, then soft, then cold, then warm. Her lips moved to a song.....dreaming again.
Carren Heart
The light of the morning sun brought a relieving calm feeling to the troupe of angels. Valeigh felt a light gentle touch brush across her face as she opens her eyes to see High-Rule still slightly injured but far better then before, he smiled at her with thankful eyes. High-Rule: Awake my dear. The others heard as he spook to her. Valeigh: << Grins leaning up kissing him >> Entari you look better. High-Rule: I am << Standing >> Thank you, but we must continue on our journey the Via'pus have a spy among us. Valeigh: << Mood completely gone hearing that >> what? One of us? << Looks around angered >> before you awoke we were heading to my father, we should continue there if a spy is within our company he'll know how we'd find them. Raiha
Her eyes hardened and she drew her sword. This was not going to be a pleasure excursion. Sinistrad: What? You think I caused all the trouble? Valeigh: Did I say that? I think we'd best go to see Agnia. Siren: You're kidding. The look she gave Siren proved otherwise. With a simple thrust of her wings, she shot into the air and spiraled upwards.
Raquel
Siren sighed rather loudly and unfolded her wings as well... Siren: If you say so... But I still think it's a bad idea... A real bad idea... Sinistrad: Who is this "Agnia" person? Siren sniffed and fixed him with a rather harsh glare Siren: You'll find out... She folded her arms and managed to look pissed... The Harlequin
Sinistrad just looked right back, one eyebrow tipped up slightly. He leapt into the air, slowly ascending. Sinistrad: Well, someone lead the way...
Raiha
Like a streak of quicksilver, Valeigh took off, straight into the sky.....the others followed closely, then realized her path. They were heading directly for the moon. Siren closed in and flew beside her. Siren: Can we do this? Valeigh: Sure! Just keep your aura intact. Let's go! Immediatly after, silver flames errupted around her, and provided a sense of both strength and endurance. They continued and soon broke through the atmosphere's many layers. The moon loomed high overhead, white, stark, pale.......darkness all around, with nothing to relieve it's stare.
Carren Heart
High-Rule momentarily stood watching the angels ascend into the heavenly skies above; he concentrated deeply to summon the powers of divinity to form crackling wings of pure energy after doing so he blasted off into the heavens to follow the angels. High-Rule: One of you will have to take me when we get to high up and while traveling into space, I can't survive without your help. Sinistrad: << Looked over at High-Rule >> I'll aid you. High-Rule: << Nods >> Alright then. The troupe continued onward.
